    Mango Smoothie
    Kee Lashay T.

New Dessert Place Alert : Mangoholic (@mangoholicvb ) I ordered the strawberry and mango overload and a mango pineapple smoothie. I must say - these two drinks were sooo bomb . My favorite was the mango and strawberry overload for sure though! It's a MUST TRY! I would definitely recommend you trying them out. 10/10. They have (2) locations with the newest one being the oceanfront. - IG: @KeeLashayTV . * .: 901 Atlantic Ave Virginia Beach, VA 2345

My sister and I were at Lynnhaven Mall and knew this place had Elote en vaso. We stopped by to give it a try. We both ordered the spicy version. The lady working was nice and met us with a smile. Our orders came out quickly. It was a good serving, I couldn't finish mine, but it was given to us nice and hot. It was really good! The mayo seemed to be all the way at the bottom, so we had to put in some work to get it all mixed up. But it was really yummy, and the crunchy, spicy Takis were a great addition. I just think it maybe needed cilantro and maybe sour cream/crema. But maybe it's hard for them to have fresh cilantro on hand. But that's just my preference, it was still yummy. Overall really enjoyed our snacks and the quick service!

Loved this tasty spot! Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and I got my mango Tajín fix, nice and refreshing on the oceanfront! Yum! They have so much more sweet options too. Cant wait to bring my kiddo :)

This place is really good! Not many like it in the area, I've only been to a few places that were in some local tiendas. Fruit tasted fresh, I will return to try more!

Well, first of all, it's hard to make kids eat fruits! But they loved their fresh fruit with sprinkles and ice cream! They are super generous with their serving!! ...and uh??!! the mangoes and whatever they put on there is so freaking delicious!!! The big chunks makes you appreciate the mangoes more bec you get to chew it, savor the flavor But, i specifically like their mango twister, and every time, i ask for the sour one, unripe, cos i just love that kick, it goes well with (again, whatever they put on it) And my next favorite thing is the CHEESY CORN, gaaaahhh it's so simple yet so good!! I have yet tried the mangonad, but that's my next one and i'm afraid it's going to replace my two other favorites!

Cantaloupe smoothie, wasn't even filled to the rim. Threw in fruits so gravity will make the liquid rise.

If you're looking for a more traditional berry smoothie, the Post Workout is a must-try. In my opinion, the pricing matches the quality and it's definitely worth it. The shop was super cute and they had a little shop in the front section. Quick counter service. Some seating inside and a small private parking lot! We opted for the window counter, captivated by the cool green and white rattan high chairs. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, accommodating our lack of menu knowledge. We ordered the green goddess soup and green goddess toasts, accompanied by a warm apple cider. The flavors were simply remarkable, a blend of savory and clean, allowing the freshness of the ingredients to really shine through. They also didn't skimp on ingredients, but no a one overpowered the overall flavor. As we enjoyed our meals, the restaurant gradually filled with people, confirming its popularity. The food here is not only healthy but also incredibly delicious. We will be back!

When I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff and I was drawn to the decor. Straight back it looked like a little library, how cute! For a holiday, it wasn't busy! There were about 6 other people in there, 5 of them being together. After taking way too long to decide, I went with the "coffee date" smoothie which had cold brew coffee, almond milk, banana, peanut butter, raw cacao and dates. The small was $12.12. A little pricey; but for organic nowadays, that's the price you pay! While I waited, I admired the ambiance of the spot, even the bathroom was aesthetic! It happened to be Fruitives birthday over the weekend, so Chris at the front gave me a reusable bamboo straw and a little keychain! So sweet. My order took about 5 minutes! The first sip was exactly what I was looking for. Something refreshing, slightly sweet and the perfect morning pick me up! I enjoyed my smoothie outside for a little before heading out to finish my errands. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, depending on your vibe! I definitely look forward to stopping by again to grab one of their food items! The bowls and wraps sounded sooo good.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the sleek coastal vibes, and being able to enjoy cocktails on the patio with sweeping ocean views made the evening feel extra special. Tulu is all about locally sourced, sustainable food, and as someone who pays attention to what I eat, I LOVED their health conscious approach. The menu has tons of gluten and dairy-free options, and the focus on fresh, local ingredients is clear in every bite (and sip)!! We started the night with drinks: a round of espresso martinis (heaven!), a glass of moscato for one friend, and a French 75 for another. The cocktail menu is chef driven, featuring house-infused spirits and fresh ingredients, definitely a highlight if you're a cocktail fan. For dinner, I devoured the Mediterranean Nachos: roasted garlic hummus, crisp pita, mint quinoa tabbouleh, marinated garbanzo beans, kalamata olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, and tzatziki. It was vibrant, flavorful, and a perfect shareable plate. 10 out of 10! My friends had tje Fennel Pollen Dusted Shrimp & Scallops over farro pilaf with asparagus and mushrooms, and Lemon Grilled Mahi Mahi with roasted fingerling potatoes, tomato, romesco, and olive tapenade Chipotle Agave Glazed Salmon paired with fingerling potatoes and a lively escabeche. Oh and we finished the Tiramisu for dessert in 5 seconds. Each dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and didn't weigh us down (bonus: calorie counts are on the menu!). Tulu is a seriously special spot that makes healthy taste indulgent. I can't wait to go back and enjoy a cocktail in the lawn chairs overlooking the waves this summer.

We biked here, so I'm unsure how parking works. The restaurant is also stylish with their floating plants above the bar. Floor to ceiling windows wrap the space to let the sunlight in and see the ocean. On the day we ate there, they had all the doors open to let the breeze in with an option to eat on the patio. It was beautiful. The downside to all this open air? Flies! And there were several attacking our food. I was constantly swatting while eating which was a definite mood killer. I added salmon. Twelve dollars to add salmon is pretty steep, especially for the amount of salmon that I received. Not to mention the salmon was VERY DRY and tasteless. The salad itself was good but could've used some avocado or another "wet" vegetable. My boyfriend got the mushroom flatbread. The crust was thicker than he was expecting, but the man eats anything, so he was satisfied. In my opinion its size wasn't worth the seventeen dollar price tag. I apologize I didn't get a photo, but let's just say it barely filled the plate. A $52 dollar bill for a salad and pizza tells me we're paying for that view (we both had water to drink). The place needed a good sweeping between turning tables too. There were cantaloupe chunks on the floor under our table when we were seated. This doesn't help with their fly problem. Finally, service was incredibly slow and most of their employees looked like they didn't want to be there (i.e. nobody was smiling). The place was semi-busy, but even with a water carafe on our table we still had empty water glasses. Unacceptable. Thankfully, I bring a deck of cards in my purse so we played several rounds while waiting for our food and for the check.

The flavor was amazing for my choice, the' spicy burrito meal', only negatives was the rice was undercooked. Had it not been for that, it would have been absolutely perfect. Between the flavor and spice level I honestly thought that it had the potential of being my favorite new try of the month. 4/5 My sister on the other hand got the club sandwich on a croissant meal, sadly she said even though it was good it was just too dry. Visually a bit messy but fresh produce was prevalent. 3/5 We both ordered a pineapple smoothie, good but a tad too watery and I'm sure the heat of the day did make it worse as it melted the smoothie so quickly. 3/5 She also ordered a plain cheese quesadilla, it was supposed to be kids sized but I believe since they had forgot to make it they hurriedly made a large sized one. It was just your basic cheese quesadilla. Our two main meals came with chips and a drink, for the price this was a great deal. While service was good, it was slow. The young man who took our order did have a positive attitude but with it only being 2 people working and a large group of people wanting to order or receive their order; the wait was hard. Service was 4/5 . In the end I think they did a great job and I'm sure they'll keep working towards being one of the best Food Trucks in our area. Worth a try.
