No complaints. They had great bar food + drinks + fairly quick for food and drinks. Ambiance was very inviting from the moment we came in. We were originally going to PT's right next door and I thought, how strange to put another bar right next door. But then we found out PT's was not serving any food so then we walked a few doors down and came over here instead and I am very pleased with the alternative & now I'm thinking it was a great idea to put this right next door! If you're in the area looking for drinks + food this is The Spot

We visited on Saturday, for lunch, with a party of three adults and two small children and it was a nice experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away in a half booth. The waitress came by and took orders, their margaritas are refreshing. We started with appetizers; Funky Monkey Bread, Wings, and Hummus Plate. They were all well prepared and tasty, the wings were a bit dry, could have used more sauce. From there went went with the NY Steak, BBQ Bahn Mi, Loaded Mac & Cheese and Kids' Fish & Chips and Spaghetti. The food was excellent and cooked to order. The service was the only issue. The place was pretty much empty, but the service was very, very slow. The waitress might have been the only server on shift, but she rarely showed up to check on us initially. The food came out after long intervals, and refills were overdue on drinks. It did get a bit better near the end of the meal. Overall a great place for food and drinks.

Walked into Applebees and a couple immediately noticed our reactions when we saw that not one TV was playing the Golden knights game! The couple suggested we go to THE SPOT!! I immediately knew where it was due to passing it countless times! I have to say, I can't imagine why they would have gone to Apple bees over this place, especially if they knew they would be playing the game! The service was exceptional! Devin was friendly & although he was extremely busy, he was quick! Our drinks were constantly replenished, & he checked on us often! The food exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is very modern and low light, which I LOVE! This place may become my new go to! Thank you to the strangers for suggesting this Gem!

The server was fantastic, super on top of it, kept drinks full, and explained everything on the menu. It's a bar feel but overall pretty spacious with tvs everywhere so you won't struggle to see a tv. The food was decent. The egg rolls were easily one of the best things on the entire menu that we had especially with the spicy mayo sauce. The chicken parm is served with the sauce and cheese poured over it so it stays crispy. The pasta that comes with it though was not good. I'm not sure if it was just not my taste but their marinara is simply not good tasting, this is the same with the marinara they give you for dipping the monkey bread. The pizza was ok, nothing special. The monkey bread was not fantastic. It was ok but nothing special.

The food is amazing, prices are very reasonable and the size portions are huge!! Been wanting to try this place for a while as I heard their fish and chips are amazing so finally got the opportunity to eat there and it was amazing. Starts off with an interesting drink that was sweet and potent: . For started we had their garlic cheesy bread and this thing is a meal in itself. The bread with the melted cheese was delicious! This thing could feed 4-6 people as an appetizer. Next was two main course: The guacamole burger and a chicken parmesan. Both were delicious and huge. Did I say the portion size are huge? The burger was cooked perfect and tasted delicious. Not too much guacamole (some places add too much) . Burger comes with fries but we got a side salad which was good. Now the chicken parmesan was incredible! First off the bring the chicken fillet out yo the table then slowly pour a molten mix of cheese, red tomato sauce with garlic all over the chicken (truly a thing of beauty lol). Did I say the Parmesan was huge? Anyway this was delicious and o could only eat half of it. It came with a side of spaghetti which was really good for not being a meat sauce. My only complaint was the speed of the staff, only one waiter for our area and it was busy otherwise an excellent experience. Differently coming back and bringing friends here!

Immediately greeted warmly by the hostess and seated according to whether we were there to drink (bar area) or if we wanted to kick back, watch the football game and eat The atmosphere was cool with an eclectic music selection for everyone. The food was hot and good. The fish and chips were good, but the only issue is that they had no flavor. The batter to fish ratio was perfect (cooked all the way through). The fish and batter were not seasoned, but the fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce were seasoned to perfection and added the flavor to the fish if eaten together. The cuban sandwich was good, but the ham was tough to bite through. Everything else was flavorful in the sandwich though. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!!!!! Customer service was amazing!!!!!

This was a cool place to check out. The famous chicken parm brought us in. Right when we walked in everyone was really nice. There weren't many people but we came in between lunch and dinner. We ordered the jalepeno cheese dip appetizer, with crustini's. I ordered the chicken parm but substituted the spaghetti for broccolini. The chicken was pounded out so it was thin and crispy. When they serve it, they bring the sauce and cheese out in a pan and the pour it on top of the chicken. I was very happy about that because I'm a texture person and I liked that the chicken was so crispy and then has the hot layer of sauce and cheese over it. Overall, our meal was good and we enjoyed the experience. I did order iced tea and I'm pretty sure it was powdered but for that being my only complaint, it wasn't too bad.

Meet my cousins visiting here watching some playoff baseball plus TNF. We sat at the bar area. I like the set up not very big, three decent size tv all next to one another both sides, and on the sides plus another one on wall. Since not big bar area almost feels like personnel sport book. They had TNF, baseball game, and VGK game. All different screens. The service five stars. Waitress was awesome. Later night other cousin showed so odd number five. They nice enough rearrange extra table. She on it the whole time. The food pizza could have been better. The rest of the food my cousins ordered looked good. The pizza definitely burnt lot of spots. U could see and surprise served it. Overall cool place to watch games with five star service.

The viral post on this place had me CRAVING fish & chips like no tomorrow, so we had to check them out! Located on the northeast corner of Durango and DI, this awesome spot is at the far end of the shopping plaza with lots of parking. The restaurant itself is big with tables, booths, high tops, and a bar! Our waiter, Jacob, was super rad and welcomed us immediately. He gave us the option of sitting in the dining room or the bar, but they were playing Friends on the TV, so we opted for the dining room (of course). Friends, wins, always! We ordered the brisket Mac & cheese egg rolls and the famous fish & chips. As we were waiting for our food, the owner came out and talked to us about the restaurant, the watch parties they host there (go, VGK!), and the business dinners! We also found out they catered our welcome back breakfast at school this year! (Which was YUM!) Our food came out ridiculously hot and it was delicious!!!!! The fish was crispy and tasted amazing - the tartar sauce is insane! The egg rolls are so stupid good, but I did think the ranch was a little weird for me. They are good without a dip, tbh. The FRIES were the best I've had in years! So crispy, seasoned perfectly, hot and excellent! We decided to order a sourdough crust pizza to go so my parents could try the amazingness! We will be back, and as the SPOT offers NFL Sunday ticket, we might become regulars!

"broccolini" lol this is NOT broccolini

Came here for trivia - this place is super cute! (Ordered broccolini and I'm 99% sure this is not broccolini lol)

    New york steak. So tough
    Sary O.

Social media hyped this spot for having the best fish & chips, so we gave it a try. It's about 20 minutes from the Strip. We came around 7:30pm and the place was pretty empty. We ordered the fish & chips, Brussels sprouts, New York steak, and a milkshake. The fish & chips were a letdown while I liked the crisp batter, the fish itself wasn't tender (4/10 for me). The steak was even worse. I asked for medium to medium-well, but it was so tough I couldn't even cut it even after they brought out four different steak knives. The broccolini was hard too. Service was super slow, which added to the disappointment, though the waitress herself was nice. Overall, the food was NOT!

Vibe: Sophisticated, Professional, and Energetic…read more For anyone looking to impress a client, close a deal, or celebrate a milestone with colleagues, finding the right venue for a business lunch can be a delicate balancing act. You need an environment that is sophisticated but not stuffy, lively but quiet enough for serious conversation, and supported by a culinary program that commands respect. The George Sportsmanship Lounge delivers on all of these fronts with remarkable grace, redefining what a modern business lunch can--and should--be. The Atmosphere: Polished Athletic Heritage Meets Executive Comfort Walking into George, you are immediately struck by how masterfully the design bridges the gap between a high-end club and a refined, modern lounge. The decor pays a tasteful, artistic homage to the spirit of "sportsmanship"--think rich leather banquettes, beautifully curated vintage sporting photography, warm walnut accents, and low, ambient lighting that feels incredibly exclusive. For a business lunch, the layout is exceptionally well-thought-out. The seating is spaced generously to offer genuine privacy for confidential conversations, and the acoustics are engineered beautifully; there is a vibrant hum of energy in the room, yet you never have to raise your voice to be heard across the table. It strikes the perfect balance of prestige and approachable comfort. The Food: A Masterclass in Contemporary American Cuisine While the ambiance sets the stage, the culinary execution is the true star of the show. The menu at George elevated our business lunch from a standard meeting into a memorable dining experience. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo, which was exceptionally fresh, accented with a vibrant citrus-yuzu vinaigrette and thinly sliced serrano peppers--a light, refreshing starter that perfectly primed the palate. For the mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye Frites and the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: The Ribeye: Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted an incredible crust and a rich, deeply savory flavor profile. Accompanied by truffle-infused hand-cut frites and a velvety chimichurri, it was a decadent but perfectly portioned lunch masterpiece. The Sea Bass: This dish was a revelation. Flaky, buttery, and resting on a bed of ginger-infused heirloom grains and baby bok choy, it was light enough for a midday meal while remaining deeply satisfying and complex in flavor. Even the non-alcoholic beverage program deserved applause; their mocktails, particularly the cucumber-basil press, were sophisticated and felt just as celebratory as a traditional cocktail. The Service: Impeccable, Swift, and Discreet Great food can easily be overshadowed by poor service, but at George, the staff understands the rhythm of a business lunch. From the moment we were greeted by the host, the service was seamless. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering precise recommendations and timing the courses beautifully. Crucially for a business meeting, the staff practiced "discreet hospitality"--they were highly attentive, ensuring water glasses were always filled and plates were cleared promptly, yet they never interrupted the flow of our conversation at critical moments. The entire meal was paced perfectly, wrapping up within a comfortable 75 minutes, leaving us plenty of time to return to the office without feeling rushed. The Verdict The George Sportsmanship Lounge successfully shatters the mold of the traditional, outdated steakhouse business lunch. By combining a stunningly curated, upscale atmosphere with world-class gastronomy and highly professional service, they have created the ultimate venue for the modern executive. It is a masterclass in hospitality, and it has easily secured its spot as my go-to recommendation for lunch meetings. Highly Recommended for: Client entertainment, executive team lunches, and power midday dining.

The next two times, it was quite desolate and I was looking for a vibe. The fourth time - this time, it was bustling and had a great vibe inside. It was around 5pm on a Friday and there were a couple seats left at the bar without a gaming machine - which is my preference. I like that there is half of the bar where it's just table and no machine. This allows you to enjoy bar sitting without gaming. There's several high tops and tables throughout the restaurant as well. The vibe is very friendly and there's good conversations with the other patrons at the bar - good Summerlin social vibes. Having snacked within the past hour, I shared the Hatch Chile Burger and I'm glad I did. It's an $18 burger, but it's PLENTY BIG. It's a double stacked patty and there's a lot of good stuff on it - hatch chile, fresh avocado and your traditional fixings. I chose fries to accompany the burger and the fries came out hot and fresh with a nice delicate seasoning. Overall - very solid burger. The menu says it's a favorite and I can see why. They do have a Happy Hour M-F from 2-5pm, but I had just missed it. There's a couple items on there and there's a Reverse Happy Hour Sun-Thurs 9-11pm as well. I will say that it's an encouraging start to try other items next time since the burger was very good.
