Went several months and still have to do physical therapy because thIS place was wasn't doing anything. They didn't do anything!!! They did not work on strengthen exercises. For 40 minutes of the 45 minute appointment my son laid on a bed. Therapist was not present at all!! They are so full of shit. 1 person works 2 patients at a time going back and forth not being present to see if patient is completing the exercises or doing it right. How is it therapy if the patient is sitting and laying on a bed 35-40 minutes of a 45 minute sessions.??????? At the end of the 45 minute session they would put him on a bike with NO RESISTENCE. Thy would start him on AN exercise then leave, no assuring he finished they just also would instruct the patient to do an exercise and walk out to go to another patient. One therapist was nice but the other one was annoying AF and didn't know what she was talking about. Dumb as a doorknob. She would rudely finish your sentences and it would not be what you were going to say. Another example, You would say " I went left then turned right by subway" she would cut you off finishing your sentence and say "So you went right into subway with your sandwich and left your phone"? Place smelled like shitty diapers and bathroom was always nasty littered with paper towels on the floor. A bunch of workers just sitting around. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! THEY AIN'T DOING SH$%@ BUT MASSAGING AND HOT TOWELS, SAYING PUT YOUR RIGHT FOOT IN AND YOUR RIGHT FOOT OUT HOKEY POKEY SHIT. Drop down and do 20 type ish. Then walk away come back and say did you do 20? No therapy just massages and hot pad treatment. B#%$& I NEED PHYSICAL THERAPY NOT A SPA TREATMENT. DO NOT COME HERE. Pésima experiencia, ponen a dar terapia a muchachitos que no saben dar una terapia, en mi segunda visita el chico que me estaba atendiendo ya me iba a poner los parches de la terapia en la mano equivocada, el ni siquiera sabia como poner la maquina para checar la presión, le pedi hablar con su supervisor y vino una chica llamada Rosy y me dijo que en las próximas terapias me atenderían personas calificadas (con licencia), la tercer terapia fue la señorita Daisy ella es una excelente terapista y pude notar la diferencia desde el minuto uno, es una lastima el sistema que tienen, un dia te ponen una persona y otro dia otra, pero no me cumplieron lo que dijeron. Mi cuarta visita otra vez me pusieron una aprendiz que me lastimó horrible el brazo, ademas del moretón tengo una bola, inflamado, me lastimo horrible (anexo fotografia). Las terapias son para desbaratar bolas no para hacertelas. Por otra parte yo tenia autorizada terapia con ultrasonido la cual nunca me hicieron y cuando pregunté si no tenian el aparato de ultrasonido para la terapia me dijeron que lo tenian en el storage y que no sabian si tenian el gel pero que en la próxima cita me lo harían, y no, tampoco me lo hicieron. Un desastre total. Cuatro citas fueron suficientes, ya pedi a mi Doctor que me refieran a otro lugar. No lo recomiendo para nada. Muy poco profesionales. read more

I will overlook the overal two things: 1) the presentation of the faclity. I can't say it is spacious or pleasant, and 2) the frondesk representative whom I can not describe as hospitable. I am just there for therapy. Problems: 1) Unable to obtain PT appt. My evaluation was on 2/5 they booked one PT for 2/20! That is 2 weeks and 2 days wait. I am sorry one of their facilities closed down. I wish they were transparent with me when I called for appt 4 weeks ago, They kept telling me to "call...we have a a lot of cancellations" and the manager promised to "call" me when there are appt times available, but that was just people reading a script. I called, texted and waited but ot no avail My back hurts and fingers are sore for having done so. I had to fill out a form via company's webpage for someone to call me. Tbis time they/Chris did get one PT appt for me for this week. What about next week? 2') Why do I have to keep calling and waiting ? I am a patient. They aware of the lack of access problem. 3) Workers comp cases get prioritized. They automatically get 2 appts per week. I witnessed that. It is not fair. They need to change that. It is a form of descrimination. While we dont expect cheer leaders I expect basic courtesy such that they greet customer and offer assistance. I am not able to appreciate the current personnel whose presents a emotionless face and no greeting like people owe her money. That is rude and not acceptable. read more

Alicia was amazing! At last I feel I can get help with my hands - not arthritis but thickening of tendons causing pain and difficulty using my hands. She nailed the problem and the course of action. The call center isn't helpful at all. I made an appointment and the call center didn't even put my appointment in. When I got to the office, the receptionist was so rude and seemed bothered. Then tells me I didn't even have an appointment set, that their next appointment was at the end of September...not to mention the kids that were running around and getting in the way of patients in the workout area. Physical Therapist Susan is truly amazing, very well humbled and knows that she is doing. During the massages she will explain the treatments that she is doing and ensures that she gets your strength back to how it was before. The staff was friendly and kind but the communication was lacking. This is not a pediatric facility but I took the chance on it because pediatric PT waiting lists are insane. I took my 18 month old daughter here for pediatric PT. At no point did they communicate a plan for her treatment. The initial evaluation was not done by the therapist. They asked me a few questions related to her developmental milestones, charged me a co-pay and sent me on my way. They didn't interact with my daughter or watch her try to walk (which is why we were even there) . After 3 visits I asked for her notes to be sent to our pediatrician and he told me that they were not thorough at all and didn't reflect a true understanding of treating pediatric patients. read more

Super friendly and professional Occupational Therapists work here! I know I'm not the only person who has felt like a government mule while receiving medical treatment. That is not the case here. They are so caring, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. This is my first broken bone ever and I was nervous to do therapy, but they are very professional and knowledgeable about what they are doing so and put me at ease right away. And they check in with you to make sure you're doing OK throughout the process. This is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for quality and kind medical care. I'm writing this review after my last therapy session with Manale, to rehab my broken arm. After a fall while roller blading I had a complete break, mid-shaft, of my radius in my right arm and a dislocated wrist. After surgery and 2 months of inactivity while healing, I could barely move my wrist and fingers at all, couldn't fully extend my elbow, and had lost almost all of my muscular function. Aside from the physical trauma, I had had a horrible experience at my surgeons office and was very disheartened by our shitty healthcare system. Long story short: I was a hot mess when I walked through the doors at Manale and I was feeling very defeated and hopeless. After my first session, I knew I had found a trustworthy team at Manale, who genuinely cared about me. My case required an hour of PT (Tyler) and an hour of OT (Kelly and Patty), twice a week. It was so nice to be able to have therapists from both specialties under one roof, because they work with each other as a team to make sure nothing is getting overlooked. The progress we made with my rehab, week after week, was astounding! They gave me back my independence and my faith in human kindness. The therapy was painful and difficult, but they had me laughing the whole time. They did as much for my mental health as they did for my physical rehabilitation. Now after only 2 months, I have recovered nearly all of my strength, and full range of motion. On top of all that they have kept exceptionally high levels of safety, throughout the COVID crisis. If you are looking for a trustworthy rehab group, look no further. This team is the best. read more

Unfortunately the front office is no help when it comes to dealing with insurances. The receptionist seemed bother that she was going to have to check my insurance policy right of the top. I explained to her that I try calling multiple times to get it confirm but wasn't helped. My appointment was at 3 pm I got here at 240 for the receptionist to tell me sorry I can't confirm your insurance your number1 hour after and not even offer a reschedule . When I called my insurance there was nothing wrong with the number. But the fact that I was watching her as she made this call to confirm my benefits and had to hang up multiple times to go help other employees is what upset me the most. It seemed like a cleaned nice office unfortunately this type of actions will drive potentially new patient away. Waste of time ! read more

I received referral to come to this location for Physical Therapy, and as a veteran it would be easier to go outside of the VA. Well, I guess I was wrong. I attended my first consultation with Anna and I saw their office is listed in yelp. They advertise coupon for free gift bag. I left out of the office and forgot about the gift bag. I walked back in and inquired about the free gift bag. The receptionist acted as if she had no idea about a gift bag. I showed her the coupon. She goes into the drawer and finds plastic bags with hand sanitizer and blue medical mask. I was scheduled to return back into the office that next Friday for 4pm appointment. Of course, everyone knows traffic in L.A. is bad. I arrived 20 minutes late and their office closes at 5pm. The receptionist walks over to Anna and she returns to inform me Anna says it wouldn't be a benefit for me to start treatment since the appointment is 45 minutes and I arrived to at least receive 40 minutes of treatment. I walked out and contacted VA about the comment that was mentioned. For any other veterans do not come here. Why serve your country and receive this kind of treatment. If I'm late you cannot condense it to 25 minutes even if all I received was heat pack and a few exercises! Thanks for letting me waste my gas for an appointment and receive no treatment! read more
