I missed…read moreone appointment in two years (I had the flu and it didn't even cross my mind to check my calendar and cancel my appointment) and then was told no one feels comfortable serving me anymore because I didn't show up. I never do walk ins; I always made appointments. On several occasions they would try to get me to come in earlier or later (a few screenshots of the texts for proof) and then tell me their techs don't have time to wait around 15-20 mins in between appointments or services... but on a handful of occasions they had me sitting there waiting for the tech to finish up someone else for 20/25 mins. So that makes me think that they value their techs time, but not the customers time who make appointments ahead of time. I'm not sure if it's the man up front or one of the ladies who manage the phone they text from. But whomever it is clearly has my number and when I didn't show up for my appointment a courtesy call would have been appreciated. They have never been shy about texting me prior. Brooke told me that no one tells her when she has appointments, but I'm not sure how that is my fault or problem as the customer seeing as I did my part of making appointments ahead of time. It feels more like an internal communication. Also a month ago, during the middle of my service Brooke let me know that pricing was raised $5 ($40 to $45 is a 13% increase) for a dip manicure. Wasn't much I could do about it since it was mid-service. I looked around and there was no signage notifying anyone about price increases. I didn't say anything. I did notice the next visit they did put a notice at the front desk. But during the service I was told about the price increase, Brooke CUT my finger and then blamed it on using an old dull nail file... if they are raising the prices due to the cost of materials then they should be able to use a new nail file in order to avoid cutting the customers. It was definitely time to part ways after the experiences over the past two months. I do recognize that I missed my appointment, but it was the first time in two years and was not a reoccurring habit. If you are a person with a loose schedule, who wants to utilize any tech, and don't mind waiting for 20+ mins then this salon is for you.

I asked to get my cuticles to get taken care of, when I called to book the appointment and again when I sat down with the nail tech. I asked for this because I know if the cuticles are not taken care of you'll need a fill much sooner and it doesn't look at good. Then with the nail art simple French tip. The thickness of the lines between nails and hands was off. I shouldn't have to highlight that, there should be enough pride taken in the work being done for things to be done well. I shouldn't have to be put in the position to tell you the quality is lacking when it's your specialty. So I left with well it just is what it is nails. I did not tip her because she was angry and it was not even at all what I wanted, $70 absolutely absurd for the nails that didn't even stay on let alone was not what I wanted and then the horrible way she acted towards me. I had a last-minute appointment and ended up with a different technician than planned, which I didn't think would be an issue based on the glowing reviews. Sadly, the pedicure didn't quite hit the mark. I noticed while I was still sitting there that the polish job didn't look great, but I let it go without saying anything. I really wish I had taken a closer look -- after getting home and showering, I could see that there were patches with polish completely missing and polish still sitting on my cuticles. Lesson learned! I wouldn't rule this place out for a future visit, but I'd definitely be more attentive next time and speak up in the moment if something seems off.
