Enjoyed a daycation at the Mandara Spa at the Swan & Dolphin hotel. One of the best 60min massages I've had. Booked the last appointment of the day and had the spa to myself.

We go here every time we go to disneyworld. It's definitely the best spa on property. But there's definitely room for improvement. While the facilities are impressive, they could use some sprucing up. The cushions are tired and floppy, the pagoda has large cracks, the outdoor furniture in such a well appointed room seemed out of place. They offer coffee, non branded water bottles, and cucumber water. I would like to see more options like Poppi or sparkling drinks. It would also be nice if they had better snack options, maybe a wasabi trail mix or chocolate covered nuts. I also think this spa lacks amenities that other spas make available. There is no access to a pool or spa (not even the hotels main ones). There's a small sauna in each locker room but why not an infrared one? Maybe a cold plunge pool or tub? The locker room is unfortunately very small. They also put me in a locker right next to another guest. It made changing and getting our stuff very awkward. Needs a full length mirror! The robes have seen better days. They're definitely well worn and the flip flops are kinda gross. I brought my own. It's odd because during the pandemic they were using some pure white waffle pattern robes that looked much nicer. And now they've switched back! My massage was kinda weird. The woman doing it had a strange vibe to her. Like she asked if I had anything to tell her and I mentioned I'm allergic to perfumes and scents. She then launched into a story about how she is "allergic to everything". Like she was trying to one up me or something? Very awkward. Then after the massage she asked if I wanted a mimosa. I said that I was ok, she said "are you sure? You're a big girl!". It just felt kinda weird and pushy. What if I were a recovering alcoholic? Maybe just accept the no.

I was staying at the Dolphin for a conference and had a morning to myself. I booked a coconut poultice massage and a pedicure. They provide locking lockers and you can pick which locker you want to use. I have never had a coconut poultice massage before, but I would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat! I would have to say this was one of the best massages I've ever had, and I'm sad I don't live nearby to be able to do it again. When done, they lead you to a room where you sit and wait for the next technician to come get you. To me that was somewhat awkward, because I didn't know who was coming and whether they knew I was waiting. But someone eventually showed up and took me back for my pedicure. The pedicure was exceptionally well done, the leg massage was excellent, and it has been one of the longest lasting pedicures I've ever had. I was super impressed with my experience at the spa, and would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful spa. The ambience is fantastic and very relaxing. The quality of the pedicure was perfect. The massage was obviously the best part. If you are staying at the dolphin and need a little R&R or some new time, I highly recommend booking an appointment at the spa.

I…read moregenuinely avoid leaving a negative review for any business, especially local businesses, but this particular experience at Pure Massage Spa left far too much to be desired. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend experience was turned into a painful one. We booked a 90 minutes customized massage for me and a 30 minutes chair massage+ 30 minutes foot reflexology massage for my husband. The lady who provided the massage services for me didn't even ask which type of massage I would prefer. Their website says one can choose from Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sport, Therapeutic Massage or combination for the customized massage option. She did whatever she wanted to. She was rough, pretty hard handed and I had to request her to reduce hand pressure several times during the session. At one point during the session, my sinuses got so badly congested that I could barely breathe. I needed relief from a nagging pain in my neck and shoulders and the massage not only did nothing to help my condition, it further aggravated the pain for me. The only saving grace was that she helped me stretch my back and limbs but her method was extremely painful in the moment. I was sore and definitely not relaxed after the massage. My husband had another weird and painful experience with his sessions. They literally brought out a massage chair to the tiny reception area and wanted to start his session right there! This was unexpected as when we spoke with the lady at the reception over the phone earlier, we were told that since he's opted for the chair/seated massage, he will be in a different room than mine. What we weren't told was that the 'other room' is going to be the reception area! Anyway, my husband requested privacy and they ushered him into one of the rooms but couldn't fit the massage chair in there. What baffles me is that why would a business try to provide a service that they don't even have enough space for? Since they couldn't fit the chair in said room, he was asked to lay sideways on the massage bed. The guy who provided the massage service for him apparently just kept poking and nudging him hard throughout the 30 minute duration till my husband had had enough of the painful experience and asked him to stop. He said that the foot reflexology session was the only good experience he had. All in all, the massage experience at Pure Massage Spa was far less than desired for both of us. Never going back.

After a rigorous walking day at Disney World, my girls and I came to Eastern Massage Foot Spa to…read moregive our feet some much deserved relief. I called ahead of time and made a reservation for the 4 of us to get foot massages. Pricing is higher than where I come from, but as I looked into other foot massage places in the area it's about average. We all went with their Foot Massage and Foot Exfoliation Special which is $95 for 70 minutes. $5 credit card fee for credit card payments. Bring CASH if you can. Or they have an atm which had a lower fee than the $5 so my friends and I withdrew cash. Their layout is a bit strange where they have 3 foot massage chairs in front by the cashier and the windows, and a private room in the back with 3 foot massage chairs. Since no one wanted to be in the front by the windows, one of the girls took her massage at a private room with a table, but that made it awkward for the foot soak. We also heard this random slapping sound throughout the massage that made us worried for her. The three of us were in a room together in the back. What was really strange is how three different staff member had completely different routines. The process was really random, which shows me I can't really guarantee a good experience if there's no training or consistency. For one of my friends, her massage therapist wasn't wearing gloves when the other two were. And then 2 were using massage oil while one used lotion. Communication was all over the place. It started really weak for the exfoliation part and we were all texting each other worried that it was suck the whole time... but thankfully it got better. My person actually asked me how I liked the pressure and I said on the strong side. They warned me that they're really heavy handed, but I didn't think it was strong at all. Since my friends' people does not ask them about pressure I went and asked them out loud so their massage therapist could hear it. Personally I could have used more pressure, but it was still a decent experience. I just feel like the facilities are dated and staff is inconsistent. I can't really recommend this place to anyone if I'm not sure how their results would turn out.

The sound therapy and head techniques were incredible, and I left feeling calmer than I have in ages. My hair stayed soft and smelled amazing for days. The spa is spotless, private, beautifully lit, and has a peaceful Eastern‑influenced vibe. They even store your shoes in a cubby when you arrive. Highly recommend -- amazing value and a truly unique experience. That said, here's the one thing that knocked it down a star for me: the payment process for gifts is tricky-if you're planning to surprise someone, make sure you clarify the payment setup ahead of time -- otherwise the person you're trying to treat might end up stuck with the bill if you're not physically there to pay.

I had to ask if Mika was coming, and that's when I was told she was fully booked and busy. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have stayed. I live three hours away and specifically came expecting to have my appointment with Mika. During the service, water also got into my ear and I'm still trying to get it out, which has been very uncomfortable. My first visit here was a great experience, which is why several of my family members also come here now. Unfortunately, today's visit was very disappointing and I honestly couldn't wait for the session to be over. Just wanted to mention that the owner told me Mika had a family emergency and had to leave early, but that was not was the therapist said to me beforehand. I will say I'm glad my hubby was able to get Eva, since she was the other person we originally requested. They offered me a complimentary service with Mika for next visit, but honestly it is not worth the stress or the drive after what I went through. Lesson learned. On top of everything, we still tipped well.
