Then when I got my order thy brought our garlic bread! ‍. So I paid almost $10 for garlic knots when I didn't have to. But other than that, it was actually good! Good little local pizza restaurant in the Creekside Market Place. We ordered online and picked up. I think we got a large, half pepperoni/sausage and other half vegetarian for our non meat eaters. The pizza came out hot, it was a good size, very affordable. Fresh ingredients. The crust was soft and pillowy. I didn't mind that kind of crust, my husband prefers the thinner crust and hard crust, although he doesn't eat the crust anyways. The place was clean, had some tables and some diners. Why aren't there six stars? Tonight I couldn't decide between the lasagna and one other menu item so I asked the delightful young lady behind the counter with the terrific smile and cheekbones for her suggestion, and that was the lasagna. I have paid over twice the amount I was charged at 'Nice' Italian restaurants for lasagna but what I enjoyed from Two Bros' was more than twice as good. I was raised in Italian family so I think I can be a fair judge. The only problem now will be to resist going there once a week for an order. And the bread that was included was much better than the average "garlic bread" that's slathered with some yellow grease, garlic salt and paprika. Theirs was a nice and quite authentic dinner roll. Got the vegetarian pizza and I was so surprised at how many olives came on it. I love olives on my pizza but I think this was a bit too much for my liking. It was still tasty though. The crust was soft with a slight crisp. I actually ate some of the crust which says a lot for me. Easily the best pizza in town. I came in randomly one night, an hour before closing, after a hard gym sesh, looking for a good cheat snack, after days of salads and carrots and eggs finally broke me. Walked in and was greeted immediately, solid start, and always a great sign. Nice and cozy atmosphere, brick-walls like you're in brick oven, and the smell of "delicious". One of a few local spots that sell pizza by the slice, and this is what got my foot in the door in the first place. When I walk into a new pizza joint, the first thing I look for are the single slices still left on the display. All the pizzas were quarter or half-circles, which lets you know that the place you're in is pushing some serious pie. The other local spots I've visited up until now had entire pizzas displayed, barely even touched and begging to be sold, but here, in front of me, was a whole medley of different and delicious slices. They all looked delicious, and my choice was not an easy one. In the end, I settled with the cheese, a solid baseline to judge a pizza shop from. I knew it just looking at it, but from the first bite, I knew I found my main pizza spot, and one to share with friends and family. This place has nailed the art of pizza, without a doubt. Sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and acidic, the bottom was perfectly crisped, and the cheese was greasy enough to know it's quality, but not enough to ruin your morning. Was helped by Stefano both times I went in this week, super chill guy who goes out of his way to look out for all the customers and makes sure your experience there is a good one. Fire pizza, reasonably priced, and great hospitality. My experiences here this week have cemented this spot as my go-to pizza spot. For my diet's sake, I wish I never stepped foot in here, but only because now, whenever I'll leave the gym, I'll know that the best pizza in town is right down the street. read more

Wow. Just, wow. Two Brothers Pizza is the most authentic Italian food I have ever had. From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. Their baked ziti pasta is out of this world--the sauce (or as they call it, gravy) is unbelievably rich and flavorful. And don't even get me started on the cheese ravioli. The raviolis are so fresh and the gravy is a total home run. The pizza is also flawless. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about here. I also have to shout out their garlic bread--it's absolutely to die for. The owner is a true gem, very humble and grateful. My favorite Two brothers. I've eaten at Two bros from Italy since I've been in grade school at their original location in Oceanside. Fast forward 25+ years and I still have nothing but compliments to them and the great food they put out. Some locations are better than others, as I've been to them all. Food from Italy has become so popular these days and the Two Brothers From Italy really has reason to increase the love of Italian food. Service is friendly and helpful. We ate in and food was delivered promptly with the food piping hot!!! The dining area was cozy with the pizza parlor atmosphere. You can tell a lot about an Italian restaurant by two touchstones: a deluxe pizza and lasagna. I had the Two Brothers Deluxe Pizza. Crust was soft and crispy at the same time. Perfect balance of meat to cheese to vegetables ratio. Delicious!!! My partner in crime tried the Lasagna. Very hefty and oozy with cheese and a great meat marinara sauce. Did not disappoint. We finished our Italian meal with...a cannoli!!! Creamy and delicious. A definite favorite to go back to in San Marcos. Ps. Again, the leftovers are even better the next day!!! We ordered a bunch of food to be delivered last night and the entire family, including my Pops who was visiting from Connecticut, we very impressed. Kids loved the pizza and fettuccini (and all 4 ate it without complaining and took some to school this morning.... high props!) This was the 1st time at this location and we thought it'd be as good as the Oceanside one we've eaten at and got takeout from. Called in our 2 sandwich order and was told 25 minutes which is what it took. More bread than meat or cheese so was unhappy with that. This little hole in the wall is tucked away but is worth it to look for... we had a calzone just to add some fun and their meat one is delicious...yes we know it's a folded pizza...it's still fun...what we didn't realize when we ordered is they offer a Sicilian style pizza...it's a deep dish pizza...we aren't a fan of thick crust, but this one was tasty, the sauce and great cheese was worth it as well....we couldn't finish one slice though...it's a LOT of bread!!! Tried this place a few times, overcharged three of those times. Last time the order was lasagne, stated on both menu and wallboard as $14.99. Picking up the order, in a completely empty restaurant, the guy says, "That will be $18.99. I pointed to both the wallboard AND menu laying there and the idiot starts gaslighting, "They forgot to change the prices," and then another lie and another until finally stating the meat sauce on top was $4.00!! We went for the pizza but found the meatball sub and baked ziti (10 out of 10) way better than the pizza! My only recommendation would be to ask for a side of marinara / sauce with the sub. You don't want it directly on the sub to where it gets soggy but a side to dip in would be spectacular. Pizza was ok but not great. Strange to think that pizza joints that aren't New York Style have fallen by the wayside for me. Because of this I have been thinking of only going to East Coast Pizza back in Encinitas as well as making my own Whitestone and Margherita pizzas at home (apologies to my father for the last set which went into our dying oven). And that's a shame, because when we finally got off our butts and ordered takeout from Two Brothers during the pandemic, we realized that we'd been missing out on something pretty grand. I had a Sausage and Mushroom Calzone. The crust was chewy, flavorful, a great amount of gluten in the mix, and had that light burn to it to help caramelize. Honestly, a well done shell. And the interior was full with enough cheese and fillings to easily stretch out this one calzone across three meals for myself. With their great marinara to dip in, this not only satisfied, but was a damn good value for the cost. My wife had the Roast Beef and Cheese Oven Baked Sub. She found it a bit dry, but I'm also pretty sure she had it without Italian Dressing. It's difficult to replicate the juiciness of a fresh cut slice of Roast Beef in deli form, especially after spending a few minutes in the heat of an oven. Our son had a Gourmet Style Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, and Tomatoes. Everything on it was delicious, as expected, with my favorite bit being placing the tomatoes on after baking which kept them plump and fresh feeling. The only issue I had was how perfectly round and uniform the crust felt. It honestly seemed like it was pressed by a machine instead of hand tossed or rolled and curled over a table. Regardless, Two Brothers is definitely worth a second trip. There are some things on my list of meals I regularly want to eat, and calzones are definitely in that top twenty. read more

Looks can be deceiving. This quaint little pizza parlor in the middle of a busy shopping center may not seem like they would serve an authentic, tasty airy, savory pizza. My Calzone was served with two small containers of marinara sauce on the side. The marinara sauce was cold. Just room temperature. I've tasted better bottled sauces than this one came with. The Caesar Salad was just a plate of cut up Romaine with some croutons sprinkled on top. A light scatter of Parmesan and a tiny cup of dressing perched on the side. Not even tossed. Been here many times but my favorite is the pasta with two meatballs to go. Yes the slices of pizza are good at lunch time & the sandwiches too. Calzones seem to be popular also. But my go to for carry out is the pasta with red sauce and meatballs. Lasagna with meat sauce is my second choice. I enjoy taking it home to enjoy as the dining area is small here.
