Across multiple visits, I was rarely offered any soft-tissue mobilization or manual therapy to the affected area--treatment that should be standard in a physical therapy plan. In contrast, the other Select PT location provided both targeted manual therapy and cryotherapy (ice), which made a noticeable difference in recovery. During one appointment, the older female therapist with blondish hair held lengthy, non-clinical conversations with coworkers, including openly discussing a complaint involving herself and another therapist in front of patients, which was unprofessional. Aside from the convenient location, I cannot recommend the Cerritos facility based on these recurring issues.

She not only singlehandedly managed the whole clinic operations professionally but in a most effectively way. I came in with my slipped disc (S1 and L5) in a great pain and I was walking gingerly nursing that pain. Pua introduced me to an efficient exercises for me to carry on. Her staff are so efficient seeing through that each one of the patients in the clinic correctly performing those recommended exercises. Pua's recommended treatment are not only they are so effective but they are geared to show marked improvement to speedy recovery. She and her staff are so loved by all the patients in the clinic because she intuitively device what will work for you. Very professional and very personable. I called 22 hours in advance to explain a total emergency that made it impossible for me to attend, but they didn't care at all. I even spoke with management, and their attitude was horrendous. They showed zero empathy for my situation--it's clear they care more about collecting a fee than they do about their patients. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually values people over money.
