I figured a new location would be best. I explained my previous experience to Morgan before she began and she seemed genuinely concerned and determined to make it better. The girl who did my last Brazilian did not wax everything, leaving quite a few unwanted hairs. In fact, my husband even suggested I fire my Waxer because he said she only did half the job. Note: Yes, I did specify that I wanted a full Brazillian. This was even after I came back 5 days later for a "touch up." Anyway, Morgan was extremely thorough and took the time to tweeze any strays that were left behind. She let the wax sit a little longer before ripping it off, and I believe this made a difference. Morgan is very down-to-earth and comfortable to be around. She is very professional but does not push the products. I did not feel any pressure to buy products or a package. *Update: after my most recent visit, I decided to buy a package. So 20 minutes later, I'm at her place getting groomed. I was back in my car after another 20 minutes. She was fast. Which was surprising to me considering I haven't been waxed in a long time. This was my first time sugaring and it was better than I expected. Since I haven't waxed in awhile, I was pretty embarrassed. But Viktoria made me feel comfortable. This isn't a typical salon, but she keeps it clean. This is not a typical spa experience, and the location wasn't what I was expecting. Sugarland is more like going over to your girlfriend's house for some grooming help. I saw her changing her gloves when she needed to get more from the jar, so that was reassuring in terms of cleanliness. While I was changing, she already started removing the disposable liner and spraying down the table already. I was actually surprised at the smoothness of my skin afterwards. I guess I'm hooked on sugaring. It's more than I'd like to pay compared to regular waxing (eg. $50).... But I think sugaring is better for my skin. I will be requesting more appointments in the future.

I had a phone consultation before my first appointment. At my appointment, my skin was analyzed to see sun damage and inflammation. We also went through my concerns and health history. It was very thorough and Kathleen was professional and very kind throughout the whole experience. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. She does a microcurrent facial and I believe it lasted about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, my skin was calm and glowing! I was interested in cleansers and a new moisturizer, she sent me home with samples to try and I never felt pressured to purchase any products.
