If I can give this amazing Palestinian restaurant more than 5 stars I would. I was craving manakeesh, so I went for breakfast. From the zatar manakeesh to the falafel manakeesh I left with a big smile. Highly recommend trying this spot out!

Wow, absolutely loved this place. The instant you open the door delicious aromas waft into your nostrils followed by a friendly greeting from whom I assume is the owner. I ordered the Za'atar with cheese manakeesh and grabbed a diet Shasta from the fridge. After not that long of a wait my manakeesh was fresh out of the oven. This was bigger than most personal pizzas and smelled like pure heaven. Za'atar is one of my favorite herbal mixes and it was perfection with the cheese. I devoured the whole thing and was honestly sad it was gone. I should have ordered another for "my wife" and then devoured it in my car. It was that good! They have a huge variety of toppings from hot honey pepperoni to labneh with veggies. They also have dessert ones. Besides the pizzas they have what appears to be sandwiches on an interesting looking bread. There's also big family platters of whole chickens cooked with charcoal. Inside is spacious with plenty of seating. Parking lot is large but really full. I couldn't tell what other business was taking up the space but they had a security guard making sure people parking were only for specific business. I loved it and cannot wait to return!

I was looking for an interesting early dinner option, before a show at HOB Anaheim. Manakeesh had recently opened, and looked like it had definite possibility. My friend and I decided that we would share the mixed grill plate and a flatbread. We chose the fresh za'atar and cheese, from the many options available. The meats were delicious, and came with rice, salad, coleslaw, pickled cabbage, and Hummus, plus pita. We had a lot of the sides left to take home, but finished off the meat. I think my friend's favorite was the flatbread. It was delicious, like a garlic bread with fresh herbs. I really like Middle Eastern style cheese, because it's slightly saltier than regular mozzarella. I have to agree that it was delicious. We ordered at the counter, and the staff gave us time to decide which one we were going to get. There was a big cooler of drinks, and we both got a guava Jarritos. The interior is really beautiful, with interesting light fixtures and panels. There are beautiful plates, pictures, and mirrors decorating the walls of the bright, open dining room. I really enjoyed our dinner, and I'm hoping I'll be back soon to try more items from the menu!

Manakeesh House is a Palestinian restaurant that specializes in manakeesh (baked flat breads with various toppings), wraps, plates (kabobs/shrimp/beef/chicken) and custom chicken bowls. The restaurant is spacious and clean with plenty of indoor seating. Mix grill plate ($25) - Served with rice, salad, hummus, red cabbage, garlic, bread, chicken tawooq, kofte kebab, and filet mignon. All the meats were so tender and juicy and I enjoyed the pita bread which was freshly made in house with the rich and creamy hummus. Zaatar cheese ($9) - This is a classic manakeesh option with the nutty, tangy blend of zaatar spices and some gooey cheese. While it tasted great, I felt the manakeesh was a little thicker compared to other places I have had, but it was still good. Labna/honey/nuts ($10) - This was a great tasting dessert option, the labna having a creamy yogurt consistency and the sweetness of the honey pairing perfectly with it. Overall I really enjoyed the food here and the variety of options. The charcoal chicken looks like another good option to try and I'd like to check out their meat options for the manakeesh. There is a charge for water ($1.50).

Anaheim is the epicenter for a variety of Arabic delicacies. We found out about Kareems first, then Knafeh Cafe, and I am now adding Manakeesh House to that list. Hand rolled, stone baked flatbreads called Manakeesh. The lightest, fluffiest and perfectly chewy yet soft flatbread texture you can think of with as many ingredient options as Baskin Robbins has ice cream flavors. I got Labneh and Veggies while my wife got Cheese and Zatar. I am looking forward to trying some of the Halal meat options or a fully loaded Jerusalem Kaaka next time. They are bread masters and truly know what they are doing. Even a plain Jerusalem Kaaka tasted like the most amazing piece plain bread ever, even without anything in it. Just open texture, firm on the outside, and light and fluffy on the inside. Staff is warm and welcoming and the dining room is super clean and elegant. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend them.

Beautiful Palestinian restaurant that makes everything from scratch. They make pizzas in a wood fired oven and cook their meats over real charcoal for an authentic smokey char. I was so impressed with the service, the owner even remembered my name when I left. The parking lot has plenty of free parking. They even have free tea with fresh mint leaves. I will definitely be back with my friends and family.

I had gotten a tattoo and my artist recommend to check this place out! It was a five minute drive from the shop! This place was much bigger than expected and the staff were very lively and friendly. I picked up a hot honey pizza, some fries, and was recommended to try the cheese sambousek. I like that they called me over so I can see them drizzle the hot honey. They were generous with it! Everything was delicious and didn't take too long to prepare. The cheese sambousek reminded me of an eggroll which made me like it even more lol. They had some other items I'll return to try like their platters and flatbreads :)

First off, food was amazing. 10/10 It's really nice walking in there, it's a nice vibe with good lighting. I think they need metal utensils though. I feel like that almost took away from the meal. ALMOST. but the food is literally that good so I guess it's okay.

Manakeesh House is an absolute gem in Anaheim! The food is incredibly fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted homemade, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients. The manakeesh was baked perfectly with a crisp crust and delicious toppings, and the hospitality made the experience even better. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. Whether you're craving a quick bite or introducing someone to Middle Eastern cuisine, this is a place you'll want to come back to. Highly recommend!"

Love the food here, WOW! SUPER DELICIOUS! The prices are definitely reasonable and the place was clean and new. As for drinks, just cans and bottles in a reach in cooler but I'm sure that's part of what helps keep the prices down along with plastic utensils and plates. The food is served family style on one big platter which we do like although the plastic plates could have been a little bigger. Very casual atmosphere and the music was a little loud but enjoyable. We'll definitely be back. The food is the thing! Thanks Manakeesh House!

It's only about 7 minutes from the parks, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're craving something flavorful that won't leave you feeling heavy. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spinach pastry was hands down my favorite, perfectly flaky with a delicious savory filling. The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. It had a perfectly seasoned, crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful center. Dipping it into the baba ganoush, hummus, and tahini made every bite even better. One of my favorite things was that the meal was incredibly satisfying without feeling greasy or overly heavy. It was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, but I still felt great afterward. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. They also have a great selection of Mediterranean spices if you want to bring some of those incredible flavors home. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team. Between the fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, Zait Zataar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants. But the "Catch Feelings" Chicken Wrap at Kareem's? It genuinely needs a emotional warning label. I ordered it thinking I was just grabbing a quick bite on the go. Big mistake. Huge. Now I'm driving down Brookhurst having a full-blown existential crisis because a wrap has better structural integrity and emotional depth than most people I've dated. First off, whoever is back there assembling these wraps isn't just making food; they are practicing architectural geometry. Most spots toss your veggies in like they're launching confetti at a parade, leaving you with one bite of pure lettuce and another of pure existential dread. Not Kareem's. Every single bite is a masterclass in balance: vibrant, bright, colorful veggies that actually crunch, perfectly seasoned and juicy protein, and a sauce so ridiculously good I'm convinced it's strictly classified under international law. It's colorful, it's mouth-watering, and yes, I absolutely caught feelings. I am now in a committed relationship with a pita-wrapped masterpiece. And can we talk about the hummus? Smooth as a smooth-talking salesperson, richer than a crypto influencer, and paired with proteins that are cooked with actual respect. If you are anywhere near 1208 S Brookhurst St, do yourself a favor and stop by. Every piece had that beautiful char from the grill -- the kind that makes you pause and appreciate how good simple food can be. The beef kabob was rich, smoky, and incredibly satisfying. Tender enough to cut with a fork, packed with warm spices, and grilled just right. My parents kept saying, "Wow, this is delicious," after every bite -- and honestly, same. The falafel plate was a total winner -- crispy on the outside, soft and herb‑packed on the inside.
