Pepper steak with cheese whiz and provolone

Discovered this food truck a few months ago and have gone to find them multiple times since. Even worth the drive from Anchorage to Girdwood when they are parked there some days. Best cheesesteak I have ever had by far !!!!!

Went to a company picnic this last Saturday 6/22 and was so happy Mammoth Cheesesteak was one of the food trucks! The food and staff are Amazing had a smile on their faces in the hot weather we were having! I highly recommend their sandwiches and fries. I'll definitely be a long time customer.

Finally got to try Mammoth! They were parked outside Cynosure on 3/5. First things first: these ain't cheap! You pay $17 for a 7 inch or $20 for a 10 inch. I think the pricing is designed so that $20 doesn't seem like a lot for a sandwich, you'll think "but I'm getting almost 50% more for only $3!" I think a 7-inch would be enough for most people. Even for someone like me that is "always hungry". Anyway, these sandwiches are big, burly, greasy, and GOOD! You won't leave this truck hungry! Service was also great, and their buzzer system worked flawlessly. Now excuse me while I go work off this bread-n-beef bomb.

The name fits the sandwiches. Yes, your heart will race once you're given your total, but I assure you, you definitely get what you pay for here. I first discovered this food truck summer 2021 at the Craft Brew Festival Summer Edition on the park strip. They had the longest lines throughout the entirety of the festival. I made a mental note that I had to experience them eventually. For the most part, they are located in a nostalgic area for me. Dowling where I lived during HS, and Potter Rd. where I lived as a newlywed. Super convenient location, viewable from both sides of the road. Mammoths truffle fries are homemade. They taste bomb even after warming them in the microwave. The cheese curds are truly elite. The sandwiches are huge, filling and flavorful. Bravo, Mammoth!

Came by for National Cheese Steak day! Completely Satisfied, some of the largest and flavor packed PCS I've had in a long time. Watch their calendar to see when they are available. Have been here 3 times for the Curds ooohhhhhh so GOOD!!!!!!! To be honest I've stopped by on the previous 2 day to study and practice for Today's Event. Will be my go to for these items. Btw Cheese Curds in pictures are only About 1/3 of actual order as I munched them on way home.

This sandwich is huge! Make sure you are extra hungry before you head over. This sandwich is heavy and they don't leave out any filling. You can defiantly tell this is some great quality meat and fillings. Wish they were able to toast it a bit so it isn't too soft. I'm usually able to eat a lot but this sandwich lives up to its name! Mammoth Cheesesteak doesn't mess around. The cheese curds are pretty tasty and have a bit of a squeak to it! The fires are perfectly cooked but they had a bit too much salt on it for me. Defiantly one of the better places I've had a cheesesteak at here in town.

There is no 6th star on here but I would select it if I could. Mammoth Cheesesteak is consistently amazing and hands down the BEST cheesesteak in town and surely the state. If you haven't tried them, you are sorely missing out. I highly recommend the cheese whiz (go light if you must) and the candied jalapeños! . And don't forget the truffle fries or garlic cheese curds to go with... The only downside to Mammoth is that eventually you will either get too full to finish, or if you have a hollow leg, you might finish and will be sad you don't have more. Ingredients are always fresh and made to order. I can't say enough. Great people, great food and value. You won't be sorry.

Best Cheese Steak I've ever had.

Good food but over priced, not the best cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. The bread is super thick, and the sandwich as a whole is average

Fantastic Phillies! The food is fresh and meat is made of ribeye! One Philly can easily feed two people.

The board stating the wait time was accurate. I only waited 5-10 minutes. I ordered the spenard burger and a regular cheeseburger with fries. The fries were dead cold (only drove to eat maybe 2 minutes) if I were eating in house I would have asked for new fries. The burgers were actually pretty good nothing wrong with them. The menu is kind of all of the place and a lot of reading. The staff was very nice but standing around in front with nothing to do because it was so dead in there. The floors were pretty sticky too so I stayed on the carpet while waiting. Around $35 for two burgers and dead cold fries.

Restaurant is Located on the corner of Diamond and ARCTIC Boulevard but We ordered via DoorDash…read more they offer gluten-free buns so I decided to call regarding the occasion seasoning to make sure that it also was gluten-free since it seems to be used on everything. And it is. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable and reassured me although the fries would be cross contaminated so this would not be a celiac friendly restaurant. Although I neglected to ask about the teriyaki sauce on the Aloha burger. Maybe next time. I ordered the sweet Charlotte burger on gluten-free bun and added minced garlic and an order of small Cajun fries, which all came $29.60. The burger was good still on the fence about the bun. I've had it before at another restaurant. I think there's this after dryness if that makes sense. They definitely did not use Franz bakery, gluten-free buns. the fries were well seasoned still slightly warm from the delivery although we don't live that far. I ordered a pineapple milkshake with pineapple. I added it flavor and that cost me $8.45 although it was good it's a very light pineapple flavor but you can tell that it is pineapple. However, the size of the milkshake doesn't warrant THAT price. My husband ordered the RLE Hello burger and that Pápi was huge! He said it was all right. So for him nothing write home about, but it was filling. Would order it again though @a whopping $25.35 price tag. The small beer battered onion ring was actually pretty large for $7.80. Would hate to see what the large $16.90 onion rings look like. And he ordered a Mexican Coke for $5.20. Total through DoorDash with tip came to $90.22. A bit much for two burgers, but we are full.
