The line can get backed up here. I was lucky to beat the rush but had to wait bit also. It's just two workers doing everything and when they are this good, it's easy to get backed up. Very good price to the size of the sandwich. Flavor profile is spot on

These are some amazing people that put a lot of love into everything they make. I enjoy the different specials they offer throughout the year, especially the mooncake for mid-autumn festival. I love their graphic of the person riding a dragon and gives the place a fun ambiance. I am not a huge fan of Vietnamese food but really wanted to try their peanut bowl. It was so delicious and such a good price for the portion you get. I also tried the taro egg rolls which I enjoyed. As well as the vietnamese iced coffee, which I didn't know what to expect but found to be quite delicious and addictive.

We got the curry chicken banh mi and it was amazing! I've never had a curry banh mi so this item instantly caught my attention. This shop is a food stall inside the food court with plenty of sitting area. The bahn mi is also HUGE. We shared one with two people and that was the perfect amount. However, if you are really hungry you can easily finish one yourself.

Ordered the Peanut Bowl after I saw an employee making one. So glad I tried it! The tofu had just the perfect bite and the combination of everything was delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty. I definitely want to come back and try more of their menu items. Can't wait!

After browsing our options at the food hall, my husband and I decided we wanted to try this spot. We tried the Marco Polo Banh Mi and Bao Bun. Both were delicious. The Bao Bun was unlike others I've had and I absolutely loved it. I'd happily go back for more.

Located in the center of Salt City Market you gotta say hi to Mamma Hai, something I have now done regularly. They have a small menu which usually has a choice of sandwiches or noodles, and some sides, such as taro rolls, or other specials which rotate. My go-to is the Bun Thit, a refreshing rice noodle and grilled pork salad with lettuce, herbs, and a sweet fish sauce dressing. The Bun Thit has been bright and light on hot CNY summer days, and a trip to someplace warmer on a cold days. As with most of their menu, there is a vegan version of Bun Thit available. Service is always friendly at Mamma's. Like the rest of the market you pay and then they let you know your food is ready with a buzzer.

Wanted to sample an item from here when visiting the market and decided on the Taro Egg Rolls and they were delicious! Great flavor and when I grabbed them to take back to my table, I asked if it came with a dipping sauce and the owner said no, bc it would take away from the flavor and it did not need anything at all. I wish I had one right now! Can't wait to go back and try more food from this place.

What a delight... Located in salt city market we received service with the hugest smile! They offer three varieties of bánh mì sandwiches - we opted for the vegetarian and would highly recommend it. Great pickled vegetables, a little bit of heat all on the perfect roll. In addition to the bang mi- they also offered fried spring rolls which were different than any we had before but really tasty. Takes a little bit of time to get your food once you order so use that opportunity to walk around and see what else the market has to offer

Delicious. Was on a road trip and didn't realize it was downtown and a bit harder to park. But, it was worth it. Fresh. Delicious. I did the pork noodle bowl. The pork was cooked beautifully and cut to order. None was left. So good!

Peanut Noodle Bowl and Vietnamese Coffee

The Peanut Noodle Bowl was SO yummy, I think they prepared the tofu perfectly according to flavor and texture. I'll definitely be back for more. The Vietnamese coffee was also good if you're looking for something sweet! The food was out quickly and the person who took my order was very friendly!

The flavors in the bun thit bowl are perfect. The smokiness from the pork comes through perfectly while the lightness from the mint and sauce make this dish refreshing and not too heavy. I also got the taro egg roll which was so wonderfully crisp! The staff were nice and helpful and my friend and I got out food pretty quick. My friend got the peanut noodle bowl and said it was delicious, not too heavy on the peanut butter so the noodles were still refreshing and delicious.

Vegan peanut noodles with tofu on the left Vegan pho on the right Super delicious

This is the best Pho I ever had. I've had meat based pho before and this place's Vegan pho is even better than that. The owners are so kind and nice! I have a splendid time every time I come here. It's my favorite spot at salt city market.

When Pad Thai popped in my brain, I began my hunt for a restaurant to appease my craving. I have heard great things about Vietnamese Noodle House. I haven't been there since I was a child, and we went to the North Syracuse location. My sister and I headed over to the Camillus location for dinner. From the outside, the restaurant is kind of unassuming. You cannot see in from outside, and to my surprise, it was bustling in the dining room! There is a beautiful mural on the wall and I really loved the cozy, well-decorated feel of the restaurant. I wanted Pad Thai, of course, but I also wanted to have something else! I've had Bahn Mi before and was excited to introduce it to my sister. The sandwich was a really good size for the price. The chicken was nicely flavored, as were the pickled veggies, and the cucumber and carrots added a perfect balance to the French bread. The Pad Thai was exactly what I needed - great amount of crushed peanuts, large pieces of chicken, and a sweet and savory sauce. We also ordered dumplings. They had options for steamed/fried and pork/veggie. We had steamed pork dumplings. It was a joy to add the chili crunch and dip them in the delicious accompanying sauce. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The total, including sodas, came out to around $40 which I found to be reasonable for how much everything costs right now! I can't wait to bring others to Vietnamese Noodle House and share the great experience with them.

Phenomenal food!…read more We're in Syracuse for a conference, and didn't want to spend a fortune for mediocre food at the conference hotel, so we set out to find a good local spot via Yelp. Su Su Dim Sum came up at the top of the list, so off we went. I ordered a small (pint) of hot and sour soup and lamb with scallions. My wife ordered tangerine beef, and then we ordered red bean paste steamed buns to go for breakfast tomorrow. The soup was thick, full of chunks of tofu, plenty of vegetables, a little less peppery and a little less pungent than we like, but still better than typical Chinese restaurant fare. A bowlful of fried noodles came on the side. A great start! My wife, a veterinarian, suspected that the lamb was actually beef, but that question aside, the lamb dish was delicious, with plenty of meat, chunks of bell pepper, and abundant scallions, in a delicious sauce. The star of the night was the tangerine beef, lightly breaded and perfectly fried, in a savory and slightly sour sauce. A few broccoli florets, a handful of tangerine segments, and a wonderful thick sauce completed the dish perfectly. We packed up the leftovers, collected the steamed buns, and headed back to the hotel. We grabbed some menus to give to fellow conference attendees when they ask where we went out to dinner.

We love dim sum so we looked up the local places that served it & found Su Su. The space is simple & I believe it may have once been a diner at one point in time. Listen here listen here , I can't believe I've been here so many times and never left a review!…read moreMitsuba is hands down my favorite poke spot in the Syracuse area. I always get the salad base and my mom usually goes with the noodles -- and let me tell you, they never miss. This time, I think our bowls got mixed up a little, and mine ended up with some ah tuna. I've always been hesitant to try it since I usually stick to cooked seafood, but it was actually so good! Flavorful, fresh, and the texture was way better than I expected -- honestly, similar to shrimp. If you like shrimp, you'd probably enjoy this too. For toppings, I went with shrimp, mango, crab meat, corn, chili flakes, and a few other things (I even snapped a pic of my order card because I can never remember everything!). The poke bowls are always fresh, flavorful, and customizable, and I love that you can watch them chop everything right in front of you. This visit I also tried the crab rangoons -- they were a little too crunchy for me, and my little one even said the same (and she usually loves rangoons). My mom tried the chicken wings, which were good, but I'll personally be sticking to the poke bowls because they are the star here. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is super friendly, and the quality is consistently top-notch. If you're looking for poke in Syracuse, this is the place. Five stars for the poke bowls, no question! They do sell all type of bubble drinks as well.
