When I told them I was the one with the 2:30 appointment, they looked at me as if they had no clue of what I said leaving me feel quite uncomfortable and awkward. They also barely speak English. An advance full payment for massage? Is this a normal practice? Anyway, when I tried to pay with my credit card, I was told to pay in cash because the credit card device was malfunctioning. Reiki is energy work for healing/ balance and Reflexology is part physical work/foot massage and part energy work. As my massage was prenatal, we ended up having separate rooms, but Cindy checked to make sure I didn't mind first, and we were totally fine with whatever setup worked best. Cindy made sure I had proper supports for laying down, and used a body pillow to hug while lying on my side when it was time to do my back. My aching joints felt so much better after the hour, and my husband's massage therapist was able to work out several tense knots for him as well; we both felt much more relaxed and less achy post-massage.
