When we told her what we were looking for she immediately suggested condo #63. It was perfect! I received timely communications. They send you a link to your registration portal. Make sure you click on this link - everything you need to know is in this portal! St. Anton's - was quiet. The condo was beautiful. The Bobby Flay pans were awesome! The St. Anton maintenance guy was super helpful (help us carry our ice chest down the stairs) and a hard worker! The only downfall was they were replacing the roof but we already knew that was happening. One suggestion-St. Anton needs to use a solar panel system to heat the pool. It is an ice bath year round. No one can enjoy the pool at any time of the year! Mammoth gets pretty warm in the summer. NoMadness- The check-in/check-out process was easy. The keyless entry was a plus. I liked not worrying about a key. Upon check in, there was an energy cookie and a visitors guide. We didn't have any issues with the condo, so I didn't have to contact them throughout our stay. At the end of our stay, they offered us a late check out. The text came at 6pm. I immediately answered. The text said they would respond during business hours. I figured they were closed. Someone immediately texted back and said we were given late check out permission. Overall, we were so happy with our experience. We never wanted to leave.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. During a 3-night stay, we experienced numerous maintenance failures and extremely poor support. This unit is clearly not well maintained. The first night, the circuit breaker tripped and we lost power and lights in most of the unit for 12 hours. I called and messaged repeatedly and could not get help. Cooking in pitch black wasn't easy. There was no after-hours emergency number on their voicemail at the time (this appeared only AFTER the incident when I complained). I requested compensation and received none. I was even told there were "no issues," despite being on the phone during business hours and receiving verbal instructions on how to fix it myself. This involved first finding the circuit box outside, then resetting the switches & GFI buttons inside. Finding the unit was also unnecessarily difficult. It's in Building G. We searched for 45 minutes in the dark. This information is buried under "Amenities" instead of being included with check-in instructions. When I pointed this out, I was treated like I was the problem. Additional issues included a TV that randomly stopped working (outlet broke), an extremely finicky furnace (we fixed a broken wire), a broken wall heater, an unsafe and unusable couch bed (claiming it is 'fine' should reflect their standards) pellet bags piled in the living area, flimsy fixtures, a shower door that wouldn't close, and loud furnace/vent noises at night. They want to argue with me because they say it's an easy fix. Well this isn't my house. All I know is the power is out and I have no help in the dark. Don't know where the box is don't know the switches. Plus this was fun- they had a lock in the circuit box! No accountability. Bottom line: poorly maintained unit and terrible management. Their response below alone has been just as dismissive as they have always been. Beware

Upon arrival there were dirty shoes like at the entrance, dust in the vents, spider webs, and hair left on the sink. I reached out to your customer service number, which I know is on a recorded line, so please refer back to the phone calls placed at 4:39 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. I spoke with Will Martin both times. Never once was I or my husband rude to him. We were unsatisfied with the state of the home and were told the housekeepers had to come and see the extent of the concerns. We agreed. The entire house smelled "stale" and of cigarettes. As if no one had cleaned the home or vacuumed in months. I called again to ask what the ETA is of the housekeepers. And once again Will Martin was extremely rude and unprofessional. I politely asked to speak to someone else since I was unsatisfied. He said there was no one and that I just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. So again I asked to speak to someone else and was denied. I asked for his name to file a complaint because never once was I hostile with this man. He said "would you like my birthdate as well" and proceeded to hang up on me. AS I AM CURRENTLY A GUEST STAYING AT THE PROPERTY HERE FOR ANOTHER TWO DAYS. I barely checked in an hour ago and have dealt with so much disrespect and unprofessionalism and never once was an apology given or accountability taken. I do expect a response or I will go ahead and take this up with my bank and continue elevating my complaint higher. How dare a business act in such a disgusting and malicious way. We are currently sitting in the car of the parking lot after housekeepers verbalized to us that no one had come to clean the property before since no one had been staying there all this time. Every other place on this street has adequate outdoor parking for a normal size truck. On top of that the heater doesn't even work properly in the unit I booked. 5 star has been no help. I would highly recommend never using Mammoth Five Star lodging at any of their properties. They're horrible. I've booked in mammoth 25-30 times this is by far the worst experience I've ever had.

Was never able to reach the host via VRBO because the email address I had when I used them several years ago was old and the website said there was a problem at their end so was never able to reach the host via vrbo using the email I had used to book the "house". Took several hours to reach a person at VRBO to get the address, directions and key to the rental. Info was sent by email. Very frustrating for a vacation.

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. I would 110% stay here again and recommend the chalets to all of my family and friends. This was such a wonderful find. Thank you for the awesome stay Mammoth Mountain Chalets! :)

Also an outdoor bbq at each place made dinner prep for our large group really easy. There is a ski rental place right in the village which was perfect and easy. Would definitely come back.
