Two choices in rice and your choice of three kinds of beans (refried, pinto or black) along with 3-4 sauces, varying in spiciness. Place is no frills. You order at the counter from pictures on the wall, sit at tables and chairs and enjoy a good meal. Horchata was alright, allthough it seemed a bit watered down - maybe I put too much ice in cup. I have been a huge fan for Bocaza since 1996, while they still had a location on Williams & 17th St. this location is just as good with even nicer people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I can't recommend the smothered burritos with Carnitas enough. Not many places in Colorado have real carnitas made the proper way. Well, Bocaza is one that does. Their enchiladas, whether it's cheese and onion or any of their meats are also delicious. Ohh, and don't forget a big scoop of their corn salsa, in addition to the pico de gallo. When in this part of Aurora, you look for some delicious Mexican food. I came here by recommendation and I was so excited! I ordered the Mexican city taco order. You get 4 tacos for $7.50 . Yes, that's right $7.50. You can choose from chicken,steak,carnitas and Barbacoa. I got 2 carnitas, 1 Barbacoa and 1 steak. Then pick out your salsas and they'll give you limes with onion and cilantro on top. Their Carnitas was AMAZING. So tender, so juicy, I would recommend that over the rest. I also saw they had freshly made menudo ,which I wasn't able to order because the portion is massive. The workers here are SO sweet and nice, they all were so patient and pleasant with everyone's order. This was a great lunch stop, and I'll definitely come back to try out their breakfast. Stopped by during lunch time to get a torta from this place as it was particularly empty in comparison to the places nearby. The torta comes with bread, refried beans your choice of meat, pico, avocado and lettuce. The woman making my sandwich put a dollop of beans and attempted to spread them across the bread only covering the center, when I asked for a little bit more the of the beans she happily obliged only to charge me $1.50 for that. Not only was I charged for something that should've came with the entree but the bread was stale and the meat was flavorless. It's only saving grace was the salsas. read more

Well hidden in the back of a small, busy shopping center that has 2 other Mexican eateries. I pulled up around 9:30a, but decided to check out the reviews of the other 2 places. I quickly noticed the revolving door of customers coming in & out, as busy as any Starbucks! I hustled inside to a line about 9 deep with many others eating or waiting at small tables. The place is clean, bright, with clear poster menus & pics. The order process is exactly like Chipotle/Qdoba: you order each item & it's assembled down the line in front of you. All the prices were very reasonable, but the standard breakfast burritos were under $5 for choice of meat, potato/egg mix, green chile, cheese, & fresh avocado (optional)! I was so impressed by the service, food, & prices, I ended up ordering 2 different breakfast burritos & street tacos too (the burritos were very good, the street tacos were ok). I had the chicken enchiladas with choice of two types or rice and three kinds of beans ($9.50). The enchiladas were the size of floutas with a simple red sauce poured on top. The chips were still warm in the bag so I knew they were fresh. The salsa wasn't chilled like most salsa but it was really yummy. The only thing missing was a margarita. Stopped here for dinner on the way to Breckenridge from the airport. I was looking for a quick place to grab dinner on-the-go and came across Bocaza on Yelp. Authentic, hole-in-the-wall Mexican food! They got you covered with burritos, bowls, tacos, tamales, and more! They assemble the food in front of you so it's pretty customizable. I chose a combo plate with a tamale and chicken taco. The taco was so yummy and seasoned well. Everything was delicious! I also enjoyed the tamale, but my only problem was that they heat it up in the microwave. Portions are very large for a great price! I had my first spinach tortilla and everything made my belly happy. Rice, black beans ( I grew up on with pinto beans and these babies are a treat), cheese, avocado slices,lettuce and salsa. I asked for hot because I LOVE hot and spicy and figured the red sauce on top could probably use it. OMG, I fell in love. Why? I'm not a fan of smothered food since Denver seems to do that with most dinner items but the sauce wasn't bad. Called Bocaza to see about getting a replacement with the carne. They accused me of eating JUST the meat off and am trying to essentially scam them for more food. Get out of here. Brought the food in to show proof, they still claimed I ate the meat (again, why would I eat just the meat?). Having to argue over some nachos is ridiculous. It was ok. I got the burrito $13 with 3 toppings pico corn and cheese and a bottled water $3. They charge $1 for each topping on the burrito so with pico, corn, etc it can get expensive. I really wanted fajitas but they said they close in 45 minutes and looked like they were cleaning up the kitchen so I had to get what was in the assembly line. I was the only customer there. The taste of the food wasn't that good and the chicken looked like it had been sitting out for a while. I don't think I would go here again, unless I needed something super quick. read more

Thankfully while we were there, we are the last patrons since they decide to close early due to the July 4th Celebration. Time was about 19:35hrs ish. We ordered our food/beverages at the counter. We opt for these items from the Menu : * Steak Tacos ($5.59) * Steak Burrito Smothered with Sour Cream ($5.59) + ($1.09) + ($0.50) * 2 Bottled Drinks ($1.75) each hence ($3.50) * Large Fountain Drink for Hubs ($1.49) The staff behind the counter was indeed accommodating and inviting. While at the counter ordering, we can opt the kind of ingredients to be put in our order. There is a SELF-Service salsa/sauce counter available in which I so wish the salsa or the sauces provided could be spicy for my personal taste bud. Our food came out piping hot and made to order, the service was fast. As for the food, its A-OKAY for our taste bud. I so wish the Tacos I had to have more flavor. Since both our order contain "Steak", as the main protein, it seems what they put in the Tacos tasted similar to the Steak Burrito. To return, its a maybe when time and schedule permitting. Went with the grande breakfast burrito which has bacon, ham, chorizo, eggs, potatoes and green chile. The food was cooked and stored like an assembly line similar to Panda Express or Chipotle. You could customize your breakfast burrito if you wanted. Overall I thought the food was ok and tasted fresh. Was lightly seasoned and not anything to write home about.
