When I told my physician this at my last appointment, he apologized, and then nothing changed. It is truly disappointing. For example, in order to book a procedure, the insurance department needed to submit a claim to my insurance. My insurance needed a list of all the conservative treatment (e.g., physical therapy) done before they approved the procedure. Rather than the CSSC office sending me an email or phone call to get this information, my insurance sent me a letter letting me know this. I called my insurance to ask if they had told the CSSC office this, and they said they communicated this with the office nearly 2 weeks before they got in touch with me. When I provided the necessary information to the CSSC office, specifically the person who handles insurance, I got no response. After trying to call the office and speak to the person handling insurance, she did not call me back. She emailed me back three weeks later. It was and continues to be truly disappointing.

Dr. Cheng is phenomenal!!!…read more I have been seeing him the last few months and each and every visit I felt calmer and he was extremely reassuring. It's absolutely the best having someone that actually cares about you and listens to you and asks you if you have any more questions ( we all tend to forget when we are in and a ball of nerves.) His expertise is out of the park with an outstanding kind, fun and friendly staff. I highly recommend using comprehensive Spine and Sports Center.I have nothing but wonderful things to say.

MedicinEvolution - It wasn't an injury, but a habitual pattern that was imo the cause of his shoulder "dislocation".

I have undergone multiple surgeries in an attempt to resolve this issue. I have consulted pain specialists at Stanford, UCSF, and Kaiser, and have also tried physical therapy, multiple nerve blocks, acupuncture for over a year, and even ultrasound-guided Botox injections in my abdomen. Following a final surgery, which unfortunately did not alleviate the problem, it was determined that further surgical intervention was no longer an option. My last surgeon, who is highly skilled, informed me that surgical options are exhausted and recommended that I consider structural therapy. I found Cris and Medicine Evolution online and decided that a consultation might be helpful. Cris spent a considerable amount of time consulting with me, asking questions, and truly listening to my story. I decided to make an appointment. After my first session, I committed to three months of weekly sessions. Cris's holistic approach involved assessing my entire body and how I move, combined with hands-on therapy and, for once, exercises that were easy for me to remember and implement. For the past eleven years, I literally had to hold my stomach when I walked. Now, I am able to walk for over an hour without holding my stomach. I had never been able to walk for more than ten minutes without experiencing intense pain. Although I am not completely healed, Cris has given me hope that I can gradually improve. As a long-time runner, I am hopeful that I will eventually be able to run again. Cris is truly a one-of-a-kind practitioner. He thinks outside the box and integrates the brain with the body. He's amazing! I highly recommend him. He is a deep thinker who listens carefully and develops individualized plans for his clients. I truly believe that he is on the cutting edge of working with the mind and the body together. Thank you, Cris!

I've worked with many people over the years, PTs, bodyworkers and strength trainers. No one was able to assess the issues in my body and help like Chris. My knees improved quickly under his care and many months later are still feeling great. Chris's bodywork was not only amazing, but his coaching and education about bodies and my body mechanics have really helped me adjust how I walk and move. I continue to bring this awareness to my daily life, which is why I think my knees are continuing to do so well even after our sessions ended. Chris is friendly, smart, funny, observant, caring and committed to his work and his patients. I highly recommend!

She wanted to burn my nerves in my lower back, which I refused. I refused it because I communicate with patients when I'm waiting. Alot of the patients who allowed them to do the procedure most are now using walkers and cains. I have 3 friends who I referred to the clinic and she's taking good care for them....but not me. Bcause I didn't want the procedure. She told me my pain was in my head and I need to see a Physic. I left her office with her giving me no medications at all. But you took an Oth to care for people and to help people who has pain. I immediately told my Primary Care Doctor what she told me. I was told to get MRI and go see Nurosurgen. Well when I seen the Nurosurgen after my MRI I was told I need surgeries. Well I finally had my two part surgeries Sept 30 and Oct 1, 2020. My pain wasn't in my head and I feel you owe me apology. I will be following up with someone on the level of care I was given and I hope she's not treating anyone else as poorly as she did me.
