This is my husband's favorite pizza so we generally make a stop whenever we're in town. We usually order for pick up but we've also enjoyed dine-in a few times. It's not a huge place but there are a few tables inside and I believe even a couple outside. The pizza is in fact giant and is also delicious. And the staff is helpful and kind. My wife and I came in for some slices, but unfortunately, we seemed to catch the cashier at a bad moment. He appeared stressed after a smoke break and was quite snappy and rude throughout the interaction. As I am partially blind and needed to look closer at the pay screen, he was impatient and just edgy the whole time. He was a bald guy with glasses. I couldn't catch his name. Stopped by here on a Saturday around lunch and had some delicious pizza! This place is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center by San Elijo. Plenty of parking. Customer service was good. Walked up ordered a few slices and they came out 10 minutes later. The place is tiny but their is a small row of seats on one side. Everyone else we saw that day was picking up. Oh and right now they are not delivering so check before you make your order! The pizza was so good! The crust was perfect and plenty of toppings, slightly greasy which is from the good cheese. LOL Just the right amount of sauce and everything. Nice and fresh and HUGE! The slices were over a foot long. Check out my pictures of the boxes. A lot of times when you order a GIANT pizza you lose some quality, this is not the case here. Very good quality and big slices. I will be back! read more

We love this pizza! We loved it when they were down on D Street in Encinitas and now they are closer to us! My wife was craving a classic pepperoni pizza and going somewhere else (MG is closed Monday) we had one here the next day and it BLEW AWAY the other pizza. Giant is freaking huge...Pictures posted on yelp don't do justice! Barely fit through the pizza shop doors and on my driver seat. Flavors are tasty - placed order for 2 giant pizzas: 1/2 buffalo chicken and 1/2 pesto and 1/2 combo and 1/2 pepperoni. Paid approximately $100 including tax. (Letting folks know as pricing on yelp is out of date) Slices are not your typical size, they are longer than usual. We really enjoy our local Manhattan Giant Pizza restaurant, particularly their Margarita and New York pizza pies which are always prepared very well with perfectly crispy crust, slightly browned cheese and fresh ingredients. As can happen with pizza they don't overload andundercook the pies which can result in a disastrous floppy serving... Not here! The staff is super friendly and turnaround time on orders great. Have tried their lasagna a few times and have been underwhelmed so normally just stick to pizza. We'll definitely be back! read more

We've ordered pizza here 4 times so far and every single time it was so great! The best thing about their pizzas is the crust! Love that it's thin, chewy, and holds all the toppings up great. Horrible. Got the pizza home opened the box, go to grab a slice and a baby cockroach runs out from under the pizza. I kill it in utter disbelief. Then a second runs out. Killed it also. Took pizza back and the woman starts yelling at me for not being quieter about it. I wasn't even rude! Other customers brought their pizza back for a refund and then she really started yelling at me. Flailing her arms and everything. The other customers told me they couldn't believe she was yelling at me. Absolutely disgusting. I will be telling everyone about this incident of roaches and her yelling at me. Unbelievable. read more

So stoked Manhattan Pizza came back into my life after a terribly long hiatus. My family used to come here regularly when they were located in Encinitas...sadly the owner of the plaza they were in switched hands and they were forced to close within a month. I think this place used to be located in Encinitas, by my work, and I was pretty upset when it closed. I was happy to find it had relocated to a place near my residence! They aren't kidding about "giant pizzas." I had previously bought pizza by the slice here, but I've never bought whole pizzas so never experience just how gigantic these things are. Recently, I ordered two of their largest sized pizzas for a hangout, and they were delivered quickly. Because they were so giant, we could not finish them, and took them with us when we migrated the gathering to a neighbor's house. She drives a suburban and I literally could not get the box into her front seat. I had to tilt it at an angle to get it in. Anyway - important thing is, pizza is delicious. Crust is on the thinner side, which I prefer. Thin but soft, not crispy. Will definitely order from here again. read more

Pie is good. The prices on the web are WAY OFF the price you will actually pay when you go pick it up. My x-large pepperoni pie was 30% more than listed online. When the young man rang me up, I told him what the online price was. He said,"yeah, they've been off for a long time." Wow. He's just a kid, but the owner was there and didn't say a thing. WTF? Don't mind paying for the pie, but I do mind when an owner doesn't change their prices online and take advantage of their customers. Please fix this Mr. Manhattan Pizza! Ordered the lasagna and meats pizza. My first time trying this place, and the lasagna was absolutely delicious! And inexpensive! Pizza was very good as well. They never answer their phone when we call to place an order. Or sometimes we drive over there when they are supposedly open, and the restaurant is closed. I finally call today before 3pm and yay, someone answers. I'm told my pizza will be ready at 5:45. I show up at 5:45 and am told it will be another 45 minutes. I've already waited 2.5 hours. I hope this place goes out of business so our family can stop being disappointed by their poor management. Do better! We won't be going here anymore. read more
