When I went to my appointment, they told me they didn't have Dysport and only had Daxxify. I ended up getting Daxxify twice and paid $500, which was almost double what I usually pay for my forehead treatment. It didn't work at all--no results. (I personally recommend not wasting your money on Daxxify.) I called them several times and asked for a refund. Eventually, they gave me another appointment for a Dysport treatment at no cost. But even after that, I still didn't get satisfying results. After all these injections and spending $500 just for my forehead, I personally do not recommend Ava Rejuvenation. I will definitely contact the Better Business Bureau about my experience. Please do your research before choosing where to go for your treatment.

After about 10 minutes, she started trying to put a purple sugar scrub on my legs. When I asked if it was lavender, she looked shocked and said "oh my gosh yes I am so sorry" and switched it out with a Cherry Sage sugar scrub instead. The rest of the pedicure went fine, until we hit the massage part. She put purple lotion on my legs, so I again asked: "is that lavender" she said yes and started to rub it in as I jerked away and said: "I AM ALLERGIC!" she immediately grabbed some towels and water and got it off but by then I was already getting dizzy from the smell. She finished my appointment with no other accidents, but for my safety I will not return. The owner of this establishment really should have a talk with his staff about what the words "allergy" and "allergic" mean.

I also called the clinic office and they could not provide me any details. I would not recommend this office due to their billing practices and lack of transparency. Edit: I was told I was billed for a "service" that required a copay by my insurance. The "service" was a quick question that took a couple minutes to answer/explain. I understand medical billing is complex, but I felt deceived that asking a doctor a question related to my visit resulted in additional copayment without my knowledge or consent, and I was only informed 8-9 months later. It is unfortunate and saddening that the medical system has created a system where patients can be taken advantage of where asking a doctor questions during an appointment can result in unexpected costs.

I have been seeing Archana for eyebrow threading for the past two years. When I came to her my brows were a mess from a previous threading studio. After a few months of coming every 3 weeks, she had given me my shape back and also made my brows looks great throughout the process of correcting. Archana pays careful attention to detail and has an artist's eye for shaping. I trust her completely and never have to worry which is such a gift to me. Not only is she skillful, but she is just a delight to interact with. Also, I'd like to add that her prices are very affordable. I noticed that there is $$$$ but I do not believe that accurately reflects her pricing. Don't let scare you away from reaching out to her if you're in need of her services. Archana is fantastic! I moved new to the area and found her through word of mouth and online ratings. She is very professional, thorough and an excellent aesthetician. She always does the perfect eyebrow threading and would also highly recommend her facials. She uses top notch natural products and the hour long sessions include the most amazing massage. This home based business is run by a person who cannot properly read or write. Not only is she likely stealing income from the owner of the salon on Union Avenue, but twice this person has texted the wrong address of her home salon to her eyebrow pulling clients. Either a) Her clients are too stupid to read or B) she sends them the wrong address. Anyway, next time one of her clients knocks on my door looking for the "Eyebrow Puller" I will adhere to the laws regarding defense of property. read more

A moral issue for me! I went to Hana Beauty Salon and had Archana do my eyebrows. Archana also told me I could also go to her house any time. I think is not moral to go to her house and not the salon. That means taking the money away from the salon. The salon is paying rent and insurance to be in a commercial location. She is not helping the salon stay in business if she has their clients go to her house. I have decided not to go to her house! read more

When we contacted the salon, the response felt defensive, suggesting she should have mentioned it during the facial and that deeper blackheads may require more than one session. While I understand this, the staff should have checked the results and explained any limitations before we left. We returned later, but the staff used a metal extraction tool very aggressively, causing significant pain. I also had to point out the remaining blackheads individually. When I privately shared my concerns, the response was dismissive and suggested I find another salon. I appreciate that they allowed us to return, but the poor communication, aggressive extraction, and lack of a final check made the experience disappointing. I hope they improve their customer service and ensure extractions are performed safely and gently.
