I got the cranberry walnut salad. It was the perfect meal for the last day of summer until the official start to fall. So delicious! The garlic bread was a very welcomed treat

We were in town for the Oregon 70.3 Ironman race, we were looking for a place to carbo load and happy to have found Mangiare which was short drive from out AirBnb. We had made a reservation for 7 and loved that we had a private room as a we can get loud at times! The Great: Service was excellent and loved the location. Large menu with something for everyone in our group, pasta dishes, chicken, and seafood were ordered and enjoyed. Prices were very reasonable across the menu and quite the bang for the buck. The Good: Food was solid, I had the Gnocchi with added on sausage and meatball. The meatball was very dry and hard though, cooked through till the beef was a bit crumbly but still tasty. The adult beverage menu while not huge had something for everyone to enjoy. The Okay: Other then my dry-ish meatball everything was quite good. Overall: Our group loved our dinner at Mangiare, 7 satisfied diners left feeling happy and full!

The service was friendly, quick and attentive. The food didn't stand out too much, but wasn't bad. We got the chicken sandwich with side Caesar salad as well as pasta. The pasta was good, and I would order it again as was the salad. The sandwich did not have a lot of flavor unfortunately.

Our server Elizabeth was amazing (as always) and was super helpful with all our requests. she even humored our request for Italian sodas in wine glasses which really made our evening. We ordered the fried ravioli app, the baked sausage main, and cheesecake and cannoli for dessert and the food was AMAZING. The atmosphere in here is amazing and very welcoming. would HIGHLY recommend!

Been here a few times years ago and food & service was excellent. This time, the bread was fresh, soft and tasty. Our server was... efficient. The decor is mixed, but quaint - some beautiful elements like the old wooden doors that are used as room dividers, but with 90s sponge painting on all of the walls. Had their chicken fettuccine but it was bland. Friends shared a large calzone. They liked it but it wasn't fancy. Hubs had a pasta with shrimp said it was ok. Yelp offered a free dessert upon check-in but staff was reluctant to honor it b/c although several customers had mentioned it before us, they still "didn't know who authorized it". Eventually they said they would honor it for one of us (out of 4) but didn't have the tiramisu so they would only give a scoop of ice cream. Meh. Felt like the least they could do was honor 1 piece of cake to split but when asked, the answer was No. Will we return? Probably, no.

So it wasn't bad but they needed to add more meat sauce. Also I didn't like the sauce as it was slightly watery.

This is an amazing place and the only reason why I give it four stars is because the portions need to be bigger.

We had the beet salad to start which was just perfect. The truffle burrata mousse was something I've never had before and it added a light creaminess to the dish. My friend had the pasta de la nonna and I had the special of the night. The pasta de la nonna was delicious, flavorful, and the noodles were something I've never fresh! It was more than just a red sauce. My ravioli was filled with something delicious (I wish I could remember now lol what it was). We had tiramisu for dessert since it was her birthday. Gnocchi was killer and the pizza was pretty good. The service was absolutely meh. We watched a table seated after us get drinks and salads before we even gave our drink order, and they got their meals before we ordered. We were pretty excited to order and stoked for the food here, so the meh service was really a bummer. We also were seated in the back, and it was really hot in that room. If I had it to do over again, I'd request the restaurant area up front. Overall, we'd go back to give it another go. But there was room for improvement for sure.

Disappointing Experience…read more I really wanted to enjoy our visit to Gambretti in Salem, especially since I remember the great food and service from their old location. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to those memories. The ambiance is definitely the highlight--it's a beautiful and inviting restaurant. However, the food and service left quite a bit to be desired. Our entrée needed additional seasoning, and one of my favorite wines from Willamette Valley was served in a water glass, which was disappointing for what is supposed to be a nice dining experience. It seems that the restaurant had only one server covering the entire restaurant, and she did an excellent job given the circumstances. She was attentive and did her best, but the overall service simply wasn't what I remember from Gambretti's old location. I hope this was just an off night because I'd really like to see Gambretti return to the level of food and service that made it memorable in the first place

Delicia or D, as she wanted to be called, was our server. She was friendly, helpful and made great suggestions for our order. All 4 of our family members were very satisfied with the menu selections we received. The food was delicious and cooked exactly the way we ordered it. After dinner, they was a problem with my rewards. She took it to the manager who solved the issue and corrected the final check. My family and I stopped by The Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The…read morerestaurant was super empty when we arrived, but looking around, the restaurant also seemed short-staffed. I've visited a number of Old Spaghetti Factory locations in California before, so I'm well familiar with the lunch menu. The loaf of bread that arrived on our table after we placed our order was piping hot. It was actually so hot, it was difficult to pick up and cut. There's no doubt that this bread is as fresh as it gets. The minestrone soup I opted for with my entree was filled to the brim and packed with a variety of veggies. If you're looking to cut some calories, you'll definitely want to go with the soup over one of their heavily dressed salads. My wife and I actually split their manager's favorite with meat sauce and mizithra cheese. We opted to up-size to a hearty portion for $4.99, which comes with extra sauce and noodles. The spaghetti was well cooked in terms of texture, but could have been drained a bit better. The meat sauce had a bunch of ground beef in it, and the mizithra cheese was salty, nutty, and tangy. If this is your first time visiting an Old Spaghetti Factory location, I highly recommend trying out the mizithra cheese because I have not see this option offered anywhere else. I regret to report that one dish our party ordered was completely dropped. It was difficult to flag down our server to inform them of the issue, so we ended up having to run around the restaurant to find a staff member. We ended up waiting close to 15 more minutes for the last dish to be prepared, at which point all the food that had been delivered earlier had dropped to being room temperature. Overall, it was a mixed meal. Service was somewhat lacking, and food was pretty standard as far as Old Spaghetti Factory locations.
