I live in Muskegon so Holland is just a little too far to drive. I wish there was a closer location than Holland or Fremont

Was in town and this was close to My hotel. I'm from NYC so pizza & subs I did not expect to be northeast but I have no idea what that was ? Got the chicken parm sub . Took one bite and I could not finish. It was like a hot pocket from the freezer and chopped chicken " I guess " in a microwave or air fryer. The mozzarella was not real ! May be a favorite in town for locals but I would not try again . read more

Absolutely the BEST pizza in Holland, IMO. Been trying to find that one pizza that would make me smile from the first bite all the way to the very last, three days later. Heats up nicely even in the microwave (which I don't normally do because I'm a snob and hate microwaves). Crust was cooked perfectly (not doughy) and the ingredients were top notch. Admittedly since Subs n More closed up shop this is my grinder craving replacement stop. The Italian combo was pretty damn good. I added jalapeños and pepperoni on top of it and it totally hit the spot. The portions are generous and I overdid it ordering a whole instead of a half. The pizza here is pretty solid as well. read more

I love the grinders. Getting a whole usually lasts me a few days because it's SO big! My favorite is the crabmeat but I have heard my friends say the other ones are great too. Tried the garlic cheesy bread and was not disappointed. Will always get these grinders over subway, Jimmy Johns, and any other sandwich place. Love them! read more

Recently moved to Holland and after trying several other chains, they just picked up a regular customer. We ordered a large sausage, pepperoni, onions and mushroom pizza and it was delicious. No waste here, you'll even eat the crust and they use the freshest ingredient's. Truly an enjoyable experience...5 Stars. read more

Mancino's of Holland is run and staffed by absolute champions. Brian, Christi, and their daughter Liz went above and beyond the call of duty on 08 April 2021 to support the Michigan National Guard, the Medical Reserve Corps, the Ottawa County Department of Public Health, the Ottawa County Emergency Management Unit, their respective staffs and volunteers and--most importantly--their brothers, sisters, and neighbors in the West Michigan community. When a gracious donor offered to feed these teams during a massive vaccination effort on the 8th, they chose Mancino's of Holland, which unequivocally was the correct choice. I would like to particularly honor and commend Liz and Brian: Liz did an outstanding job of working with our benefactor and me to bring this all together, including making executive decisions to ensure that Mancino's of Holland was able to deliver a top-quality lunch to our team. Brian was the lynchpin of the operation and made sure that those pies arrived piping hot and in a timely fashion despite the fact that our schedule was thoroughly FUBAR before he even got on scene. We had more than 80 staff and volunteers on site that day, and it is a shame that Brian, Christi, and Liz were not there to hear all of the cheerful and positive remarks that were being made about their honorable contribution to the health, safety, and wellness of their community. To paraphrase 2 Corinthians 9:8-10, Mancino's of Holland freely scattered their gifts. May they in turn be blessed abundantly. read more

This place has went to sh@t since amies took over , grindrers are super skimpy. Pizza always has pieces of random topping like big chunks of an onion or green pepper you didnt order to sour the pie. makes you wonder what else falls on you pizza if they can miss a 1/2" chunk of green pepper or onion. always super slow service only a few slow people working. have several people there working for decades that just dont care . They will send you home with the wrong pie , you drive all the way back , they say "there you go" like your picking for the first time , no sorry or even the hint or remorse. The place is dirty front to back , if your in there take a look at the filthy dishrag they "clean" the tables with. Get your covid-19 here! read more

The best food ever I wish there was one in Chicago manicnos was a big part of my childhood the only thing I miss about Holland Michigan

I didn't feel like cooking and didn't want to be around people so I called in an order for 3 grinders. I ordered a pizza grinder, a ham and cheese grinder with added lettuce and tomato and an Italian grinder. When we got in to pick up our order the people couldn't find our name to our order so we had to repeat the order to them and they looked it up like that. Then after I got home my ham grinder was missing lettuce and tomato. So I ate a quarter of it and couldn't eat anymore. It was a bland ass ham and cheese on super dry bread that was hard as hell to choke down. I threw the rest of that crap to my boxer who had a hard time choking that down, and she eats dry dog food. I now remember why I don't eat here. Food is horrible and orders are never right. read more

Absolutely will eat Mancino's again. The sauce was flavorful and not too sweet. The crust on the pizza and the undercarriage were cooked to a crisp perfection while the dough itself was soft and delicious. Family owned pizza...you can't beat it. read more

Wow! We decided to order pizza and spend the evening in our hotel room... I'm so glad we did! My husband got the taco pizza and I got a cheese and mushroom. We also ordered cheesy bread. It is all sooo delicious! The lady who helped my husband when he picked up the pizza was so sweet and asked is we were staying in a hotel. She made sure we had Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, plates, cups, etc! We will definitely be ordering from them again the next time we visit Holland! read more

This place is a very casual quiet little corner store spot that you come and enjoy with a friend cause there is no distractions! the food is very good and the atmosphere is very laid-back and the women behind the counter are cheerful and always in good spirits check it out you will enjoy it or lease order out and you'll see what I mean :) read more

Just a quick update. I stopped in today for a grinder and the size of their half sandwiches has shrunk a little since I wrote my original review. They are now about 6 inches long. The good news is that they still taste great and the amount of ingredients they put in it still makes a good value. Even having a good sized appetite the half sandwich I had today along with a medium soft drink was enough to comfortably fill me up. If you're looking for a really good sandwich stop in and try one of the many they offer and I'm sure you'll become a fan of this place. Update on 6-18-15: Once again I stopped in and got a half sized grinder sandwich. I asked the person who got my order and they stated the half sandwich is 9 inches. Having an inquiring mind I thought it looked bigger than the 6 inch one I'd gotten last time so when I got home I pulled out a tape measure and this time my half sandwich was 8 inches. Realistically I think the previous 6 inch one was a one time fluke and 9 inches (or close to that) must be the normal size for a half size grinder sandwich. Regardless of whether it's 6, 8, 9 or 10 inches they're very good sandwiches and well worth the money. Even at a smaller size they are still very filling so don't sweat the small details if you happen to get a short one sometime. Odds are that eventually it will balance out and you'll probably get one that's a little larger than advertised. read more

My family and i always get grinders from here! The pulled pork bbq the meatball and the bacon chicken ranch are all top notch here!

First of all they mixed up my order with some stranger. Then they burnt the cheese. All the tables were a little messy. Like does anyone know how to clean. Then one of the workers were doing the trash and put the can right next to another table that had people at it. And was kind of being a bother to them. Ordered and was told 15 minutes for 3 grinders, arrived for pick up and was told my grinders were in the oven. Waited another 25 minutes and I'm pretty sure they just forgot about me because when I asked they immediately brought out my order. I wish I could say it was worth the wait. They were marginally warm when handed to me and down right cold when I got them home. They were bland, had minimal meat and cheese, and the bread was rock hard. For what we paid we expected more-- subway gives more meat. I love grinders but these were awful! read more

Such a great spot for a quick week night meal. The grinders are super filling, and are a bargain for the price. Hard to find prices like these! I call, and it's ready right when I get there, every time. Also the cheesy garlic bread is to die for!!! Unbelievable that there aren't more great reviews on this place. My husband and I were in town on vacation, and stopped in on the way home for a light lunch. We ordered a small side salad, a half seafood sub, a full meatball sub and a nacho plate. We received enough food for 2 meals! The nacho plate itself was a meal, and full of cheese, meat, peppers, onions and olives - plus salsa and sour cream. The seafood salad was warm with melted cheese on a fabulous warm "white" bread with lettuce and tomato. VERY tasty! The full meatball sub was delicious, again on that wonderfully warm and tasty bread. A full order is HUGE! We loved how they sliced the meatballs to make it easier to eat. My husband even loved the pickles (and he is a pickle snob!) The bread is very different - very light. They make it every day from the same dough as their pizza crust. If we lived in this area, we would definitely be here often! read more

We were let down. Our experience at the Allendale location was vastly better. - Walked into a very dirty restaurant, every table dirty/needing cleared of trash and wiped. - This is a place one orders the food at the counter then they bring it to you. No one is waiting on tables, bringing to the home, giving special attention, etc. Despite this, the receipt at the counter has a "gratuity" line to fill in creating an awkward situation. The young man/cashier at the counter answered this question to the lady in front of us in line with clear commentary that it is "customary". Uh, no...it isn't. - Absurd wait time. 53 minutes wait for a simple pizza and two sandwiches. No apologies given. - Not nearly as fresh and well made as the Allendale location. The fresh bread taste at Allendale is nonexistent at the Holland location Something went awry with this branch of Mancino's...definitely not holding to the standard. Called in and ordered 2 Grinders, They said 15 mins. We got to the store and paid for the Grinders, waited 20 mins only to find out they were sitting on a rack the whole time we waited. They were cold and chewy. Disgusting. Also while standing around waiting they screwed up 2 people's pizzas. When I got my Grinder home, it did not have the stuff stated on the menu. Stopped on our way through town. We walked in at 9:25pm on a Friday and we're told we had to order take out because the dining room closes at 9:30pm. Yelp says they close at 10pm and there are no hours posted in the store. We ordered because we were hungry and ended up eating hot pizza and grinders in our car. All the while the open light was on and the employees cleaned. I think they were more concerned about getting out as soon at 10pm hit. Our food was good, just hard to eat in a car. read more

Macino's has delicious toasted sub sandwiches. The half sub is plenty for one person! They also serve pizza. You place your order at a window and then someone brings the food out when it's ready. read more
