We had breakfast this Sunday morning and really enjoyed ourselves. The first time we went to Mandy's we had dinner with friends and loved it. This was just the same. Great service and a delicious breakfast. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Had the best time at Mandy's! My fiancé and I sat at the bar and had good conversation with everyone around us. Everyone was so friendly. The bartenders - Dave and Steve were the best!! I went for lunch with a few girlfriends and I wasn't impressed. We were given menus but told we couldn't order any entrees, pizzas, sharables or paninis. Why are customers given menus where you can't order more than half of what's on it? That was very limiting. Originally, I ordered the eggs benedict until I asked what side came with it since it didn't say and I was told it didn't come with a side because they're a la carte. Umm, what? I think Mandy thinks she's running a fancy Michelin star restaurant. They want people to pay $15 for an eggs benedict but won't provide a side? So I asked to add their country potatoes but was told they don't have potatoes. At first we thought they somehow ran out of potatoes but we were told they don't serve any potato sides for their food items. First off, what? No potatoes? Second, it's on the menu! While my friends put in their orders I kept thinking how expensive this is. So I cancelled my eggs benedict and ordered the avocado toast instead, and a mojito. I thought as long as everything tasted good then it is what it is. But nope. The mojito was watered down and the avocado toast was sooo tiny and very plain tasting. No seasoning whatsoever and the mozzarella wasn't melted. I finished my teeny plate in about 4 bites. I have no desire to go back here. It's just not worth the money or the stinginess. It's very sad because I was really hoping this would've been a regular place I could go to in Maricopa. I'd rather make the drive to Postino's instead. read more

My first experience at Mandy's was good and it was for dinner. The food service was slow. The next time we went for brunch and was excited for the Italian Eggs Benedict. Unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. The eggs were overdone and again the service was slow. I thought maybe just a bad day so we went again on Easter for brunch. The eggs were hard boiled eggs not the way eggs Benedict should be. I complained to our server and she said I'll let them know. Service again was slow and the food cold when it arrived. Our server, Jeanne, who reminded us of Catherine O'Hara and that is a compliment, was excellent! First time here for us and she guided us through the drinks and very full dinner menu. Cocktails and wine were yummy! This bartender makes a fantastic Old Fashioned! Dinner and dessert lacked nothing! Loved it all! Got to meet the Mandy and she was as delightful as her restaurant! Went there recently for a late weekend lunch. Everything was great; food was excellent and our server (Nick) was efficient and personable. Price for two of us, this included a cocktail, was $70. The portions were generous enough that I took leftovers home. It is a lovely establishment, that also has outdoor seating. I would definitely go back again. I visited Mandy's for the first time February 22nd for brunch with girlfriends. We made our orders with a very very pleasant staff member and I am so sorry I did not get her name. She was attentive from the minute we were seated until we finished our meals and left. The food was excellent, the restaurant spotless. To make a long story short one of my girlfriends ordered the 5 cheese omelet, lightly fried seasonal squash, pecorino cheese and prosciutto. Before we were served the server explained to my friend the dish had been made incorrectly, saying the veggies, etc., were put into the omelet instead of under the omelet. My friend said it was fine, no problem! The server then brought our orders to the table right away. About midway through our meals the server came back to our table with another omelet for my friend and said the kitchen staff wanted her to see how the dish should have been done, comped the second omelet dish and brought a "to go" container. We were all stunned and complimented her. She said we, at Mandy's, want to keep our customers happy and we assured her we were all very happy with our meals. (BTW I had the Italian Eggs Benedict. I asked if I could get fresh tomato instead of sun dried and she said absolutely, no problem! Dish was excellent.) Hats off to Mandy's and wouldn't it be nice if every restaurant did that if the meal wasn't delivered as advertised? WOW...we will definitely be back again and again not because of the second comped meal but because the brunch was that good, the restaurant was spotless and the staff so very attentive, accommodating and friendly. read more

Ambiance is nice small place but not busy or crowded at all, went to catch up with friends and have a few drinks. Sat for over 2 hours but was still ordering drinks and we were told there was another reservation for the table we were sitting at. As we left, I counted 7 open tables. This is NOT a place to catch up with friends. You have a time limit. Eat/drink and go. If the specific table was reserved, why not ask us to move to a different table?
