My favorite dish here is the cobb salad. Delicious! Of course they make amazing wraps and pizza too. The service is fast and friendly. The ambiance is kind of that sports bar kind of feel. Busy place so there is lots of background noise...if that bothers you, just come a little later or earlier than the traditional time slot and it is much quieter. read more

First time visit at Vitales and it was a busy Friday night at dinner time. I was seated right away and service was quick. Had a side salad to begin with but nothing special there (chopped lettuce, a grape tomato, 2 croutons, slice of cucumber). Ordered a medium deluxe pizza thin crust which was my first mistake. I should have just said a medium pizza. What I got was a cracker with some sauce and loose minced veggies on top. There was literally no cheese to be found on the pizza to the point that when you picked up a slice, the toppings literally fell off since there was nothing gluing it to the bottom crust! The saving grace was that I switched out the ham and pepperoni for capicola and salami so at least there was some flavor to it. I will give them another try because pizzas being served at neighboring tables at least looked like what a pizza should look like. Right now, I'm leaving feeling I didn't even have a pizza for dinner! read more

Have been to Vitales in Zeeland a few times and everything has been great. After living and visiting the area for a 40+ years, we learned about Vitales in of all places, Guam. We never knew this one existed in MI. While living in Guam we frequently visited (Grandpa Joes) Vitales many, many times! In fact, our son still lives there and he visits them several times a week. We came for my birthday with my in laws and we all thought The food was really good. I will say I knocked off a star because of the service. We didn't get any refills and were neglected. We were also seated in the circular booth and it was 28 degrees outside and they had the AC blowing on us. Even after I went up to the hostess booth and asked for the AC to be turned off. We all had to put our winter coats back on as we ate our food. That wasn't the best experience but the good food redeemed this place for sure. read more

This location is solid, and I ate well enough. It's mostly locals and you definitely get the sense that this is a Zeelander's go-to nosh spot. Heads up: It's not the same menu as the Hudsonville restaurant by the same name. I tried to find some of the same dishes so I'd be comparing apples to apples. I prefer the Hudsonville fried mushrooms over these. Zeeland's tasted fine and all, but they didn't really stand out from mushrooms you could get anywhere. The breading was thick and the mushrooms wilty. Not bad, just nothing I'd crave. I'll totally vouch for Zeeland's spaghetti and meatballs, though. Pasta was a perfect al dente, and the meatballs were huge and seasoned well. PRO TIP: Order yours with baked mozerella on top. All in all, I'm glad I stopped in once. But when I next crave a Vitale's eat fest, I'll continue the extra few miles east to the Hudsonville location. Cheers! read more

We went takeout and delivery pizza route this past weekend. One large cheese pizza for the kids and one 18 inch half Hawaiian and half veggie (onion, green pepper, mushroom, green olives and artichokes). We ordered online and the pizzas were made quickly and delivered promptly. It was enough to feed 4 kids and 5 adults with a couple pieces left over. Everyone commented on how it tasted so good and was chock full of toppings. My only complaint was the toppings to crust ratio might have made our base a little soggy, but the sauce was yummy and sweet. I would def get takeout from here again if we are in the area. read more

My first time here, it was referred by the front desk lady at my hotel, Avid. On a Monday night about 6 pm there was a 20 minute wait, which told me this should be good. My waitress Kristie, was pretty busy but was able to give me her option on menu items but had a hard time narrowing down between pizza or pasta. So the 3 cheese breadsticks appetizer came with fantastic house made pizza sauce, I was done! I did have to decide between the pasta and pizza because these was more than enough. Always wonderful service, great food, great atmosphere. We love the deluxe pizza, southwest salad, white pizza, Stromboli, cinnamon sticks, and the drinks are always poppin. The pizza sauce is on the sweeter side too, which we love! They also donated their spaghetti sauce to our church youth group fundraiser dinner. It was amazing! read more

Went there with some friends since we were in the area. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and shared a pizza. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good! It is served with tortilla chips. The pizza was good too, it's more on the thin crust side than thick. The place was very clean and the staff was wearing mask. The workers were making sure to clean all surfaces properly. read more

A typical strip mall Italian restaurant. No ambience whatsoever, with a small bar area. Beer on tap selection was very good, my favorite part of the meal. We ordered the lasagna, which was OK, but nothing to write home about. Garlic bread was pretty awful mass-produced stuff. Service was good, and people were genuinely interested in pleasing their patrons. I wish I could give them a better review, but we won't be going back. read more

Ckn bbq pizza is . Good service. Super busy on Friday n Saturday's. If you go on those days expect to wait. They never have the deep fried pickles . Maybe they have them again? One star off bc of that. The gluten free crust is a hit or miss. Not sure why, the only thing I can think of is different ppl making it? Or what time it's made? Sometimes it's really dry other times is wonderful. Regular pizzas is great! close to our house. The place is usually clean as well. Yes go eat there. During week not as busy. read more
