Y'all ... Mon-Fri they are open from 9:30-9 freaking 30 in the evening... IN THE SUBURBS!!! Plus the are literally across the street from the Manhasset LIRR station, it's a crazy dream come true! They've been in business for over 10 years and I don't know why it took me this long to find them. A very clean and bright interior with clear signs for pricing, which are all reasonable, and they offer every service you can think of from your finger nails to your toe nails to eyebrows to lashes to waxing to facials. Only thing they don't offer are full body massages from what I overheard them telling a customer. Staff is so friendly and welcoming and apologized profusely for making me wait a few minutes which I haven't ever experienced before either, the apologizing part I mean lol. Loved how my gel pedicure on my Flintstone toes came out and when I asked if they could do a quick color gel on my ragged looking finger nails last minute, they happily obliged. My nails were pretty disgusting. The staff here definitely know how to fix that! I usually don't like getting gel manicures because of the UV light exposure, but they had a new dip powder gel that doesn't use it! This place is very quaint and had a homey vibe to it. All of the staff is very experienced and attentive to your preferences. It's usually packed during spring/summer time so do try to make an appointment. Even if you don't, they are very welcoming and will do their best to accommodate. read more

Always a delight getting my nails done here. I've brought some friends with me as well and they were equally pleased. Nail dip powders are $40! I like them better than gel because it's much harder to chip, more like acrylic. Only downside is that it takes longer to remove them, but I feel like my nails are healthier than when I use gel. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They also give you a mini massage at the end! read more

I happen to be in the area and needed to get my nails done so I have this place a try. I called first they said I can come in this was at 7:30pm so of course I was happy because it most places close at that time in the area. I was greeted by Chris who did my nails she was nice and personable. I did the permanent French and was total satisfied as it can out better then expected. It was a good experience and I will definitely be coming back. The salon is clean and there's parking in area and because they open until 9:30pm is a plus. read more

I even travel from another county to her Manhasset salon (bypassing an infinite number of nail salons in between) because I have so much confidence in the cleanliness of this salon and Jenny's expertise with the most up to date nail procedures. I have recently been getting the gel powder with French tips and have received many compliments on my nails! by far the strangest manicure ive ever gotten, asked for acrylic fill in on the phone got to the place and didn't see acrylic on the menu so i once again asked the nail tech to ensure they had acrylic she assured me they did. she then proceeded to use one coat of sns builder and layers of nail glue whilst filing my nails for an hour - they obviously do not use acrylic at this salon which i dont understand why they wouldn't just tell me on the phone or when i arrived, what they did was unheard of - no other salon would do that, i couldve at least asked for sns or UV gel had i known - needless to say i will not be returning. i think it's also worth noting there was no language barrier and she had the nerve to criticize my nails and tell me she needed to use a bunch of nail glue because of breakage (there was no breakage). if there were to have been "so much breakage" why would you not tell your client they need a new set?? at the end she charged me $60 and i asked her what i just got, i said that wasn't acrylic she said yes that was acrylic powder, what?!!! one coat of sns dip powder lol ive been getting my nails done pretty consistently for nearly two decades, i know the difference. the sns powder was also confirmed by her using the "activator" that u use with sns. so angry i wasted an hour and a half of my life here. i love my fast and real acrylic nails and am so disappointed with this. read more

The worse manicure I've ever gotten. There is polish all over my cuticles that they didn't remove. And the polish coat is uneven.

Coming off the train this is the first nail salon and they have good hours. I have never used it before this one time and won't ever go back. I was surprised to see that the equipment was not sterilized. It was reused from customer to customer. The worst thing I saw was someone using the electric file on their mouth! I have no idea what the person was doing, but she didn't have a customer and seemed to have some sort of issue and she put the drill bit in her mouth several times! And then wiped it off. So I'm assuming she was going to use it on the next customer! No thank you. I have to say that my manicure looked nice but I could never go back there again. read more

Awesome service! I get a shellac manicure in manhattan every other week and this salon did such a great job I would rather come here! Came in right off the lirr and asked for a quick mani pedi. Very affordable and attentive service. The girls were so polite and the manicure was done with detail, something a lot of manicurist skip over. Very clean, also! Great experience. I just went to Manhasset Nails for a 12 noon manicure appointment today September 18. I had to wait 18 minutes to get started; I was on a lunch break from work and did not have 18 minutes to waste. The place is dirty, the nail polishes are old and cakey. The instruments are not clean. The lady I had skipped several steps that every other manicurist does. I paid extra for "quick dry" whatever that is. My manicure looks terrible!! The biggest mistake I made was giving a nice tip. Conclusion: AVOID THIS PLACE. I certainly will not go back. read more
