I'd been experiencing pain for about six months before finally making an appointment so didn't expect all of the damage I'd done to be erased in one visit. Jenn asked a lot of questions and got to work. At first I saw Jenn every few weeks. She has used a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping, medi-cupping and has also used a variety of CBD lotions dependent on my pain levels. I really appreciate not only Jenn's abilities as a talented massage therapist, I have also gained so much knowledge from her on other holistic approaches to my healing: stretches and herbal remedies being only a few. Every appointment starts with a discussion about any issues I've had....and lots of times I just tell her to find the areas that seem tight...it really is amazing how she can find the spots to make other parts of my body feel better! Jenn is incredibly dedicated to her business and clients and I appreciate that she is willing to go above and beyond when we discuss issues I experience and how I can supplement my massages. Although I haven't taken advantage of some of the other offerings at Modality, I think that her addition of other treatment methods shows her dedication to providing options for anyone. While I only see Jenn about once a month now, making that first appointment really was one of the best choices I made for myself in a very long time not only physically but mentally as well. The space she set up is beautiful, clean and very calming and I would encourage anyone to make an appointment. As a side note, besides being really great at what she does, it is always a delight to see Jenn and I love her energy and attitude!

Inner Connections is in Victorian Village and is a collective of healing arts practitioners…read more Although Victorian Village can be intimidating for parking, they do their best to make it stress free. There is a little, but not crowded parking lot in back where I was able to find parking both times I went. They also will cover street parking. Inside it is clean, peaceful, and well decorated. Suzi Wilkoff who I saw was spectacular! She does The Arvigo® Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage (for fertility and other benefits) and John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (for structural optimization). She is very kind and thoughtful. She also is a teacher at heart and freely shares a multitude of resources for her clients. You feel safe while you are there and come out feeling well cared for which is important, especially if you are struggling with something as discouraging as fertility struggles or persistent body aches. Her art is a little unusual (don't go in expecting a regular massage), but highly beneficial. Inner Connections is perhaps a fitting word because I felt like she gave me the inner tools to find my own path to healing. Not all practitioners are so generous. Though a blink of an eye, my visits there will not quickly be forgotten.

The representative on the phone became super snotty to me. She lacked any willingness to work with me. I explained they would lose my future business, but she didn't seem to care. What a disappointment. This is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I'd encourage you to Google reviews for Massage Envy and this location. The one different aside from Grandview being larger than Dublin is that Grandview didn't offer champagne prior to the massage like Dublin does. The lighting was dim, it was beautifully decorated, the couches and chairs were super comfy with the warm blankets, and there was tea/coffee/water/trail mix to enjoy prior to my massage. Ashley did a wonderful job on my massage. She made sure to ask me how much pressure to do, and if there was anywhere I needed her to focus or anywhere I didn't want her to focus. I usually go to Panacea but wanted to try Woodhouse. I arrived 45 minutes early, because the email and voicemail said to arrive early to give me time to get in a robe and not cut into my massage time , understandable . I arrive early, do the paperwork , get in a robe and wait in waiting room. My massage was scheduled for 3:30 last Friday. I had been waiting about 40 mins , and the power went out. Five plus minutes later someone finally comes to the waiting room and says the power is out and told me she didn't know what to do and that she would call her boss. I was then told to get dressed and that they couldn't do my massage anymore , when my massage time was supposed to have started already. I get that it was a power outage but i had scheduled my whole day around this and wasted my time. Days later and still nothing from the manager. No apology, nothing . I was told by the worker that "maybe " i would get a discount or credit for future massage since I was highly inconvenienced but no, NOTHING. BUT, if I were to cancel within 24 hours i would have fully been charged ! Horrible management here and not what I expected from a "luxury" place. SAD.
