Sippin' on some black on the rocks. Hopefully this will help put me to sleep on my flight
    Lina Y.

Having a late lunch before catching my flight. At the Empanada de manchego y chistorra with a black on the rocks to wash it down. Also ordered a Jamón Serrano, added pesto sauce per bartenders recommendation, for my I flight snack. ^^* It's a bit pricey, but would you expect any less from a restaurant in an airport?? But the service is GREAT!!

    So good!

Husband and I got the paella dish and the another dish with red meat and cheese (can't remember name. We both got sparkling waters and the tab came out to $55. Not only was this place fast and convenient, but most importantly the food was amazing and the service was even better. Waiter and staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. Every time I stop at San Juan I'll make sure to eat here!

    Goya boxed rice?
    Lauren H.

This is almost everything that's wrong with airport food. The salad Marques is a small serving of bagged lettuce and microwaved chicken breast all for a measly $17. As my boyfriend opined, "You can get a better salad at McDonald's." I fared slightly better with my paella mixta. Seafood was tasty and tender, but calling it paella is gutsy. I'm pretty sure it was the Goya brand boxed yellow rice with some chopped red pepper, onion, and green bean. For that, the flavor was awesome because I enjoy the instant rice. Service was good and they have a nice selection of wines, beers, and spirits. I guess I said it all in my opening, this is your typical airport food.

My wife and I ordered the Tomato bread for an appetizer which wasn't bad, our waitress forgot the oil but wasn't a big deal. For entrees we ordered Paella and mixed salad, only took about 15 minutes to arrive and tasted alright. Overall the only real gripe I have is that you're paying real restaurant prices for plastic ware and food that I could make better myself(not saying a whole lot) Decent service, food, and atmosphere. I'd eat here again if I was crunched for time before a flight.

Sándwich de Jamón Serrano y queso Manchego. Delicioso!

Great alternative of fresh food. I've tried the Jamón Serrano sandwich and was delicious!

The salad dressing tasted like bile, and the menu did not list actual price. Avoid salad and verify price, then you'll be ok.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been. Everything is over price, the water was charged 4 which even more expansive than coke.

Aalyah, thank you so much for making our last meal in San Juan so special!! The portions are huge! I split an app with 3 people and honestly the main dishes can be split among two people as well. It was very tasty especially the chicken, and the ribs! The place also looked amazing and we were given a semi-private room for such a large group. Thanks for having us!!

We visited on a Monday night without a reservation and almost didn't get a table. The hostess was incredibly kind and explained that there was an 8:00 p.m. reservation that hadn't been confirmed. She offered to seat us if the party didn't arrive within the grace period. Thankfully, they never showed up, and the table became ours. From that point on, everything was fantastic. The food was spectacular, and the service was just as impressive. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is charming and inviting--it really does feel like dining in a cozy "casita." If you're visiting San Juan, Casita Miramar is absolutely worth a visit. Great food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience.

The kiosks toward the front definitely looked way more lively. I got a chicken pincho, which was just okay, and a yucca alcapurria that was pretty greasy and barely had any meat in it. The frozen guava margarita tasted like super sweet juice with a random shot on top that spilled when I carried it to my table. It was too sweet and too weak for me, so I didn't finish it. The chill part was being right next to the beach in a quieter area, which was really nice. But overall, the food and drink picked were pretty mediocre. I'd definitely try one of the busier kiosks in the beginning next time.

They were the only restaurant open for business. I ordered a beef empanada or pastelillo (fried turnover), yuca beef alcapurria(fried fritter)& a bacalaito(fried codfish fritter). Unfortunately, everything was overly greasy like it had been sitting there for a while. Usually, these are all made fresh by order. I used napkins to try to blot off excess oil but it just soaked it up & stayed greasy. The empanada & alcapurria lacked flavor. My food didn't have the typical hot crisp bite it's supposed to have. I was truly disappointed(the food def didn't hit the mark or spot). On the bright side, the woman working was nice & had quick service! I sat on a bench near the little hut-style restaurant to @ least catch the nice PR weather! Honestly, that was the only thing that got me happy to be there!
