This was my first time in her salon after getting nails during the pandemic, and I got gel x custom anime nails in short almond I believe. I don't know, I just let her pick stuff and I okay it and away we go! I'm not super picky, but she was great at taking the wheel. She had a great playlist playing while doing My nails. I gave her an idea of what I wanted for my set and we worked together on the end game, but I'm a very casual person when it comes to my sets and Diana is amazing at making magic happen! So in love and obsessed with my nails! The only thing I'm upset about is that I don't have a better camera to take higher quality pictures of them! I typically don't get my nails done that much because it's really hard for me to find someone who gives great manicures + doesn't force me to get acrylics/ any added design for a ridiculous amount. But! Diana is hands down amazing! She does a great job at filing and cleaning up your nails and when she paints them and starts to design them, she is so meticulous and detailed. Still in awe by how she was able to do such intricate and small designs by hand painting them. I don't think I'll ever go to anyone else to do my nails after meeting Diana and I highly recommend if you're looking for some pretty nail art! read more

I've been following Diana's nail journey via Instagram for some time now-- if you've taken a peek at any of her customer photos, it's obvious that her nail art is miles beyond the average $5 salon design add-on. She started as a face painter, which makes sense when you look at all the intricate and well-thought out patterns, cartoon characters, and caricatures she is able to recreate on 10 tiny canvases; years of practice have perfected her ability to paint on a nail without it being overly busy, while still being highly recognizable and greatly detailed. Needless to say, I was impressed with her work, and have plotted to make her nail designs my reality. I ended up not going for an complicated design, but my acrylic and gel was so immaculately applied--so smooth and even-- my nails looked almost machine made. It was jaw-dropping how perfect they were; I cannot recommend her enough. Since it's just her in the studio, if she's booked there's not much one can do, but luckily she's super responsive when you need your nail fix. Phone shy? You can text her. Convenient to the Bellflower/Anaheim area but I'd recommend the drive to see her. Just be sure to make an appointment first! read more

The best gel manicure I've ever had! Diana does beautiful work and if you can think it up she can make it happen! Definitely make an appointment! She's also really great at doing specialty drawings on your nails, seriously pretty much anything you can think of she can make a nail reality for you! I came to Diana on a recommendation from my wax girl. I've always complemented her on her nails and she tells me, oh my friend does them and she's fantastic. Well, I finally treated myself. I am soooooo stoked on my nails! Diana was a true professional from start to finish. I initially called her but she sent me a text to ask me to communicate through text. I totally get it. I am so excited to have found Diana. Her work is very professional. I had my acrylic nails removed which she soaked off very carefully. I have issues with lifting from other salons and whenever they would remove my nails, they will use another nail to run underneath and pry off. Diana told me that if someone does that you should leave that salon right away because it does more damage to your nails. I appreciated the education she gave me on proper nail care technique. I have been getting gels for several years at all of the local small shops. They were never really great and tended to chip, crack, lift within a week. I was about to throw in the towel and buy gel equipment myself but I saw someone at a local hair salon, The Mint, following my studio. I saw the had recently added a new nail professional and when I looked at her work I was AMAZED at the artwork. I could only imagine what she might do with just some gel. The fact that The Mint and Aphrodite Nails were woman owned was a bonus in my book. So I went. Diana was punctual, polite, professional and personable. I just wanted basic short gels, because I work. They lasted two whole weeks! What? I was so happy. I went back and got another set. They have been on two whole weeks and not a chip, scratch, or lift. In fact, I can't even peel these suckers off! Gonna have to soak them off. I am going to try and see if this next set can make 3 weeks I am just so impressed and happy with her work. You need to look at her art on nails.
