    Balcony cabin 9
    Siouxe D.

This place is adorable! Total old school cabin feel that reminds me of my childhood. Very, very clean, staff just couldn't be nicer and more helpful, full kitchens, wood burning fireplace, balconies on upper units, plenty of comfortable furniture and storage, indoor jacuzzi, free firewood, free WiFi, cable tv with DVD player, this place has it all! We will definitely be back!

This view is minutes away from your cabin! I can't wait to come back!

I searched Google for a pet-friendly hotel. This place - among others - popped up, but this one was further out than the rest. Based on the options available, I chose Cabin 9 - The Couples Cabin. It's perfect! Full kitchen, TV, Queen Bed, and plenty of room for the dogs to run around in the living room. As mentioned, their pet policy is setup for us dog lovers. They give a care package and appear to be understanding about accidents (mine are potty trained, so we're lucky). You might even see Dawn and Terry - the owners - walking their adorable pup. Dawn and Terry are extremely nice and make the booking process very easy. I've had so many bad situations due to lack of communication with other bookings, but everything about their process is awesome. Oh, and those cookies were amazing! The location is kind of off the main road, but very central to everything you want when coming to Mammoth and also everything you need when traveling. 10-15 minutes will get you hiking, shopping, or eating. Right up the street is a very nice walking trail (you can see one of the pictures I posted somewhere on here), which ended up being my morning route with the dogs. And, I guess the public transit is free! This will be my booking place whenever I come back to Mammoth. I really don't want to leave. Thank you for everything!

This is my first time at Mammoth and I am SO happy we chose Edelweiss. What a fabulous little place, Terry and Dawn are the NICEST, most helpful, kind and accommodating people, you feel like you're their one and only guest and the place is dog friendly! I absolutely love it here, we got the studio, which is small but totally perfect and has pretty much everything you need and has a fully stocked little kitchenette (dishes, micro, toaster, fridge, corkscrew, coffeemaker, etc). In addition to two of the best cookies we ever tasted, they also provided a welcome basket for our dog, complete with a ball, biscuits, bowls, blankie, placemat, towel and a sheet to protect people-bedding. Nico was thrilled! The location is great, red and grey line both stop here, and there are a bunch of trails right out the front door. Terry took time to explain all the best spots in town and I really appreciated that as a newcomer. We had a great time exploring!! I cannot wait to come back, can't imagine staying anywhere else! Thanks!

Kai with his dog care basket. And pretty much sat glued to the fire place for the duration of our trip.

We stayed in cabin 3 for three nights, with six people and one dog. Location: Nestled in a sleepy little nook of Mammoth, surrounded by what looked like a residential area. Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but only a cartwheel away from it all. 8 minutes from The village by car. 5 mins from Von's. There are also bus stops within a walk-able distance, but I can't say for sure because we didn't take advantage of it. It's supposedly free too. I know, I know. We had a 6 year old, okay? Skiing from 9am-3pm then making the wee one take the bus + walking = recipe for disaster. Lol. Anyways. Cabin: Nice little cabin with two bedrooms (furnished with queen beds), one bath, full kitchen, a pull-out sofa bed (sleeps 2) in the living, and wood burning fireplace. Heaters in each room, including a big buff one in the living room. Then another in one of the closets, which we kept in the bathroom. It was like the tropics of Philippines in there. Outside there are loads of parking spots, which makes it easy for the grown ups and lots of play area for the poochies and kiddies. Customer service: Upon arrival the humans are greeted with milk choco chip/white choco chip with nuts(? I don't remember, lol as I annihilated them too quickly), and pooches get a care basket to use during their stay there. Cleaning spray, couple of treats, a blankie, poop bags, ball, etc. Really, stellar customer service. Besides bribing you with cookies, any questions or concerns that came up were immediately addressed and resolved. All the way from we have no idea what we're doing here to smoke alarm needs new batteries. We had bought crummy snow cables last year and had to use them this trip. Needless to say I was scared of plowing through a parking lot and a half then falling into a ravine. Hosts didn't know anything about chains (cause they had AWD like everyone in Mammoth does) but kindly enough called AAA for me and was able to find a service I could call. I'm still alive, so, yay! Highly recommend and would stay here again next time we visit Mammoth. Pricing is fair with what you are getting.

Cute little lodge located in mammoth. Went up to mammoth for engagment pictures and was looking for a dog friendly place. We wanted to stay somewhere away from the city but not a hotel. (our first choice was a campground but those were full) Luckily we came across this spot! It was a cozy peaceful getaway. The room was super clean and being dog friendly it did not smell like dog. Would reccomend this spot if you need a place to stay in mammoth!

Edelweiss Lodge was so cozy and comfortable. Our lodge was warm and had a little Christmas tree in our room. It was lit with white lights and really added such a nice touch. We will definitely be staying here again. Dawn (owner) gave us some recommendations and none of them disappointed. She gave us hiking recommendations, eating suggestions, and even updated us on mammoths upcoming events. So happy I found Edelweiss Lodge.

Great time with our family. We will definitely be back again! The cabin was cozy and the kitchen was perfect to cook a delicious meal for my family. We also enjoyed the snow falling and the views from the window. We left very pleased.

When we told her what we were looking for she immediately suggested condo #63. It was perfect! I received timely communications. They send you a link to your registration portal. Make sure you click on this link - everything you need to know is in this portal! St. Anton's - was quiet. The condo was beautiful. The Bobby Flay pans were awesome! The St. Anton maintenance guy was super helpful (help us carry our ice chest down the stairs) and a hard worker! The only downfall was they were replacing the roof but we already knew that was happening. One suggestion-St. Anton needs to use a solar panel system to heat the pool. It is an ice bath year round. No one can enjoy the pool at any time of the year! Mammoth gets pretty warm in the summer. NoMadness- The check-in/check-out process was easy. The keyless entry was a plus. I liked not worrying about a key. Upon check in, there was an energy cookie and a visitors guide. We didn't have any issues with the condo, so I didn't have to contact them throughout our stay. At the end of our stay, they offered us a late check out. The text came at 6pm. I immediately answered. The text said they would respond during business hours. I figured they were closed. Someone immediately texted back and said we were given late check out permission. Overall, we were so happy with our experience. We never wanted to leave.

OWNER BEWARE -- UNAUTHORIZED ACH DISPUTE, MONTHS OF LOST REVENUE, AND EXCESSIVE FEES…read more My experience with Nomadness Rentals was an absolute nightmare. They left my newly prepared Mammoth Lakes property effectively unadvertised and without a single paid booking for more than three months, despite my repeatedly asking why the listing was not live and what they were doing to generate reservations. While my property sat vacant and I lost substantial rental income, Nomadness continued charging me for setup, inspections, lock installation and programming, maintenance coordination, subscriptions, cleaning-related requirements, and other fees. The worst part was a $1,817.17 ACH debit from my bank account that I formally disputed as unauthorized. My position has consistently been that the account was provided to receive owner payouts--not for Nomadness to withdraw whatever charges it chose. Owners should be extremely cautious about giving this company access to a checking account and should require written approval for every single expense. In my experience, their business model appeared far more focused on generating recurring and mandatory fees from property owners than on successfully marketing and renting the property. Owners are pushed to purchase equipment, install specific items, use designated services or contractors, pay upfront setup costs, and continue paying recurring fees--even when the company's actual performance is extremely poor. I personally found these practices deceptive, predatory, and completely unacceptable. After months of delays, zero paid occupancy, disputed charges, and lost revenue, I had no confidence that Nomadness was acting in my best interest as the property owner. I strongly caution all property owners--particularly first-time vacation-rental owners, elderly owners, or anyone who may not closely examine every invoice and bank transaction--to review every contract provision, preserve every email, refuse open-ended ACH authorization, and demand written approval before any charge is incurred. Based on my documented experience, I would never trust Nomadness Rentals with another property, another bank account, or another dollar. Avoid this company.

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. I would 110% stay here again and recommend the chalets to all of my family and friends. This was such a wonderful find. Thank you for the awesome stay Mammoth Mountain Chalets! :)
