When they finally found it the paper had been sitting in their office for almost a month. Finally she is able to go to the appointment and when we're there they tell us that it had to be cancelled because they could not locate other paperwork from SDI. When she is finally able to see the doctor he does not even exam her just looks at her and says ok we'll complete the report. After we find out he reported she was fine and could return to work when she legitimately is barely able to walk! Again terrible terrible experience from the office staff to the doctor but from the looks of other comments, this is not an isolated experience.

On my first visit to Dr. Lai's office, he told me that I was a candidate for surgery. My left knee was giving me a lot of problems because I wasn't able to walk without a walker and was in pain most of the time. We're trying to switch pain management clinics at this point because every time we call, they tell us "we'll get back to you in 24-48 hours" and they never do. My mom has cancer. She's in pain constantly and they just dismiss her. We live an hour away from the clinic and have to drive there on non-appointment days just to make them do their jobs. Health care obviously isn't the career path for everyone, as shown by the staff working in this clinic. Also, for anyone else who is going to call that number the person who respond to reviews gives you, don't bother. It's just the number to the clinic where they dismiss you and refuse to transfer you to a higher up. They just take a message from you and nothing is ever done about it.
