The food was good, it just took a while to come out. I guess since it was a Sunday morning, it was a bit busy as well. We had some coffees and they were both great. I enjoyed the overnight oats which had pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes and some dried banana chips. It was very healthy and filling. My brother had the waffles which had berries and a vanilla bean creme! We obviously were too excited and didn't get a chance to take a pic prior to eating. Overall, we had a nice time here and will probably be back but on a different day where it's not too busy. I love their menu here! There is an absolutely amazing variety of delicious sounding sandwiches, wraps, salads, and breakfast options. Not to mention the amazing looking pastries and coffees when you first walk in. I ordered the steak sandwich and have no complaints. The vegetables were roasted perfectly, the bread had a great toasted crunch to it, and there was a good amount of steak in my sandwich. In addition, the sauce that they put on the bread was so good! The portion size was great and I find the price point here to be pretty fair (~$21 after tip). It was really busy when we came in but there was still some seating open for us and we were seated right away. The food came out quickly and the staff is very friendly. There's an easy parking lot right next to the restaurant, there's ample seating, and the food is pretty good and quick in terms of service. The cutest little cafe in town! Love the decor and they also sell merchandise that they've collaborated with Martha Stewart. It does get busy, it is a smaller cafe. So at the entrance you can order prior to seating. We opted for to-go, so we waited at the display case in the front where you can see all the pastries and coffee selections. There were so many good items, with vegan and gluten free options too. We ended up ordering a chocolate chip cookies which really great. Crisp on the outside and chewy soft on the inside. Came for brunch and what a cute little spot tucked in the middle of South Miami. We ordered the Pepe's breakfast bowl which was a flavor explosion - my fiancé personally enjoys simple dishes so this felt like a lot for her but for me i loved all the different textures and flavors. The fresh arugula was a nice addition to the heaviness of the fats from the bacon and eggs, lots of potatoes in this dish, it could have had half of them removed and added an extra egg. That's my only con here was that it was only a singular egg. I got the estee's bacon egg & cheese which was insane as far as flavor, so tasty!! BUT it was dripping down my hands with oil, too much oil, where did it even come from? It felt like an exaggeration of oil and i felt a little gross afterwards which sucks because the flavor was there. I both had iced lattes which we both really enjoyed - great coffee flavor! But the real deal..was the classic chocolate chip cookie! Holy cow it was perfection. Not overly sweet, crispy edges, gooey center, big chocolate chunks, everything you would ever want in a chocolate chip cookie. I would come here over and over again for these cookies. Service was ok, a little slow but i suppose due to busy brunch service. I came here for lunch today with a friend. It was very busy when we arrived at 1pm on a Saturday. We had to wait for a table for about 5 minutes. It was hard to choose something. Everything on the menu looks great! My friend ended up ordering the green goddess salad with chicken and I ordered the Agethe's Mediterranean tabbouleh salad (there's no tabbouleh in it). We both ordered the red citrus and berry tea. We both ate our entire salads. They were fresh and delicious! I loved the tea too. For dessert we split the "Kitchen sink cookie". Super yummy. The waiter was so nice and attentive. He even gave me a chocolate chip cookie because it was my birthday! The interior is very nice. Clean, bright, lovely blues and whites. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be back soon. Next time I want to try the Ratatouille eggs. They're only available on the weekends. read more

I looooove maman and am obsessed with both their matcha (they have pistachio milk and vanilla lavender syrup) and my fav croissant of all time - chocolate pistachio. This maman is on the corner and was actually super packed for a Friday morning. It's one of those moments where you wonder what everyone's job is as everyone was mostly here chatting and enjoying breakfast. Although it was packed, I was able to find a seat. I've only been to two other mamans and this one might be my least favorite for layout but it was still cute and I had a comfy place to sit. This is an excellent little cafe that's great for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, especially if you can get a table outside. The interior feels cramped when every table is full, and the food and service here is good enough to keep it packed during peak hours. However, if you're hungry in the morning and just want to grab one of their excellent pastries and coffee, proceed inside and pick from the display case. The coffee here is great, whether you just get an Americano, espresso, or any other crafted hot or cold coffee drinks. They offer alternative milks for those unfortunate souls cursed with lactose intolerance. Check out the pictures I posted for the pastries I tried at 11AM on a Sunday morning. The Almond croissant, the pistachio croissant, and the Kouign Maman (a play on the traditional (Kouign Annan) were all excellent. The cookies caught me off guard. Wow! I get overwhelmed with many options lol) I definitely want to return again for a proper sit down brunch meal, I love that this is located in the heart of South Miami. Was excited to go to Maman since I had previously tried them at an elite event earlier this year. But, my excitement was not met with the expectations I had! First of all, I'm giving it 3 stars for the beautiful space that it is. And for it being close to me in South Miami. I love the plates, which I thought were actually from France but they're made in China. Ok no biggie, keep going... We tried the Cranberry/orange croissant roll and the chocolate hazelnut babka and they were both just ok. Not sure if the croissant role is supposed to be more dense than a regular croissant but I did not like it. It was too thick, too dry and bland. I did not taste too much of the chocolate hazelnut flavor in it. The cranberry / orange was a little better as far as the flavor but it was still dry and too dense. I need my croissants to be buttery and flaky or soft. We ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk that again was really bland. Was not satisfied with our 3 tries. Not sure if I would return to try other things since there are other French bakeries in my area. This being my least favorite. The service was good. The lady that took our order was pleasant. It's near Sunset place where the old Dr. Smood location was in the corner. Again, if you don't mind flavorless, dense pastries than this is your place. I'm skipping over to another one. At $5 a cookie I was disappointed as I have had better Maman experiences. As the cookie is their signature item you would expect a bit more care. Be sure and download their app for deals and notifications about new menu items like their limited edition fall treats. The place was packed for brunch but the service seemed smooth because of the number of servers available. We were promptly seated and a gentleman who seemed to be the manager took our orders. We ordered the quiche Lorraine, which come with a side salad: the chicken wrap and the breakfast bowl with an extra egg. We also shared an order of the cene fraîche pancakes.
