Ordered and waited for our regular delivery. After an hour we called and were told to come get it if we want it. "The delivery guy is out"... Why not simply say there are delivery issues when taking the orders? Why not CALL after an hour saying hey, your food will be cold, but you can come get it and we can give you attitude. The customer is always wrong. It is your fault for ordering here. After walking to pick up the cold food, the very important person behind the counter could not have cared less or been ruder. The workers are pleasant- fluent in English and Spanish- and serve with a smile. I usually call ahead of time and pick it up since it will take about 20 minutes for all the empanadas to be cooked. There are so many empanadas to choose from! Varying from sweet/dessert fillings to savory ones, there's so many options. My 2 goto ones are the beef and potato or the chili one. The beef and potato is milder, and has a lot of potato whereas the chili one has more of a spicy kick. They have 2 sauces to choose from, the verde and the rojo. Personally, I prefer the green one because it's spicy whereas the other one is really creamy. I wish they had the chili in regular wheat instead of just corn because the corn one is a bit too dense for me, and can be a bit tough and chewy. Empanadas were decent, but they take forever to make!!! Quoted time: 10-15 min. Actual time: 45 min. It wasn't even a large order! (Ordered only 6 empanadas). I don't mind waiting, but there's nothing that pisses a customer off more than giving erroneous wait times. Oh and they call numbers at random. I got a similar size order as someone else and they called her number before mine. I get that they have a lot of large orders but waiting more than 10-15 min for a small order is pretty ridiculous no matter how busy you are. If that's the case, either hire more staff or figure out a better system for taking orders. If I hadn't already paid, I would've walked out after the 20 min. mark.
