A lot of places popped up, but this Mexican restaurant really stood out -- great reviews and the food pictures looked amazing. It's about 13 minutes from the airport, which made it super convenient. From the outside, it looks small, but once you walk in, it's surprisingly spacious. We were seated immediately, and our server was absolutely phenomenal -- so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. For an appetizer, we ordered the queso fundido with chorizo (you can choose corn or flour tortillas). This is one of my favorite dishes to get at any Mexican restaurant if they offer it, and this one did not disappoint. The cheese was perfectly melty and stretchy, and the chorizo had great flavor that paired so well with it. Wrapping that cheesy, savory goodness in a warm tortilla? So good. For my main dish, I ordered the quesabirria -- corn tortillas filled with birria and cheese, fried crispy, and served with consommé for dipping. It was decent, but I will say it didn't have quite as much flavor as I'm used to with quesabirria. Still enjoyable, just could've used a bit more seasoning. The beans were actually delicious and full of flavor, but the rice was a little bland and could've used some salt. Overall, the service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and even though it was busy, everything came out in a timely manner. The prices were also very reasonable -- definitely not expensive for the quality and portions. I would absolutely come back to try other dishes. With just a little more seasoning in some areas, it would easily be a five-star spot for me!

Came here for Lunch with Mary on Saturday March 30th 2013. This establishment offers Mexican bakery, and some of Mexican food, that includes, Menudo, Smothered Burritos, Tacos, Tostadas, Tortas and the House Specials to name a few. You make your order at the counter. The lovely lady who takes your order will then send your food to the table where you will be seated. There are a few seating available in this establishment. The service was prompt and the food came out hot. I cant recall what Mary ordered but these were the items I ordered this afternoon : First Round : 1 Cabesa Taco 1 Lengua Taco Second Round : 1 Carne Asada (Steak) Taco 1 Tripa Taco I decide to order them separately coz I prefer to eat my Tacos hot, hence Round 1 and Round 2 respectively. Each Round Order cost me with tax $3.58 respectively. My total lunch cost was $7.16. The flavor was there but it does not WOW me as much as other Taqueria in town etc etc. If I am not mistaken, the pricing of each Taco that I order was between ($1.50-$1.80). As with regards to the portions of meat in each Taco, it was just A-OK. The lady who took our order also offer us 2 bottles of Salsa, one of Green and the other was Red. I prefer the Red Salsa or sauce coz its more spicier than the Green one. I so wish they could provide more options in terms of Salsa bar in which this establishment does not have. Nevertheless, I DO NOT MIND returning to order other stuffs with Hubs, when schedule permitting. Perhaps from there, my review might differ. @63/2013

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cute Mexican restaurant vibe, bright, cheerful colors, charming décor, and a really cozy feel that makes you want to sit down and relax. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel welcomed and comfortable, which is always a great start to any dining experience. The service here was honestly outstanding. Our waitress didn't completely understand English, but she tried her absolute hardest and was so sweet and attentive throughout our meal. You could tell she genuinely appreciated that we were patient and allowed her to take her time with us. She was thankful for the opportunity to practice, and that effort alone made us feel valued as customers. Even with a language barrier, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, which really made the experience feel special. The food was equally impressive. The chips and salsa were homemade and incredibly flavorful, they had the perfect balance of freshness and seasoning, and it was clear they put care into preparing them. For our entrees, I ordered a torta, and my partner got a chimichanga. Both dishes arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The torta was perfectly crispy, with a filling that was rich and flavorful, and the chimichanga was hearty and well-seasoned, with a golden, perfectly fried exterior. Each bite was satisfying, and the portions were generous enough that we left feeling completely full and happy. What really sets this location apart from others I've been to is the combination of quality food, attentive service, and the warm, welcoming vibe. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the guests and take pride in providing a positive dining experience. The care they put into both the service and the food makes this location feel special compared to others I've visited. Overall, I would highly recommend this Real de Minas location. Whether you're coming for a casual lunch, dinner, or just a relaxed meal with friends or family, it's a spot where you can enjoy authentic Mexican food in a cheerful, comfortable environment. The friendly staff, homemade dishes, and inviting atmosphere make it a place I'll definitely be returning to.

After tasting the food and interacting with the greeter (I ordered to go) I truly cannot see why someone would leave a low review. The greeter at the front door welcomed me in kindly and was patient for my order while I browsed their extensive menu. I was on the fence on what to order until I spotted the golden item: quesabirria tacos, my fave. I decided on those and when asking for a recommendation on if the rice was flavorful or more on the bland side, I appreciated her truthful answer. My order came out pretty fast, within 8-10 minutes. They gave me ALLLLL the fixins and then some. I received 3 tacos, 3 limes, cilantro, white and red onions, sliced habanero peppers, AMD chips and salsa. The salsa was magnificent, and I'm usually the person that would rather not eat the chips and salsa because the quality is low and it is not tasty. But you could tell the vegetables they used were very fresh and it had a tiny bite of spice. Probably third best restaurant salsa I've tasted. The other salsas for the birria tacos were wayyyy too salty. As far as the birria tacos went, they were exploding with flavor, and my cheese pull was textbook definition. The consume was one sprinkle of seasoning away from being on the bland side, right on the cusp, but valid enough. I can definitely see myself coming back!
