I usually don't leave reviews like this but there is nothing more frustrating to a homeowner than someone who doesn't deliver on its service. I called MandyHandyman to set up a washer drain pan and dryer which they did great. Then I had them work on re-installing a sink I had to take out due to new flooring. They replaced some plumbing to fit the new faucet and water lines. The sink wasn't centered to the wall and next day we noticed it kept leaking. I was like ok no big deal, I will call them so they can fix it (everybody deserves a second chance). They came over next day and said the reason it was leaking was because the sink was broken and I needed to buy a new one. I thought that was weird because we never had leaks before from the same sink so I took it upon myself to test for leaks. The sink was not broken, the leak came from the new drain piece they installed. I called them again and showed them how the drain kept leaking even without the sink and asked them to come over to fix it. They were going to charge an additional $150 to re-install the sink and fix the leak. What? Why would they charge me more to fix something they caused? I told them I would install the sink myself if necessary, I just needed them to fix they leak they caused. They didn't reply to my texts/calls after that and didn't offer to refund me for the bad job. I had to call another handyman to fix the issue and ended up spending double the amount due to their mistake. I'm sorry but I just don't think that was professional. I do hope they get in touch to make this right; otherwise, I'm unable to recommend them. read more

We were scheduled at 10:30 this morning for handyman work. We received a text he would be an hour late. Ok, thanks for letting us know. After 2 hours late the owner quit responding to text. He eventually replied and said the handyman was here at 11:45. We have a Ring camera and he did not arrive until 2.5 hours AFTER scheduled time. He LIED and the owner stated that his workers are truthful. We have camera footage that he did not show up on our property until almost 1pm after being scheduled for the 10:30 then expected us to continue our business with him for a discount AFTER he lied. Initial impressions are mediocre based on what I paid. Two workers showed up at 9:30 am - work was completed at 1:45pm. Just needed to finish up some drywall spots, paint, and fix two door latches (latches and strike plates not working well because the wood that the strike plate screws into has been milled so many times by previous owners). Front door is still a little janky - now the deadbolt doesn't slide in and out easily (but it works). Side entrance might be good - I need to go buy a new handle for it (based on what the technician told me). Looks like the interior trim on the side entrance was moved because it wasn't cut exactly to length....so now I can see bare wood around the door (Might've been like this prior but the new paint/adhesive on the underside leads me to think otherwise). I think it would be nice if it was easier to communicate with them - neither spoke good english. I had to talk to a woman over the phone just to figure out the bill....seemed unprofessional. I wrote a check out to one of the technicians per their instructions (Also odd). And the stuff they had to buy to complete the work (they went to Home Depot for some items) was added onto the bill (This was not disclosed at the beginning). I made sure I kept the stuff purchased. Probably would hesitate to use them again for anything other than drywall (drywall looks really good!). read more

I submitted a detailed scope of work (simply caulking an outside wall) and relayed what type of caulking to use, with instructions. He arrived this morning with his mask below his nose, and after looking at the area to be done, he went back to the car, and came back to tell me he doesn't know how to caulk and cannot do the job.
