I enjoyed the ramen! So tasty and full of flavor. I loved the seaweed inside and the broth was so tasty. Very filling and tasty. The staff were amazing. I would improve the decor inside as it is a little outdated but not bad for a quick stop and go.

This place punches way above its weight class here in Santa Fe. I was a bit nervous bringing a visiting friend here since she's from Chicago and eats a lot of good ramen, but she loved her tonkotsu ramen and was also really into the red chile ramen I ordered. I've actually been here a couple times and also know that their karaage is very good. The service was also very friendly and considerate.

Ordered delivery-oh my gosh! It was so delicious! The broth had an amazing flavor and the spice added just what I was hoping for! I didn't dine in, order from their website which is setup nice! Oh my gosh, cannot wait to dine in!!

A very nice place that is serving up tasty ramen! I was greeted with upbeat and welcoming customer service. The ambiance is lively and modern! I ordered the curry ramen which came with jalapeños, tomatoes, curry broth, and delicious beef brisket! The flavors were beyond bold and soothing to the taste buds! This bowl of ramen was a nice way to end a very eventful day. Cheers to good eats!

A nice treat on a rainy day! I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. While I think it was overpriced I was satisfied with my ramen and hot tea. I switched out the Shoyo pork for brisket because I don't like super fatty meat. The chicken karaage was delicious and hit the spot while we were waiting for our meal. I'd like to come again and try some more of their menu.

OVERALL There really does exist a decent place for ramen in Santa Fe, New Mexico: Mampuku Ramen. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4 PARKING So I drove in from southeastern New Mexico on 11/22/2023. They have their own free small lot with spaces around back and on the side. LOCATION/AMBIANCE At first I didn't see it because a police officer had someone in custody in the lot nearby. It doesn't stand out from the road to be honest. It's a good place for a sit down meal for solos or small groups. Its minimal decorations and beautiful menus reeled me in. The main pitfall for me was the restrooms shared with a nearby business. The women's was unsightly and a bit rundown. THE GRUB + Black Tonkotsu Ramen ($15.95) was good. The broth was weak in flavor. The pork was only slightly tender. Still, it was enjoyable on a rather chilly day. + Iced Jasmine Tea ($3.75)... I requested it to go! The nice waitress brought me out a bottled tea and a coffee cup full of ice. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB Without my own kids with me, I didn't request a kid's menu not did I see one on the regular menu. SERVICE Really great! They got me seated and fed quickly! MY FAVORITE PART... The egg in my ramen bowl... mmm. Mmm good. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The pork could have been tender with richer broth. TIP Order online.

Oh no Naruto! I saw you and had to go here for lunch. So glad we did! Everything was great- charming server, oishi ramen and relaxing ambiance. I think I took pretty pics- look at them! Domo aregato. 4.6 stars!

Ramen in Santa Fe, NM?? Ya' betcha'!! Mampuku is located in a non-descrip area at 1965 Cerillos Road. And I'm not sure we would have known about this place except for the fortunate visit with local friends. Mampuku Ramen is a regular stop for these friends and I totally understand. We came in at their opening hour, warmly welcomed, and our party of five was settled quickly in a quiet alcove. The bright, quiet decor is both traditional and eclectic. They serve a ramen and Izakaya menu but we were there for the ramen. Independent of each other and without prior discussions, we all opted for the BLACK GARLIC TONKATSU RAMEN. A House-made pork bone broth with roasted black garlic oil, nori, green onions, bamboo shoots, Naruto fish cake, chashu pork, and a seasoned egg. This was a good vibe of what was to come. This has to be one of the best bowls of ramen I've had and this includes the San Francisco Bay area and Tokyo! The broth was deep, clean, and flavorful. You could taste and savor the time and care that went into the broth alone. The ramen noodles toothsome, the chashu pork, fish cake and egg, all perfect accompaniments to the ramen. With ramen, I normally order a salad, edamame and maybe gyozas but not this time. Ramen was enough. Seriously we left empty bowls, and with full bellies! We also ordered hot green tea and I enjoyed that we each received our own personal tea kettle. Mampuku is a definite must visit for a delicious bowl of ramen when in Santa Fe. Would love to try their Izakaya menu like a local-inspired Shrimp Stuffed Green Chile Tempura or other ramens like Red Chile or Naruto. As well as pork or Kim Chee fried rice and desserts like panko-breaded fried banana or mochi ice cream. They also have a sister location, Naruto, in Albuquerque. Will need to find my way there as well! This delayed Review is for a visit on Oct 28, 2023.

Whilst visiting a good friend in Santa Fe, we decided to have ramen for lunch. She took me to this amazing spot! Less than 10 minutes from downtown, you'll find this spot on Cerrilos Road and St. Michael's. Busy area!! Small restaurant but all the vibe! The service was great, and I left with a happy belly! This ramen was the bomb!

Happy Hour runs twice daily with reduced prices on food & beverages from 3-5p and 9-10p. They have an extensive sake menu categorized by flavor profile designed for pairings, along with a lean but modern wine list including detailed tasting notes. Japanese whisky and exotic green tea (try the kuki cha!) round out a full beverage program, and deep booths offer private views of the lush valley below. Chef Kiko Rodriguez offers a four-course tasting menu at an exceptional value for $65 - trying this or any of Paloma's suggestions from their fresh sushi menu (only restaurant in New Mexico with fish flown in from Japan daily) will surely please. Gloriously chilled tuna sashimi was thinly sliced cut with heat from fresh wasabi and a savory ginger shoyu. Hand rolls are served in pairs, and the spicy tuna was simple, elegant, and delightful - a perfect showcase of the freshest fish. Before switching to dessert, shaved ginger is also snappy and cleansing. I was absolutely mind blown by the Sakura Pannacotta - delicate and dreamy custard textured like chawanmushi with soft aromatic cherry blossom and the most delectable shortbread accent. Three light courses that were fully nourishing, absolutely satisfying, and delightfully delicious!

I went again today for a late lunch and enjoyed some aspects of the meal. For one, it was just me and two other tables who closed out right when I was walking in. I was quickly sat, and proceeded to have pretty slow service to start. Once a server finally came back around 5 minutes later, he brought some delicious spicy/sweet peanuts to start. Returned less than a minute later to take my order, then proceeded to have great service afterward.. let me start with the spicy baby cucumbers: pretty tasty and a large serving, however I didn't think they were that spicy. The chile oil used is mostly oily with some not so spicy Chiles used (that could just be my heat tolerance) but nonetheless, they were delicious. The hot tea was fresh and he brought it out with water, which I appreciated.. I was however slightly disappointed in the Dan Dan Noodles, I didn't take a picture just because it honestly was served not too appetizing or picture perfect like most of the previous reviews. Everything was mixed together, and the meat was all in the bottom under all of the noodles. The flavor was pretty good, but I didn't get the normal Szechuan flavor or spiciness that I've had in the past at other places. I do love the fresh noodles, but the overall dish was a little underwhelming. I would have liked it to be a little more presentable, along with more of a noteworthy flavor other than meaty broth with some chile oil (again more on the oily side not so much spice). Overall, the experience was decent and good service. I will come back to try something else and maybe it just wasn't a dish for me.

The goodness began with Naomi, who helped me fix an error in my reservation and get a table at a good time tonight. The goodness continued with our server Mitzi, who should be teaching graduate classes in hospitality in every big city. She was friendly without being overbearing, informative without being pedantic, subtle and gracious. Now, the food! My wife chose the vegetarian tasting menu and I had some of each dish: so very flavorful (a green salad with pears, a life-changing mushroom bisque [and I don't like mushrooms!], a chickpea croquette with pickled artichoke hearts and ratatouille, and a substitution of the lemon crepe for three yummy scoops of sorbet and gelato. I chose the scallops, perfectly cooked and moist, over couscous, and a dish of tasty sauteed baby spinach. A wonderful experience, and not overpriced, and everyone treated us sweetly. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.

Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.
