Certainly not the worst and all things considered of what Page has to offer it was on the better end of the scale. Typical Americanized Chinese Buffet food, onion to meat ratio is high for example as are other veggies but sauces have a decent in flavor. We stuck to the buffet so not sure if that improves when you order from the menu. All the food was hot. Soups were well made, lots of thigh meat in the chicken selections so don't expect white. I thought this place was great for what it is - a fast food style, chinese buffet - it's not like you're going to a michelin rated restaurant, so I guess it's all about having the right expectation. It really brought back some college memories, although I only got 2 1/2 plates in. Weird thing is they didn't have (m)any veggie only dishes, like tofu or eggplant. I am not the type to care whether workers smile or not (which means I have relatively high tolerance) but the workers here are straight up rude. When we entered, my mom asked if there is a take-out menu since this is a buffet and one of the male workers held the paper menu 6 inches from her face and then walked away without speaking. I will leave out the things I said to him. The food is like any typical americanized cheap Chinese buffet food. There were about 20 hot dishes and some fruits and desserts so not too much variety but it is expected from these kind of buffets. The next bad thing that happened was when an older Korean man whom I believe is one of the owners approached my family's table 15 minutes into our meal and spoke broken chinese to us and said he must give the check to us and asked us if we beloved to another party. It was very clear that the other party came a lot later than us and we realized the only reason they were rushing the checks was because there was a bus full of tourists outside and they didn't have enough tables. I could care less about food and smiles in this experience but the works are far from professional. Just think about this: when you had a long cold trip to the canyon or the lake and came back exhausted, it was such a feast to have warm and tasty Chinese buffet freshly prepared. We went there after our trip to Antelope Canyon and everyone was longing for hot Chinese food. The waiting time wasn't long at all, regardless of two large groups of Korean and Japanese tourists. There was a large range of options available for food during lunch time, and they all tasted good given the harsh environment here in Page. All of us were tired of deep fried fast food and pizza that we had had in the past three days, so being able to eat rice, hot soup and cooked veggies was such a blessing. I hardly ever go to Americanized Chinese food places like this but I still want to give this place a four star rating. As for the service, I could see the staff there working so hard to clean up the table so that the customers could get seated as soon as possible. So nothing I could get picky on. By the way, the owner of the restaurant was an interesting gentleman: he's Chinese but came from Korea; went to Waseda University (it's like the Japanese equivalence of University of Pennsylvania) and now enjoying his retiring life here in Page and running a small business. No wonder many Korean and Japanese tour groups came here because he speaks their languages. Would give this place a no star if I could. DONT GO HERE. Came here by force because of our Asian tour guide, the food wasn't even that good and it was all cold. The server came by with tea and I asked if it was extra and she said no and that it was complimentary. Then later we asked another server how much it was and he said 10.99 and when the manager came by with the check it said $30 for two people and we asked how does that make sense since it's 10.99.
