While I couldn't pin down the precise name for this beer on Untappd on the board at the bar I got what they simply called "Spicy Lager". This was a lager as it may indicate to have some spice to it and indeed it did. It kind of had a peppery heat to it in the flavor profile which was nice but it wasn't so overwhelming that it caused discomfort such as heartburn later. I have indeed encountered that with some of these hot chile pepper beers but not the case here. When I brought it home (Tacoma, WA) Steve and I cracked it open and had the beer with an enchilada casserole in which the beer paired with the food perfectly but I imagine with the pizza side that is Audrey's it would go well with pizza and with a dash of red pepper flakes also. The restaurant itself is so cute and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. On top of the amazing food, the staff was incredibly kind. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well.
