Hard to find as didn't realize it's under the Arlington hotel. The mocha one was best. Real good coffee flavor. The banana pudding was good. The biscof butter was too much and threw it away. The lemon was good and tart like an icebox. The dreamsicle was not close enough to real thing. Waffle cone was good but fragile. After walking around quite a bit, we finally figured out that Mamoo's Creamery was downstairs inside The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa. A nice front desk employee at The Arlington showed us the beautiful staircase leading down. When we got there, I honestly thought it was closed because of the low lighting and how unclean it was. A friendly young female employee quickly greeted us, only to inform us they didn't have this, didn't have that. It sure didn't seem like it was because there was such a crowd because we were the only humans present! This place boasts "the only homemade ice cream on bath house row." I sampled the Black Walnut and was not impressed. My root beer float ($7) was fine. My oldest daughter didn't really care for her Coke float ($7). I guess it's because she had her heart set on Dr. Pepper that they didn't have. My youngest had a single cup ($5) of Birthday Cake. She enjoyed it. One of our servers during the trip suggested we get ice cream at Mamoo's and we were not disappointed. I got the Mamoo's gold and white gold and they were delicious. I used to really like this place, used to be really clean, good varieties of ice creams and good spot to get some of the best dairy free ice creams. The last three times I've came here, it was rather dirty, old ice cream melted around the coolers, and more flavors not available than available. Cant tell you how many times I've come here and I bring a group every time, tonight was my last visit. This place has tumbled down hill for sure. Mamoo's Creamery is serving up some seriously delicious ice cream for the people of Hot Springs! It was so good, I had to go back and take a photo with the owner. The owner and his partner make all the ice cream themselves, it's the real deal. I had a scoop of the strawberry on a waffle cone (also made on site), and couldn't hold a conversation until I was done inhaling the entire scoop. It was so delicious, with a great rich texture and amazing flavor. My friend had vanilla and said the same. Mamoo is changing the ice cream game for this town! They've got roughly 18(?) flavors to choose from, and really you can't go wrong. The owner is so nice, and happy to help you narrow down choices so that you get the perfect scoop. The shop is located slightly below street level. It's a little hard to find because you have to go through a small lobby first, then another set of doors to the right. Mamboo's creamery was delicious. It was a little hidden from the sidewalk, so it took some detective skills to figure out where we needed to go. The address on Yelp was their previous place, so luckily there were signs directing us where to go. You have to walk downstairs of the little mall area and there it is. There weren't many people there, so we were served right away. The inside was cute, but small. They have seating right outside that is set up like an outdoor cafe but is inside the underground mall. I got the hazelnut chocolate, and it was heavenly. Rich, creamy, sweet, and nutty were the perfect flavor combination. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. Mamoo's is in the basement level of the Arlington. Their phone is in transition but they were very quick to respond on messenger. Nice long hours on a Sunday, too. We tried 2 vegan flavors and really liked them. They use a coconut milk base. Everyone else loved their ice cream. The service was great and fast. I'll start off by saying I am not a huge ice cream fan. They all taste the same to me. Except for the actually separate flavors of course. So ice cream has been always just ice cream. If it's there I'll eat it. But I won't go out of my way for it. Came to this place on a whim. The Ducky tours actually stopped us nearby this place. That cute sign in front of the shop stating they had the best ice cream in Hot Springs was promising lol. My baby sister saw this and went ballistics. Begging for ice cream and what not. So we walked in, each tried to find the best fit for our cones. Service was amazing! It's like these guys were ready to tackle it and help us find the best flavor. Need I mention I came with a family or 6? So that's a lot of work. They were very helpful with asking questions and recommendations. I ended up getting the cookie dough one. Well the blue Cookie Monster and I loved it. How does on explain how good ice cream is? Only downside is that it DOES STAIN YOUR TEETH. So don't go any where nice right after. Every time I walked by an ice cream parlor I HAVE to stop and try some and this one is DA BOMB!! Yo it's like home made legit creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted, there are like 20+ flavors to choose from and they are not your typical blue bell kind. The owner (?) (or just the girl behind the counter) is super friendly and she would've let me try every single flavor if I asked, I tried 4 and had I tried more I would have bought every one of them cause they are all so amazing. The coolest thing is she let me split the small serving (1 scoop) to 2 flavors, which not many other places do and the one scoop serving is humongous!!
