I had huevos rancheros and it was top three breakfasts ever. Server was very nice and attentive. Coffee was coffee. Ambience was exactly what I like..

The service was phenomenal, I got a regular burrito with asada and my friend got a wet burrito. My burrito was okay no complaints. My friend claims that her wet burrito sauce taste a bit from a can so she wasn't too happy. I got the lemonade which I was happy to hear that they offered free refills on. The young lady that took our order was really nice and very attentive. The place itself is not sparkly new but should not scare you away from the attention to detail in their food quality. The pricing seemed very reasonable as well.

My son and I just finished an Emergency Mangement class at Everett Community College and decided to get some food and this little gem of a restaurant was just off campus. Jennifer was awesome! The seating was comfortable and we will be back.

I noticed the Mama's sign a couple weeks ago. The place seems to have changed ownership or management, so I decided to check it out. It was a little sad to see that the restaurant was empty when I came by early on a weekday to pick up lunch. A van was blocking the narrow driveway to the parking lot and I had to wait for them to move. Otherwise, there is no parking because Mama's is on a odd side street close to Broadway. Don't park in the lot to the south! It belongs to their neighbor! The parking lot is a little tight but since it wasn't busy, there was no problem finding a spot. A colorful entrance at the rear puts you near the kitchen and bathrooms. Walk down a short corridor and you'll find the dining area. I think it was the family's daughter who took my order and chatted with me about her violin, which was laying open on a nearby table. The wait was short and soon I was headed home with 2 taco plates and an horchata. We tried the carne asada and al pastor tacos. The taco plate comes with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Everything was made with loving care, and BEST OF ALL, it was from scratch! The beans were flavorful and WHOLE! (This is a big deal since most joints use powdered or refried and don't take the time to make them in-house.) The rice was fluffy. The to-go container was carefully lined with foil. And the tacos were heaped with cilantro, meat, and onions. The accompanying salsa was mild and tasty. The horchata definitely seemed like it was not from a package. Although both meats were delicious, I really enjoyed the al pastor over the carne asada. Next time I will try other offerings but I'll always come back to the al pastor. I was surprised at the quality of this meal. I've passed Mama's a lot since I've lived in Everett, and ignored it until now based on the kinda weird location and the generally shabby exterior. Not anymore. I'll definitely be back to support them and enjoy one of the best Mexican meals you can buy in Everett.

Best Mexican food I've ever had and I just got back from Cabo San Lucas! The chicken enchiladas and wet burrito were great.

Service was immediate and we had the pico and guacamole board to share and it was really good. Great flavor and I enjoyed the thicker chips. The salsa was just ok. Noticed a bar with cocktails, lots of screens to watch different things, and the hours were excellent for a weeknight! Very few places open that late in that area. I ate the $6 enchilada with verde sauce and that's some of the best verde I've had in a long time. Could be a little less sweet and it would still be great!! I heard the garden in the back is a great spot but forgot to check it out. I didn't use their restroom so I can't speak to that but overall the place was clean and the tables were busy about 8ish on a weeknight.

We also ordered the loaded nachos and the tortilla chips tasted like store bought :( My husband ordered the roasted poblano tacos which he liked. Oxacarita and one another cocktail we tried were pretty good. Would have rated the food a 4 but taking one more star off because the service wasn't that great, there were about 5 tables occupied (one large party) but we weren't tended to until we personally went and spoke to a server and requested to take our order. Their menu looked interesting though so I am gonna give them benefit of doubt and will try again and update.

So heading north we noticed a taco stand across from one of the chain burger places. Why wife knows how much I like street tacos so it was a no brainer. There was one customer ahead of so we had time to decide Both of us chose the taco plate, they showed three different options on the menu so we asked if we could have one of each which they said sure you get beans and rice as your sides. I notice that Elotes was also available so had to have that too!! It's nice that they have a debit card reader which made payment easier. Seams like a family run stand with mom running the show with dad manning the grill, I'm guessing their daughter takes orders and handles the toll plus helping where need. Everyone was friendly the order was given to us quickly. Now they were in a parking lot I didn't notice any tables but that was ok home is close and everything was hot when we got home. Each of the three tacos was moist and nicely seasoned. The beens and rice are pretty typical fare but good! Now the Elotes was delicious a corn on the cob dipped in a savory sauce dusted with a cheese powder with a drizzle of not a hot hot sauce but it has a little zing you gotta try it! I was looking to see if this stand was on Yelp when we ordered but couldn't find anything maybe I miss spelled the name so no pictures this time, sorry but next time I'll do better! Nice to have an option like this in the lake Stevens area will definitely be back.

Seats are limited and on our visit (Tuesday) several people were unable to find a seat. It was loud during our visit so it was hard to hear one another during our visit.
