Fried food was great. Noodle dish was ok - I'm not a huge fan of Chinese Five Spice, so it didn't appeal to me. We reserved a table but were disappointed in the seating selection for a birthday dinner. Overall, it was good but I'd probably return for lunch. read more

First time to Mango Tree and we were very pleased. Our waitress was an intelligent young woman and was very knowledgeable about the menu and dishes. I ordered the Dynamite roll and the spicy yellow tuna rolls with my combination green curry. The Ultimate roll was for my son. The rolls were rich and flavorful with smoky spiciness VERY good! The green curry was well balanced between the spicy heat and the sweet creamy coconut milk. There were ample veggies and plenty of shrimp, beef, and squid so that every bite was new and you never felt bored with the dish. I poured my jasmine rice into my curry and it was a great thickener and made a delightful stew. By the time I was finished I was full, and had the spicy food sniffles, but even the spice wasn't too hot. Again, think well balanced! All in all we were very impressed with this humble restaurant and would be glad to return. read more

Its been difficult to have consistently high quality takeout during this time. I get it, businesses are under a lot of pressure during a pandemic so I've made a vow to limit any public complaints if my food doesn't rise to any egregious levels. I found that this was probably my freshest, highest quality meal I've had during this time and some of the best curry in Greater Cincy from my experience. Lastly shout out to the staff for having a tightly running pick up process that was super sanity. Everyone picking up had masks on and the staff asked folks to bring pens to reduce sharing of material but had plenty of sanitizer available and only allowed one customer in at a time. Since it opened, Mango Tree remains a go-to for my family and me. It's one of our favorite Thai places in all of Cincinnati. The food is great, always fresh and very flavorful. Plus, prices are affordable. I highly recommend any of the Fried Rice dishes, Pad Thai and Panang Curry! But honestly, I haven't tried anything I don't like yet. It's situated in a strip mall off Wooster Pike, close to Mariemont, Madeira and Madisonville. Parking is easy, as there are spaces right in front of the restaurant and lots of spaces available in the lot. We typically get carryout from here because it's fast and easy. The staff is always very friendly and the food is prepared quickly. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, especially the restrooms. There is never trash on the floors under the table or wobbly table legs, which can be annoying. The inside decor is minimal, with booth seating as an option for many tables. The interior space is big enough to give you space from the table next to you, but small enough that your dining experience feels intimate. If you're looking for an affordable yet delicious Thai restaurant in the area, I highly recommend checking out Mango Tree! You will be glad you did. read more

I ordered Crab Rangoon (crispy on the outside, deliciously creamy inside) and the Ginger Sauce entree with chicken and shrimp (0 heat). Fragrant & absolutely yum. Take out service was quick & friendly; I appreciated that the employees had on masks & gloves for virus safety; it's a nice little place not far from Mariemont square. Now, there's another thai place I like that provides more food at a little cheaper price. I don't care- I loved what I ate here, don't really need a huge portion and money is for spending... on food & travel. read more

Wow, what a great dinner! Mango Tree turned my "I don't eat Thai" line into a lie. The massaman shrimp curry was outstanding... rich, fresh and delicious. Medium hot was perfect, even felt a bit of a sweat coming on. My wife's Mango Tree sashimi salad was also fantastic. Very creative use of fish. She loved it, as did I. Had a few rolls and dumplings which were very good as well. Mango Tree is a hike from our home in Wyoming, but we'll certainly make the trip again! read more

Mango Tree is my family's favorite Thai restaurant. Recently we've been getting take-out more than dining in, but dining in is always nice too. We can't speak to the sushi but we've fallen into some steady favorites off the regular menu - pad thai, rama garden, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry. This place continues to be one of my favorites for a quick, delicious lunch. The Mango Tree has your standard pad Thai and curries, plus sushi and a selection of Thai "street food" options that are a little out of the ordinary. My standard order is the green curry, which tastes so fresh and vibrant compared to other versions I've had. It's delicious and creamy, but not so much that it weighs you down. I like the lunch deals where you get a main course with miso soup, salad, rice or noodles, fruit and potstickers. It's a perfect amount of food! My only criticism is that the potstickers weren't great last time I went. They were deep fried but not hot when they arrived at the table, and had gotten kind of chewy. Personally, I'd order them steamed if that were an option. Overall, love this place and I hit it up whenever I start daydreaming about green curry. Yum. read more

Sushi is really good and they have more than just sushi. When I go back I will probably try some of the Thai food. The spring rolls were delicious. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a bit pricey. There are numerous places in Cincinnati were I can get comparable sushi for 50% off if I dine in.
