I…read morehave been a loyal customer for year my Pomeranian has been groomed here for about 10 years, and my Maltese/Shih Tzu has been coming here for the past several years. In fact, he has been groomed here approximately 8-9 times without any issues. After this visit, I was told that my dog's anxiety was the reason for the poor grooming result. I cannot accept that explanation. My dog has successfully been groomed here many times before, including visits when he wasn't given anything to help him relax. This time, we even gave him Benadryl beforehand to help keep him calm. The grooming quality speaks for itself. His face was left uneven and unfinished, and it is by far the worst grooming job he has ever received. After so many successful appointments over the years, blaming my dog instead of taking responsibility for the quality of the work is extremely disappointing. I can't post photo because it breaks my heart . It hurts me so much.

I like to show her reference photos I find online of similar looking dogs and explain to her that I want my dog's fur "not too short but not too long" with teddy bear face. He comes out perfect every time and his legs are the perfect length every time. Before I leave, she always makes sure I'm happy with how he looks and adjust/trims if I am being nitpicky (me problem). I don't particularly like the fresh cut look because it looks too "clean" but he looks absolutely perfect in like 2 weeks when his shag comes back! I can tell how much she loves her job by the way she speaks to him. I've gone to many many many groomers in my 20 years of dog ownership and I am loyal to Bluemoon! She is really flexible with appointments and I usually call a week in advance to get an appointment and she always has availabilities based on my schedule. I drop him off, remind her what I want, and pick him up when she calls/texts me in about 3 hours! It's in a shared lot with other businesses like a laundromat and more but I've never had issues finding parking.

Sadly, kiwi passed away and poor Koji needed some help. It was time to bring him back indoors! His hair was out of control! He was filthy, and needed major grooming. I mean MAJAHHH grooming. Check out the before and after pics... insane. You couldn't even see his eyes. I know bad fur mama. I searched for a local groomer and Sarah was the 1st to respond quickly! I got so lucky because someone had rescheduled and was able to bring Koji in immediately! Sarah is amazing. The minute Koji met her you can tell how passionate she is about her craft. She immediately connected with Koji, and gave me a brief consultation on how long it would take for the services. We left Koji with Sarah. Koji had a lot of work done! It took about 3 hours to make sure every area was given attention too. It's located by the West Covina mall -- so it wasn't a problem to kill some time. Koji got a full service groom ... which was teeth, nails, ears, sanitary shave, haircut/trim, skin check, bath, blueberry facial, and dry. He even came out with a cute bandana. We couldn't really style him because she had no choice but to shave his hair because it was so tangled. But You guys! OMG! He came out looking like a new dog and he smelled like a baby! . She did exceptional. I think there are very few groomers in this world who truly care about their clients and furry customers! Sarah is one of them -- she truly cares about you fur babies and will do whatever it takes to ensure the job is done with care. I highly recommend her for her grooming services! I saw she also offers a doggy day care. It's good to know I have someone I can trust to care for Koji when needed. I hardly give 5 stars unless I feel it's exceptional service--- and this groomer is!! I'll definitely be back! Thank you Sarah for your passion, your craft and attention to detail. She lived until 18 1/2 I just recently put her down a month ago. Cathy has a special place in my heart being so good to Daisy. My dog had sensitive skin and would wash her with oatmeal baths, and as he got older would use the medicated wash I would bring in. She even offered free ear cleaning in my dogs old age as she was prone to ear infections and recommended a great ear medication that completely kept them at bay when I started using it on her. Love this place, she's been seeing my cousins dog as well for years as we highly recommend her to them
