Horrible! We made reservations for 7:30pm this Labor Day weekend --SUNDAY. It allowed me online. We get there and it closed. No sign on door, there were employees and we knock to ask what's going on. They ignored us! This is actually the 2nd time we come and it's closed around this time...1st time we had no reservation. I call and call and no answer! Food is actually really good but service is terrible. If you're ok with waiting and having to repeat your order a few times then you should be ok. Be warned you will have to leave by 4 as they shut down completely. Drinks were good, prices were all over the place though. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. The food was subpar and nothing stood out. One of my friends who ordered Chilaquiles, was served scrambled eggs with mango chunks mixed in, and even found a bug in her drink. My water also had particles floating in it, which was very off-putting. The service was extremely slow, and the ambience was so loud that it was hard to even have a conversation with my group. To make matters worse, I'm feeling nauseous the next day, which raises even more concerns about food safety and hygiene. Cleanliness should be taken much more seriously here. They also didn't offer any mocktail options or non-alcoholic beers, which was disappointing and limited choices for those not drinking alcohol. Overall, it seems like the kind of place you'd only go for a drink--if you're willing to wait 30 minutes. Definitely not for the food or overall experience. read more

Food is so goood Service was great! Very attentive! We laughed about the lights because the blue lights make the guac look like brown mush lol not gonna lie it was funny we had to use flash for photos hahaha but vibes were fun and lowkey relaxing! One main thing that affected my experience just a bit were the high chairs. We had brunch on a Sunday and after a few hours we noticed our bottle of water that we used throughout the day had mold. Unfortunately all our guest drank from this multiple times. Fries were good but they were too crispy for my liking. We sat at the bar and were tended to right away. The drinks all looked good so we got a drink recommended to us by the bartender. I got a 1/2 flight of tequila and I was able to substitute one of the reposado tequilas with another they had. Place looks like it is good for groups or to take a date. We had came from dinner so we just got fries while we enjoyed our drinks but the food definitely caught our eye. I will definitely be back to try the food menu some more. read more

Walked in last Saturday evening to an almost empty restaurant and waited quite a while before being acknowledged. When someone finally approached us, they asked if we had reservations. We said no, and they asked us to give them a few minutes--while we were literally staring at an empty dining room, wondering why a reservation was even necessary. We were eventually seated and ordered a couple of drinks. While ordering appetizers, I asked for taquitos and the chips and salsa. To my surprise, the waiter told us, "Sorry, no chips and salsa--we're saving them for tomorrow's brunch," with zero concern or effort to offer an alternative. I love supporting local businesses, but sadly this will be the first and last time I spend my money here. read more

Only thing that kept me from posting 5 stars is the 20% automatic service fee they charge no matter the size of the party and they don't tell you that ahead of time. We stopped here for drinks and appetizers before watching a concert at Downey Theater. I must say the food was delicious and the drinks were amazing!! We tried the pork belly skewers and beef tongue skewers, chicharron de pinwheels chips called Duritos as well as the parm truffle fries. Everything was delicious! We even got drinks and I got a drink called Secret Sin which is Mandala blanco, pineapple oleo saccaru, salt, lime and Topo Chico. What made this place even amazing is it's the same company that makes the Mandala Tequila and the decor all over the restaurant consists of these beautiful bottles. Came today for the lotería and rock en español night. Such great service and even with the long line going out the door they accommodated and made space for everyone in line. All the staff was so nice and had a positive attitude. Food was also great highly recommend the sopes and guacamole. Even with the busy restaurant the manager also stepped in to help his staff and find more space for people to sit. 5 stars all around. I will be back for future lotería nights. read more

First of all if you consider to even have a review of your restaurant try having someone who is at least bilingual who can answer questions to customers. I called the first time and the lady who answered just clicked on me because she wouldn't understand when I asked her how long is the wait for a party of 2. I tried calling two more times and the lady would just send me to voicemail. I've heard many good things about this place it just sucks that it didn't sound so inviting due to the person in charge of answering the customers through the phone. read more
