There are about 25 vendors selling hand made crafts along with 1 food vendor and a popcorn vendor. Plenty of seating out by the water fountain to enjoy your food or just relax. For the kids they offer FREE pumpkin painting and it looks like the kids pumpkins are free as well. Speaking of FREE, they even have Free coffee, hot chocolate and hot apple cider. And it's hitting the spot on a cool Fall day. The bathrooms here at the pavilion are top notch. And they are super clean and well stocked with paper also! With plenty of parking and the quality of items offered this is a must attend event that I'll be looking forward to attending next year. Oh yea, those are portable heaters they put through out the pavilion also. (see pics) They sure do it up right at this craft fair!!!!

Artists Barrel is a unique and cool hand crafted Barrel and decor shop in the historic downtown…read morebardstown shopping district. The store is rather large and has several artists Whose woodwork and other crafts is featured in the store and sold for them. They have all kinds of cool and unique items in this store that vary in price depending on the artist. Some are rather high and others are fair priced. I personally walked away with two items form two different artists on my trip here. I purchased a university of louisville license plate decoration for my self and Burbon Barrel university of Kentucky coat rack for my brothers Christmas present. Overall I really enjoyed This shop. Was a fun browse and the lady working was very friendly and personable. They have lots of cool Bourbon Barrel decor and lots of cool university of Kentucky and Lousiville decor as well for the local college sports fans.

I was impressed with their layout and various items that I returned the next day to buy some souvenirs to give my family. Artists Barrel is easily located on North 3rd Street, just a couple of storefronts north of East Flaget Sreet. With parking plentiful and short walking distance from all points downtown -- bars, restaurants, and all, you can come to Artists Barrel for various odds and ends-type of purchases. In my visit to the Artists Barrel, I bought Kentucky hats for my Dad and Stepmother, a Kentucky hanging ornament and a bourbon scented candle for my Mom, and a pair of bourbon boxers for my Aunt. It was quite a joyous morning considering I was hoping to do all of my souvenir shopping at one spot and did so at Artists Barrel successfully. Overall, Artists Barrel had everything for what I was seeking during my trip to Bardstown.

You walk into what's essentially a throwback small town version of a cvs or Walgreens with some souvenir stuff, snacks and Knick knacks. In the very back they have an active and working pharmacy. In the other corner you have a 50s style throwback diner that pumps out burgers, dogs, root beer floats and ice cream cones all with counter top seating and couple table booths. Me and my family along with our friends family was in Bardstown for a mini day trip. Our party of 9 decided to grab a quick bite as we heard good things about this little diner. We placed our order and set on the counter top stools. We sampled the menu pretty good. Got everything. From burgers, chicken sandwiches , grilled cheese, chili cheese dogs, Ice cream floats, milkshakes and ice cream. Now unfortunately, our fun trip was struck short by a family tragedy. Right as my chili cheese dog and root beer float arrived my wife received a phone call informing her that her father passed away. The patrons and workers here (small place so no hiding anything) took notice of what was Happening and before she could get off the phone they was placing our food in to go boxes and cups and some super generous and gracious woman already paid for our bill and told us to get on our way as soon as possible so my wife could be with her mom and brothers. Everyone here was super kind and despite the devastating news it gave us some solace that there still was genuine good and caring people in this world. Because of this even If the food and pricing here was not good (which it was all very good and cheap from what we got to try) I was giving this place a 5 star. I scarfed my chili cheese dog down in like one bite while running out the door. That one bite was very tasty and my wife took two bites of her burger before the call and she said it was very good. We absolutely will come back. And I know it's a long shot (bardstown is a small town with little yelp representation) but if the lady who sprung into action before we could even think about it reads this we truly thank you (I wish I would of been of present mind to get an address or something to send a thank you card). Also a huge thanks to that staff who moved and acted quickly to get us on our way so we could be with the family. Truly left a lasting and positive impression that we will be eternally grateful for.

The name "This That & the Other" is really a perfect name for it, as a very wide assortment of things are offered. As the owner, who is so sweet, says, if you're willing to dig through some of the bins, you can find some really good and useful stuff. The owner graciously made an effort to separate out the selection into bins sorted by type of item. And at any point if you have any questions she is happy to answer. I ended up spending just over $40 for a bunch of good stuff, and I was very happily surprised at the value of everything. The inventory changes often, so I'm gonna have to increase my frequency of visits. Overall, really good experience here. I'll definitely be back, and you should check it out if you haven't yet! You may find something great.

Kentucky Derby Sports & Memorabilia has the largest selection of KY Derby glasses I have ever seen. Many in stock are very old and rare. They have sports memorabilia and gear also. The shop is stocked to the brim. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. You will certainly hear a story or two while you are there. I call before I go because sometimes the owner goes out to look at merchandise and it is a bit of a drive from my home base. It is almost like a memorabilia museum. Check it out if you are looking for something special.

The different courses were fun and kept you on your toes. Its a shame not a lot of people know about the business! The reason I gave the business 4 stars is that I called and informed them that there would be 11 of us coming and I was told we wouldn't need a reservation...we get there and we are told there's a group of 35 coming and that we should have made an reservation and they have to make sure they can get us in... which they did...but before we left we are told again, by the same female, that we should have made a reservation and to next time make a reservation... like she didn't believe us the first time we told her.
