Red tractor Pizza has everything you need for a great family dinner night. Delicious food, very cute interior, even a little kid-friendly play area to keep the littles occupied. Also, what appears to be a performance area with a piano. Our server Emilie was great. She was very friendly and she spoke with us extensively about things to do and see in the area. Red Tractor has very cute decor throughout, including a lot of artwork. Anyways, let's get to it. The pizza was delicious. Extremely fresh toppings, a very thin, perfectly balanced, crispy and soft crust. In addition to trying two of their delicious pizzas (the Soprano and Azteca), we also tried an order of the Bill Murray Munchies. Everything was excellent, and the food came out quickly. Doordash driver here. Doordash doesn't provide us with pizza bags, and red tractor won't release orders to any driver without one. Not only does this waste the dashers time, but also increases the amount of time the customer will have to wait for their order. Very poor business management here, would not recommend. I respect wanting customers pizzas to be warm, but in that case they should provide their own method to keep it so. read more

Wins: easy-going and laid back vibe, often has music even on weeknights (one of the only places in town to do so!), tasty and shareable pies and surprisingly good salads. Bonus points for plenty of parking based on its location just outside the heart of downtown. The down side? While the food is good, the prices are pretty high. The wait staff also appears to be just a bit "lost" and/or overwhelmed on the seldom occasions I've dined there. They tend to act more like a counter service (which is fine if they owned that). Extremely rude staff, slow service and terribly overpriced food. Tried giving this place a second chance and it was horrible AGAIN. I walk in and I'm not greeted for what feels like 10-15 minutes, just as I was about to walk out-- I'm greeted and seated (with no apologies for the wait) the wait for the food itself was a long process as well, especially for a singular pie in a not-so full restaurant. When I actually get the food, the toppings tasted old--very old, almost riding the line of expired/rancid. First Andrew our server was excellent. Pizza was great - had a Carnivore with Spicy sauce pizza and a Bill Murray Pizza. Spicy sauce was very good if you like a little spice but it wasn't spicy really by my standards. Actually, with both pizzas, it made a surprisingly nice balance otherwise the Bill Murray would have been very sweet due to the sliced dates. Yes, I said dates and it also has goat cheese on it. The map beer "ridge hippy Kolsch" was a welcomed seasonal local brewery choice suggested by Andrew. The live music added to the atmosphere. I ordered 2 pizzas, one regular crust and one gluten free for my intolerant friends, both were excellent. I ordered the red sauce as a baseline, it wasn't overly salty or sweet like many red sauces are, it tasted like real tomato sauce. There wasn't too much cheese to overpower the vegetables and meat, it was just right. Overall I'm happy with the pizza's I ordered, usually gluten free crust means lacking in flavor but this time that wasn't the case as I compared both side by side. I also noticed the bright flavors of the vegetables which are often lacking with all the Sysco vegetables in most places these days, I also liked the sauce tucked into the crust so that there was no part of the pizza that wasn't desirable. Adam is a great pizza chef and an overall nice guy who cares deeply about his product and it shows. The place itself has been expanded and remodeled since several years ago and the beers and cider were excellent, it has a stage for live music, it would be a really fun place to hang out. read more

Stopped into Red Tractor as I was driving through Bozeman. It was a classic hipster pizza spot as I would have expected. I appreciated the variety of toppings and I suppose they pride theirselves on the farm to table component and freshness. I ordered an 11" pizza which amounts to basically a meal for 2 people so it served as both lunch and to-go dinner for me. Ultimately, I struggled between 3 or 4 stars for Red Tractor but went with 3 simply because of the price point. For an 11" pizza with some degree of variety, you can find yourself spending $20+. At that price point, I have had much more sizable and delicious pizzas from similar type pizza joints throughout the country. This is why I didn't find Red Tractor particularly special as a visitor but perhaps it is a unique experience within Bozeman. Staff that was there was kind and it was nice to relax and eat my pizza out on their patio. read more

We decided on the waldorf pizza - really enjoyed the blue cheese. The 11" was just about enough for 2 people (with room for dessert). I'm always afraid of doing that since take out orders always seem to get skimped on their order in most places. Our family went to the restroom and I paid for the order, $78 for two large pizzas that normally we would not have been able to finish. When I opened the pizza box I was more than disappointed to see a skimpy amount of toppings and a scant amount of vegan cheese. We finished all of it since the crusts were so thin and the toppings very skimpy and little to no cheese on each bite. Used to be our favorite pizza in town but unfortunately the prices have gotten out of hand. A large specialty pizza is now $41. Our family used to order from Red Tractor a couple times a month but every time we order there is another price hike. $2 keeps getting added to on everything on the menu every couple of months. Our order a few years ago costed $58 with tip and the last time we ordered, which was the exact same order, a few weeks ago it was $96. This is the exact same order! That's absolutely insane. Your prices are driving away the locals. Tourist may pay this but your loyal customers can no longer afford your pizza. We went from ordering your pizza a couple times a month to zero! It is a very hipster (smoked to much weed when making the menu) place. The pizza was very thin, very salty and not very filling. If you are there between 7-9, its more like a coffee shop vibe due to the weird jazz band music nights. Staff was friendly for the most part and the service was quick. The price for food is what really killed it for me. One pizza (half pepperoni and cheese, a meatball and a few sodas was 50 dollars. When you are serving food with the absolute cheepest silverware and aluminum pizza pans, its hard to justify your price.
