I see a lot one and two star reviews for Mango's Village, but for being located in an airport terminal one really can't really expect all that much. It does have some good points. First off, it's the only place in JetBlue Terminal A that serves alcohol and second, it's the only place that isn't a part of a fast food chain or a part of the cafeteria food court like seating. I stopped by, had one of the local San Juan Medalla draft beers, which though pricey at $8.50, typical of airport bars, and an order of calamari. To my delight the calamari was of a full plate portion, came with two different dips and though again airport pricey, really tender, tasty and properly prepared. I can't really rave about Mango's, but the food I had was good and my service professional and polite; all actually being better than found in most other airport terminals. So for what it is, an airport terminal restaurant, Mango's isn't really all that bad and for me certainly beats having to eat crap fast food along with the horrors of having to sit around and endure food court table seating experience.

This was the only restaurant by the JetBlue terminals that you can sit comfortably and be served. The only issue I had with the menu was that you cannot access all selections at certain times. However our waiter did offer accommodations and suggestions since one of us was in the mood for lunch. I would say the prices were decent for airport food. And the taste was pretty good. Staff was prompt friendly and on point.

Came for breakfast because there aren't many choices in the terminal. I expected to pay much more since we are at the airport. The food is very basic, don't expect to be blown away. $12 for two fried eggs, three strips of bacon, one piece of cheap white bread toast, and "hash browns" which are really nine tater tots. $10 for three pieces of French toast made out of the same cheap white bread slices and three strips of bacon. We ordered orange juice, $4 each and the server brought large cups of what tasted like sour water with ice and a lighter color than Tang. We told her that they tasted like water and maybe the syrup for the fountain needs to be changed. She said that she knew it was low but didn't have any to change it. That part is what annoys me. She knew it was not the right quality and still served it to us like she thought we wouldn't notice.

Stopped in for breakfast while waiting for our delayed flight in terminal A. Service was slow out of the gate, we were at our table waiting for a server for quite some time, not what you hope for at an airport, especially when it wasn't very crowded here. Food was ok, it's airport food after all, and of course overpriced. I had the pancakes and bacon. Bacon was crispy and greasy, pancakes a bit dry but fine. Server was friendly. Ok for an airport breakfast, not sure if worth the premium though compared to Burger King next door.

It's really delicious, I ate salmon and was amazing! And the service was really good!

Good spot in Luis Munoz airport for breakfast and coffee. The service is quick and the server makes an excellent Puerto Rican cafe con leche. Of course my breakfast sandwich was pressed - I went with ham egg and cheese and it came with deep fried tator tots. Absolutely yummy - and I could only eat half - took the other half to eat on the plane.

It's just that you're basically getting food truck vibes and what is essentially street food for a nice, full service price point. The food is hearty- you don't need to order much to get full. Stick to what this place is good at, arepas. They load it to the max and their assortment of sauces are pretty impressive. One thing I gotta say though, $10 for an orange juice is egregious at any level. I could be at the four seasons in Bali and that would still make me raise my eyebrows. Even then I ordered it like a doof and it was like 3/4 ice!! C'mon yall, just take it off the menu if it's like that. Overall, the 24-hour aspect is nice and the food is decent. I can see myself paying a premium after a long night out, but just watch what you get because that bill can run up quick.

This place doesn't provide a lot of seating, but it has a huge selection of hot sauce from all across the world on a table outside surrounded by a few benches. We ordered the tequenos de queso and the reina pepiada arepa. Everything was AMAZING and full of flavor! Service was super fast, and their margaritas were absolutely delicious! This is a great little place to visit while in Puerto Rico!

After looking over the menu which was kind of pricey I decided to go with shrimp in creole sauce with rice and Parcha (passion fruit juice). You could sit inside or outside we opted for outside as you could watch the planes go by as it's literally right next to the airport. It was a nice scenery. While the servers were very nice the food did take awhile which was a little disappointing but the told us they're short staffed and there was a lot of customers. But we waited and I'm glad we did because this was the best creole shrimp I've ever had! The flavor, the taste, the way it was made perfecto! I was so happy with my meal and the jugo de chinola (passion fruit juice) was amazing even had pieces of pulp in it, which I'm a big passion fruit drinker and I've never had the seeds left in it or the pulp pieces and it was sooooooo good. I think everything was extremely delicious. Just the food did take awhile and the parking here is horrible, there's not much space and it gets packed quick. But if you're hungry after a long flight and want real Puerto Rican food, give it a go!

Attire was relaxed-- I saw ladies in pants as well as dresses, men in pants and shorts, but the staff was dressed sharply in all black. We waited a bit while two hosts and a manager worked to assemble several tables on the patio for a group of ten which had arrived before us. The patio decor-- murals and greenery, were beautiful. We requested indoor seating near the bar, and were the second of four tables to be filled. The indoor seating was a bit darker, had two bartenders working nonstop, and three televisions were playing inside. The inside seating area was quieter and more intimate (plus cooler in temperature) than the patio option. Our server, Raul, promptly greeted us and asked if we preferred English or Spanish. Promising to give honest recommendations of our selections, he did-- and made great suggestions as well. We started with risotto balls as an appetizer-- the guava dipping sauce was delicious. They were cheesier than my husband could stomach, so several remained on our plate. For our entrees, my husband chose the Ropa Vieja en Canoa (peeled, hollowed out like a canoe). I selected the Fried Red Snapper (served whole) with creole sauce, a house salad (lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, orange slices, mango dressing) and fried sweet plantains. After a bite, I asked for a glass of Blanc de Blancs, which was a wonderful, crisp pairing. We could not finish our meals, much less entertain the offer of dessert. By the time we left, all four tables were being served inside, there were four gyesss eating dinner at the bar, and the patio seating looked maxed out as well. Ropa Vieja was certainly the best dinner experience we've had in these first three nights in San Juan. So happy the reviews were on point with this one!

None had been pre poured so we pointed this out and he took it back and brought a replacement bottle. Was not a good start to the meal. The experience ended up being a bit disappointing. The food was decent, but not anything special, especially given the prices. Some of the dishes lacked flavor, and a couple items came out lukewarm, like they'd been sitting for a while although nothing is piping hot in Europe. I was expecting more authentic, bold flavors which it was not. Service was hit or miss it appeared depending on the server and the table. It took longer than it should have to get our food and even simple things like refills were slow. It felt a little disorganized, especially considering it wasn't that busy. The atmosphere is nice and the location is convenient there but it just didn't quite come together on this visit. Not a terrible experience overall, but there's room for improvement. As a tourist you typically give a place one shot and this was it.
