I went for lunch & was pleasantly surprised that they include fresh Italian bread with a small serving of amazing eggplant and a soppressata (that my friend loved). They also brought olive oil & Balsamic vinegar. We started with the fried artichokes which were very good. Then I had the tagliatelle with pesto, cherry tomatoes & burrata. It was very good & I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked taglatelle - I wonder if it was freshly made. The warm lighting, cozy seating, and tasteful decor created a welcoming environment perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. Party of 6 today, April 21,2025 - Business Lunch. Service was great , waiter explained all specials, the busgirl/runner or, (commis di sala) was absolutely fantastic! kudos to her. She was the best part of the experience- quick and attentive and in top of every detail. The food was okay. We all ordered the Prix Fix menu - we all loved the appetizers and the desserts- not so much the pasta. The two types of pasta dishes ordered by us six: Rigatoni Bolognese and Cacio Pepe both just okay and swimming in oil. What shocked us all was the general managers actions, not once- but twice. This guy was either pissed off with the world or, having a really bad day. As the busgirl was quickly picking up all the plates (4 of the 6) he came over and snuck up behind my boss who was sitting inches from a wall and a plant next to a window- said nothing, not even a smile or eye contact and removed his plate, he also removed my coworkers full plate (which was full assuming she didn't want to take it home). I quickly told the busgirl to please rescue the leftovers this man had abruptly removed- she ran to the kitchen and rescued it. As if this rude unacceptable behavior wasn't enough, he did it again. After the table was cleared- the evoo, salt and pepper remained - once again, he walked over and removed them from the table without saying a word. Mind you we were all conversing - quickly changing the topic - all agreeing how rude this guy was. Never again will I return. Shame on you! read more

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner! The fried artichokes were lightly fried and crispy and the burrata and tomato salad were amazing. The shrimp and angel hair pasta is one of the best dishes I have ever had. Every bite was bursting with flavor. My branzino was delicious and came with lots of nice vegetables. My husband's veal Milanese was not as flavorful in my opinion but he enjoyed it. The vanilla gelato with warm strawberries was one of the best desserts I have had - so simple but amazing. The wine selection was very good and the espresso martinis were excellent. The lighting was slightly too dark and the sound definitely too loud but it was still a nice ambiance for a nice dinner out. Mamo is a new upscale Italian restaurant on Brickell Avenue in the heart of Brickell. It is a beautiful space - white walls with large posters, white tables cloths and lots of wait persons running to and fro serving customers. Service was excellent, friendly and informative and unobtrusive. The food is delicious - from the pizza appetizer to the pastas and rich sauces to the multiple fish and meat options. The Negronis are tasty and the wine list is extensive. Some Italian restaurants can be noisy and boisterous but not Mamo. It is quiet and relaxing and serves excellent food. read more

Amazing dinner experience, there is not one thing that we ordered that we would say is not worth ordering. We had the special pistachio burrata, beef carpaccio, roasted carrots, fried artichokes, and the truffle pizza for starters and absolutely all of them were phenomenal. The caccio e peppe pasta and the amatriciana are some of the best if not the best we have had in Miami, the steak and roasted potatoes are equally delicious as well and the desserts were just as amazing as the rest of the meal. The bartender knows what he's doing when making French martinis and aperol spritz's. This is definitely a must try spot, we will definitely be returning. My friends and I are so excited to have another NYC transplant in Brickell! The ambiance fits right in and the food has been amazing. I went back for the third time this past weekend, and while the food and service has been excellent every time, this time we experienced a very rude hostess. We were early for our reservation and were happy to wait at the bar, but we got a stern warning that "you shouldn't do this" and an attitude that we were unwelcome. There wasn't any urgency to try to accommodate a table and instead they made it very clear that they were annoyed. Mamo seems to have strived for perfection with their food and waitstaff, and I believe they should know that their hostesses are not on par with the rest of the restaurant. food is...fine. it's not classic italian, it's some kind of semi-modern take on high end italian, and it's a bit overworked. the flavors were good but everything was a bit too creamy or greasy or fatty in general. overall it was overpriced but not crazily so. the wine selection is mediocre and way overpriced. mainly though the service is just terrible. we sat for almost 30 minutes without seeing a server. i had to call across the otherwise empty restaurant (literally two tables were seated) to interrupt the staff who were just talking to each other to get someone to come over and take our order. not once did anyone ever come by our table to inquire if everything was ok after food was plated, for either course. the bartender basically couldn't be bothered to pour wine glasses for us. when we left no one said a single word to us. it was the most indifferent, disappointing service i've had in a while at a theoretically fancy restaurant. i would not go back. read more
