What a fantastic addition to the Port nail salon scene. The are several here I would not go back to because either customer service sucks or their services are subpar. But not the case here at Jasmine! Struggling to stay afloat since the pandemic, this Grace is really kind, personable and knowledgeable and not out to just take every penny of your hard earned money. I say that because when I noticed that they do eyelash extensions, I asked her what she charged and the first thing she asked is if I wear contacts and when I said yes, she explained why it's not a good idea for me to do it because it may irritate my eyes and I may have a harder time getting my contacts in and out. I totally appreciated the honesty. They offer not just led, uva and powder gel mani/pedis as well as the regular polish type as well and amazing nail stone art design if you are looking for some nail bling too! But there is a full time aesthetician for all your skin care needs and a I said eyelash extensions as well as eyelash perms. In a town with far too many mediocre nail salons, this is the best place to go for a professional mani/pedi/spa pedi. There is a mini parking lot right in front of the business' doors and there is meter street parking with quarters on Main Street. The owner and her staff are attentive and courteous. Service is consistently great and most of all, it is THE CLEANEST nail place in town. It is by law (state health dept.!) that nail salons must properly sterilize ALL tools for each individual service, and there is not a single nail salon in town that does this properly except Jasmine. The technicians pull sterile tools out of autoclave packages at the beginning of each visit for you. While this may not be a concern or thought for some, you can get infections and fungus in your nails from unsanitary tools and pedicure tubs. And yes, the pedicure tubs are lined with disposable plastic liners when you go! They take walk-ins, but appointments are a good idea as the space is on the small side. As I said, their staff are thorough so plan about 1.5 hrs for a regular mani + pedi, longer for Spa of course (which is worth it)! read more
