The spare pillow. Thank goodness my daughter brought one from home.

I know that MRB can't make owners purchase TV'S from this century and I have no trouble ignoring the cartridge tape player in the entertainment center or lack of TV in the bedroom, but they are responsible for cleaning the room. The filth in our condo was beyond anything I've ever walked into. Stained mattress, stained pillows, extra blankets are not stored in plastic. They don't vacuum the old carpet very well so bring slippers because walking barefoot on this filthy carpet feels disgusting. If you have a problem with dust, don't come at all, it's everywhere. Did I mention that there were only four hangers in the closet? Two plastic and two old wire hangers. There isn't a dresser, but you can use the night stand drawers. We found a mattress cover in the closet, so put it on the mattress ourselves.

Extremely dirty, stained, run down rental units

Lowest rates for condos in Mammoth. Excellent service and do not charge for extra guests. We always stay here!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this well-kept, cozy, charming, comfortable town home.

It was our first time staying as we used to stay in the village but we have our Molly now so we wanted a dog friendly place. The "bad" reviews had me a little worried but from the moment we arrived through the morning we had to head home it was amazing! Everything! Ross, Dave, Aldo, Mike and I know I'm missing some but they were all the best! Great personalities and so helpful and personable! We had one day with no power as the electric company was working on something above and Ross called to let us know the day before. We were fine and just kept the refrigerator closed all went sightseeing down 395 all day but they offered to charge any devices in the lodge if need be etc. The continental breakfast was perfect and delicious. Great choices. We had a kitchen in our room as we do like to cook so we did not try the restaurant for lunch or dinner this time but we enjoyed a cocktail. We loved the cabin itself from the fireplace, the bedrooms and two different bathrooms and the kitchen had everything we needed to the lakes so close for Molly. My daughter's paddle board was perfect there. There were short hikes, longer hikes or just a walk on the path to walk along also close to our cabin. We've already booked our week for next summer and are looking very forward to it! Thanks for a wonderful vacation Tamarack Lodge!! The LaCasa family!!

I came in here around 11am, however, their restaurant doesn't open until noon. There is a really nice lounge area where there are two fireplaces, jazz playing and a really cozy space to just relax. I just came here both days resting between XC sessions, ate some lunch I brought, had some water and just chilled out. Id definitely love to return and have a cocktail here and hang out here with a special someone, flirting the night away, plotting some clandestine tryst (maybe a beautiful hike into the mountains behind - looking at stars, listening for wild animals) and deeply enjoying life, big grins, and making each day count. Id also consider staying here on my next return, the surrounding area is just gorgeous!

We stayed at Mammoth Mountain Inn for 4 nights during the week and, once again, it delivered…read moreexactly what we needed. The location is excellent -- less than a 5-minute walk to the gondola. They also offer ski valet right in the lobby, which makes the walk even shorter. Huge plus: boot dryers. Check-in was super easy, and we upgraded our room to one of their "condos." Just to set expectations: this isn't a full condo. It's essentially a hotel room with a small living area and a Murphy bed. Still comfortable and totally fine for what we needed. The best part of this hotel is that it's dog-friendly -- and truly dog-friendly. Any size dog, big or small, and there were dogs everywhere (including ours). There's a forested area behind the hotel that's perfect for letting your pup play in the snow. One downside: some guests don't pick up after their dogs, so there was dog poop around even though the hotel provides bag dispensers. Maybe adding more (or enforcing cleanup) would help. The price is good, the hotel is clean, but it is old -- very old -- and definitely showing its age. The hallway floors are uneven, the elevator makes some questionable noises, and nothing about it feels modern. That said, after skiing all day, the four hot tubs and heated pool are amazing and very much appreciated. I stay here for convenience, not luxury. The beds are comfortable, towels are clean, and that's honestly all we need. Plus, it's close to The Yodler, our favorite restaurant. We've stayed here many times before and will stay many times again.

Some really nice views of the Mammoth Mountain ski facility from this place! All the staff are very friendly starting right at check-in and helpful when we needed it. Overall, the facility is a bit dated, and some things could use repairing or replacement, but everything worked, was clean, and had a nice mountain chalet, feel to it. We ate at both restaurants located on the property, enjoying the yodeler by far the best! Outside hot tub and pool have great views of the mountain and the indoor hot tub tubs are for when it's too cold outside. Great access to outdoor activities at 8900 feet! It was nice to not be stuck in the town of Mammoth Lakes and up in nature! I would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit
