Horrible. I've been here before, and the food and drinks were great! Today, however, the drinks were HORRIBLE. The margaritas tasted like water mixed with cheap liquor, and the "lemon drop" tasted like watered-down lemonade. There was no sugar on the rim, and they literally just dropped a lemon peel into the drink. The pizza also didn't look or taste the same as it did during my previous visit. Our server was nice and pleasant, though, so that made the experience somewhat bearable. Had my baby shower here in February. It turned out great. Food was awesome, staff was very attentive. The party coordinator was very helpful and answered all my questions. First time dining here and it was pretty good. I came as part of a large group (17) so we were split into two tables and it worked out because cousins sat on one side and parents on the other. The food was good, the spicy meatball pizza was definitely my favorite and their appetizers weren't bad either. The service was decent but could've definitely been better, I understand it was a large group but it seems for the table of adults they had to constantly ask for plates, utensils or a refill and at my table they did clear off the area as much as they could but could've been more attentive with refills. Nonetheless, they were nice enough to sing to my sister for her birthday and we all still enjoy our time. It's also great that they have free parking right behind the restaurant because it's on a bit of a busy road. We came to Vesta for a Thanksgiving meal and were really shocked by what we were served. The appetizers like beet salad, bread, and calamari were fine, but nothing to write home about. The pizza was dense and lacked the plush Neapolitan-style crust I was hoping for from a wood-fired oven, was looking forward to the pizza the most given that was what this establishment is known for. The servers seemed overwhelmed, and it took forever to get plates cleared and drinks delivered. Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience. The best dish of the night was the steak with fries, but unfortunately, the special Thanksgiving menu left us extremely disappointed. The turkey dinner was pitiful--barely 2-3 slices of dry turkey that resembled deli meat from the grocery store, and the stuffing was so dry, it tasted like the boxed kind I make at home. Honestly, it felt like the kind of Thanksgiving meal you'd end up with if you burned your dinner and had to make a mad dash to the store last minute. And they were charging nearly $30 for this? We also got a slice of pie, which was tiny, tasted store-bought, and wasn't even warmed throughout. I order from Vesta on Doordash regularly, and I've visited in person as well. It feels more upscale than you'd expect. The food is pretty expensive, but it's very good. I ate here on Sunday, for the first time in about 10 years (I used to work nearby but don't anymore). The wood-fired pizzas are the stars - the dough is perfect, high-quality ingredients for the toppings (the sauce is more like a marinara than a typical pizza sauce) and wood-fired makes for the best flavors! We also had the summer salad - it was really well designed and prepared, with freshly grilled chicken. Beer selection was excellent! Last night we hosted a cocktail party in their chandelier room for 50 guests. I have not one bad thing to say about this operation! The servers to the event planner to the owner were helpful and gracious and even bought us a round of espresso martinis after our event ended. The room was set exactly how we requested it down to every last detail. The charcuterie station was gorgeous and you could tell they really took their time making sure it was perfect. Anything I asked for or needed was in my hand in 5 minutes or less. And we all know how helpful that is when you're planning a party! All of our guests said the same thing as they entered and it was "wow this is a great place and great idea" 3 hours, beer/wine/sangria/Prosecco & a cocktail of the night. A TON of hand pass options.. pizza... shrimp cocktail station .. it just kept going on. We have also been here for a baby shower & just for a regular dinner reservation & it's great everytime. They also have great appetizers, we tried the artichoke with lemon dressing and it was so fresh. The pies I got were the artichoke vodka parm and the sounds about white. Both were super good! The 14inch is enough to feed 2-3 people. Would also recommend the white sangria, it was a perfect pairing. The place itself is pretty big, and good for parties I'd say around 10-12 people large. The menu changes up seasonally, but most recently we loved their "It's the Guanicale for Me" (guanicale, wild mushrooms, carmelized onions, smoked mozzarella). Because the pizza is wood-fired, you might find some spots in the crust darker than others, but I actually love those charred spots! I don't always care for crust, but I do love the soft chewiness of it here. Our hotel had this restaurant on its recommended list and it was close by. When we pulled up we were relieved to see that they had available parking in the back. It's got a great vibe, both inside and out. We ordered arancini for an app, pizza and chicken parm for mains. They brought us very tasty bread with olive oil as well. The food was excellent - everything tasted really good. I did ask for the sauce for the chicken parm to be brought out on the side and they accommodated my request without blinking an eye. A work colleague and I tried Vesta for dinner on a Monday while in town for meetings. I had remembered the place from maybe 10 years ago, and was happy to see that was still there. Things have changed a little, but not much - and that's a good thing. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and is generally a pleasant place to be. We were seated quickly, but there was a little confusion by the wait staff making the experience slower than it needed to be. I am also not a fan of the loud club music they were playing, and it didn't really match the rest of the vibe. In any event, although not large, the menu contains lots of choices, and we both enjoyed a nice glass of wine and a great meal. My friend had the salmon, and it looked fantastic. She really like it. I had the gorgonzola medallions of beef over black pepper linguini alfredo. It was an interesting combination, and was prepared very nicely. I saw several pizzas pass by too, and hope to get back to try one of those. We finished up by splitting a desert - the cannoli and biscotti. It was tasty, but a little watered down and filled with a ton of ice. Pizza was average. Tasted good but was a a little on the burnt side. I also love being able to watch the pizza being made. The open concept is wonderful - However, with that, I don't love watching the pizza cook being out in the open on their phone. This could be a contributing factor to the bottom of the pizza being burnt. I also believe phones hold a ton of germs. Do not think it's sanitary to be touching your phone while making food for customers. Aside from that, there was no wait and there was a ton of seating available.
