Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Good selection of craft beers. Try the Morenita. Dog friendly, outside food allowed.

Just had my second visit to this brewery in Pico Rivera and it's becoming a new favorite. The beer selection is varied and the service is always friendly and fast. It was definitely more crowded Friday afternoon with a mix of lots of different folks. I look forward to going again. Today there was a food vendor and also Mario's tacos is right next door and you can bring food in. The first time I went they had a plant workshop so loving the vibes here.

On a lowkey Wednesday night my friend Conrad and I went to a bar to play some pool. And since the night was close to my birthday I hope I would find strangers who would party with me. But the hope was high since it was a non-weekend night, and in general the bar was scantly attended. That is why I grateful to have found a couple of twenty-somethings that gifted me their presence and willingness to drink, in pace with me. Soon after I found out that Julian had hopes of opening a business and to gather capital for the dream he was doing burger pop-ups at different locations but his regular Monday night haunt was Brewjeria. So consider this a review for Brewjeria and also for River Bed Bums, the burger pop-up at Brewjeria. His girlfriend, Destiny, was the other half of the pair I met that night. And now we begin with the reason I wrote this review-- a celebration of the burgers of River Red Bums that are destined to be more than a bite of legend at a brewery parking lot. They are destined to be the foundational effort that Julian and Destiny's empire will be built on. I am not the Oracle of Delphi, or Nostradamus, or have a crystal ball, but taste foretells its own fortune, and what I tasted here, were winning lotto numbers that herald a future fortune. Conrad and I tasted three items: their original burger, their Brewjeria (which is their take on a Western burger) and their Serrano Blue. I asked Destiny (the server and cashier of the pop-up) for a taste of the blue. I love Blue Cheese but I hate spice. The spiciness triumphed, I could not eat the burger. But I love that that Julian places blue cheese on a burger, it speaks to creativity and a willingness to take control risks, this already speaks to the fortitude of his artisanal hands. The classic burger was amazing, It came with a bag of Kettle chips, and a carefully folded napkin. I appreciated their service and attention to detail, it is these touches that make having dinner a dining experience, and for me dining experiences are majestic vacations that happen on single night. They have a secret sauce that sings, loudly, effectively, and with soul. If I had a note to give (which of course I do) I would focus on developing the patty. Currently, it is a beef patty, which is fine, but not special. The bun gave brioche vibes (maybe potato bun?) and the sauce again (wow!) but when it is all put together the beef flavor is made small or maybe even negligible. When great ingredients come together, they can outshine the principle ingredient if it is not as special as the other. What was a perfect burger was their Brewjeria. The burger had one perfectly fried onion ring, grilled onions, and red pickled onions and bacon jam. All of the ingredients came together, not in a mixture, but in a swirl of wind, that lifted me into flavors that are familiar but yet new, simply because they packed a flavor punch that could not be denied. The burger asserted itself as a strong Western Burger, which in itself is an accomplishment, because with so many burgers out there, it should be a point of pride to create one that elevates the genre of Westerns between buns. As soon, as I walked into Brewjeria, I saw people playing with cards, not suited cards, but rather Pokemon or Duel Monster cards? I can vibe with that. But, the guests who accumulated in the front of the table were playing Magic the Gathering, which I never learned. But this confirms that this place can serve as a gathering spot for those who enjoy beer and table card games that do not involve flushes or straights. As, I walked around I also saw television for the Sports Fans, and even a flyer advertising a 5K walk. So this place its eclectic in its offerings and can offer much for many. That is a big plus for this place--- it lends itself easily to be a place where community can hold space or even develop. The joint was also decorated for Halloween, and again, the decorations remained tasteful and engaging and added a depth of whimsy to the joint. And I for one, always appreciate a place that transports me somewhere, even if it is to place where Halloween is cool and not scary. They had witches hats with gray hanging on the wall. They had wall gardens, which added a touch of nature to the night. They had cans of beers (to-go) with really gorgeous women in the can, which were drawn like they were superheroes on a mission to smize (smile with your eyes). If I were a beer drinker I would find a place here, even more. Like for example they had a beer flight. You picked up a card wrote your choices and then you get four small glasses of the chosen beers. I reminded the couple who got the beer flight that their Monday night became special because of the unique drinks they were about to enjoy. Yeah, sometimes making a night special just means ordering a drink that comes in a unique vessel.

We were passing through after a farmers market event, and we were all sweaty and thirsty. I looked up a brewery for us to stop by and this one came up. I was amused by the name. Parking wasn't difficult in the lot towards the back. The place doesn't seem too big but there's definitely different places you can sit and peruse. They had a little library with books mostly for kids, so I assume families come in here. They had high tables and normal seating. Good for small/medium groups. You order at the bar, and their menu has different kinds of puns for beer names. It's fun to go through them all. I was expecting it to be more "witchy" related but it didn't come across that way. It was still fun though. Service was friendly and attentive. They have a free water station (self-serve) and that was out. It took them a while to refill it, but even then it wasn't filled all the way, so it quickly ran out again. With these days getting warmer, I do hope they are more attentive to the water station. Beers were ok. If I was more local, I would give them another try and taste more of their beer selection.

I've been here a couple times and I've had a great experience every time. I most recently visited this past Saturday and it wasn't too busy so the service was very quick. I noticed that most of the beers are pretty strong which I don't mind. 10/10 experience. I will be visiting again in the near future!

Cute spot, lots of screens to watch your sports. It was not to packed on a weekday around 6 pm. I do not drink alcoholic beverages, but I sure did enjoy my jarritos Tamarindo. It would be nice if they carried kombucha, that would make me one happy human. While Rdawg enjoyed his grapes of wrath which is a Belgium tripel with 9.1% alcohol. I enjoyed the boardgames and Little library. There is no food at this establishment, but I saw a lot of people bringing snacks and we did discover a tortillera across the parking lot with some food items and snacks . Rdawg also tried another drink called space clown which he also enjoyed, I love that it is so close to home and I can drive back without taking any freeways. I would come back again with a blanket, a giant pretzel. and my kombucha.

Very cool local spot, easy access for parking and nice staff. Beer was really good to

Love love love this place! Popped in on a quick date and the beer selection was amazing. Several options to choose from. It was karaoke that night so it was a fun spot to sit and people watch. There was even a pop up for a comic book boutique going on. This is such a legit spot and they have a calendar of fun events up so you can pop in. Excellent service.

I've never enjoyed a brewery more than today! Let me start with the music. I've died and went to indie rock heaven. The Strokes, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT etc. are you kidding me this place was made for me. The strawberry slushie was heaven! I can't wait to come back with my fiends to enjoy good music, beer and food! Thank you JoJo, you were the kindest and so helpful when I needed help ordering drinks!

Had a good experience at this place. Staff was friendly and took time to give samples. There was live music and the beers were delicious. It's spacious and pets are allowed. There were people of all ages, fun and friendly crowd. Nice chill place. There was enough parking to the rear of the business.

I've never had such smooth beer. It's no wonder they've won awards for best beer as it shows in the flavor of their brews. As for the ambiance they have three spacious rooms and it looks like an industrial brewery but it definitely has a hipster millennial vibe; super chill. Service is also quick and friendly. Bartender took his time explaining the different flavors. I had the Grapes of wrath that's a creeper as it doesn't taste strong but is packed with 9% alcohol. The Rubia Fuerte is one of the best blondes I've had; so much that I had two. You can also make any beer a michelada. My friend and I got lucky enough to experience open mic poetry night, which happens every last Friday of the month. It was a fun two hours full of laughter, inspiration and tears of joy. They even had a food stand in the back that served bulgogi Mexican fusion food called No Mambres. Delicious bulgogi fries to pair with the beer!!! Highly recommend this brewery!!!

Oh Brewjeria, how I wanted to fall head over heels for you. Two friends recommended you as a must stop. I love your name and fusion of the Latino culture, beer names and decor. Today the hubby and I stopped by to finally dip into the brews. I had a flight as there were several beers' description that sounded delicious, refreshing and flavorful. I had a flight Morenita, Tangerine, Aqui y Allá, and Oktoberfest, and the hubby had the Rubia light. Sadly, none of the beers I sampled tasted light, crisp, citrusy, balanced or complex or as described. They all had a bitter aftertaste. The Rubio light had the least bitter taste, but it still ended with a pucker. Perhaps the bitterness is the tone of all their beers, and some folks like it, but it's not my preference. I returned to the register to close my tab with my flight pretty much intact except for a good sip missing from each glass. The server noticed that my beers were practically full and it would have made a world of difference if he would have inquired or asked me if I liked the beers. He didn't ask or inquire my thoughts on the beer. The place is spacious and I can see how lively the space could get with music and food vendors. Sadly, brewjeria lacks luster, bold flavors, and attentive customer service. Best of luck!

I have been waiting for months, if not over a year to try this place out and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The sense of community was incredible. The staff are great! The space itself is big, and is also family friendly. There are board games, open spaces for kids to enjoy, and a changing table in one of their bathrooms!! The brews were great, unique flavors, and reasonable prices. I also really love that they invite different food vendors throughout the week! I am excited to visit again, and share this place with friends.

Tried their hibiscus Tomo La Flor. 6.2%abv. Not too bad.

I'm honestly very disappointed…read more We ordered delivery from what used to be one of our favorite local restaurants. Three years ago, we dined here and had an amazing experience, which is why we were excited to order again. Unfortunately, this meal was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. I ordered the pork ribs and fried shrimp. The ribs were extremely dry--so dry that they tasted like they had been cooked days earlier and reheated multiple times. They were nothing like the ribs I remembered from previous visits. After just a few bites, I started feeling uncomfortable. The fried shrimp was equally disappointing. It had almost no flavor at all and tasted bland and uninspired. My husband ordered the burger, which was advertised as a blend of Wagyu and regular beef. We were expecting something special, but the patty lacked flavor and the quality was disappointing. What surprised us even more was that we live only five minutes away, yet the burger bun arrived completely soggy. The packaging was also poor. The food came in cheap plastic containers without any ventilation holes. For fried foods especially, proper packaging is important to prevent steam from ruining the texture. It felt like very little care was put into preparing the order for delivery. To make matters worse, both my husband and I experienced stomach discomfort and excessive gas afterward, and we were still feeling it the next day. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that this was my husband's birthday dinner. I chose this restaurant because of the wonderful memories we had here years ago, but the food quality was nowhere near what we remembered. I genuinely cannot understand how food of this quality was considered acceptable to send out to customers. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share it. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes a closer look at its food quality and delivery standards.

This place exceeds all my expectations... It's pretty loud in here at times. The place would be considered lively. New York Steak is killer good. 12oz steak with a vegetable medley and Mash Potatoes and gravy. The steak is very high grade (what what what?!) and the entire meal is $23.... Compare this to a combo at Wendy's for $16 lol. Steak here tends to overcook a level so ask for the level below. Juicy, great texture, excellent flavor, and grill lines! Sampler Has everything needed to satisfy all appetites! Wings are on the larger size, crispy, juicy in the inside, and well seasoned. Guacamole is fresh made and they fry their own chips which is unique. I always switch out the Jalapeño sticks with sweet potato fries or more mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks come with an excellent marinara sauce. The bread bowl is a full miss for me. There is probably three tablespoons of soup in it and the entire bread is about the size of a large muffin at Costco and so overpriced that Disneyland's is a much better value. The casino basically has 4 concept restaurant with their own kitchens but you can basically order from any of them and robots will drive them over to you or a server will go pick it up and bring it to you and put it on one tab. The current ones are Pho (Vietnamese), Sora (Sushi/sashimi/hand rolls), Luyixian (China/Taiwan inspired Chinese food), and here American grill. I ordered Sora's Nigiri set for $45 on one of visits and while the sushi was incredibly fresh it is really not worth it. Not enough sushi and too much filler like edamame. French fries here sometimes gets subbed with normal fries but they generally always have sweet potato fries, and some of best seasoned fries all around.
