I'm so sad because I really liked this salon. The ladies are so kind and welcoming and their prices are incredibly fair. I did builder gel for the first time a month ago and they held up pretty well. I got a fill less than 2 weeks ago with a different tech and I loved how they turned out! Sadly, two of my nails started peeling and breaking within a couple of days though. I figured maybe it was just by chance because it was the same hand but today, a large chip at the tip of my middle nail (opposite hand) occurred after closing the hatch of my car However, my pedicure has held up pretty well. I guess in short, it's a great place with nice staff and good pricing but I wouldn't recommend this place for gel. Just stick to nail polish.

I am calling this Moon Magic from here on out. 1. I travel A LOT, I have my nails done all over America and this woman always goes above and beyond but not only that they never chip or break. 2. She can take off your gel, GelX, etc without soaking your nails in acetone, again Moon Magic! 3. She is the sweetest most hard working woman, show her any photo and she will make your nail dreams come true. Seriously, don't waste your money anywhere else! See Moon!

I rarely leave reviews on here but TRUE Nails & Spa is deserving in all levels. I've been coming for the past two months and the staff is so sweet and accommodating. I show Moon the Pinterest nail color I want and she comes through. I don't do gel nail polish on my manicure. That being said my nail polish last a good while. That also with washing my hands 100000x at work. They're also reasonably priced. The get a perfect score.

OH MY GOSH!!! Are you kidding me with these nails?! Literally most gorgeous nails I've ever had. Lynn is magical. She's wildly talented!!! I brought in a few pictures and told her I wanted Clase Azul nails to match the tequila bottle because I'm going to Mexico and she effing nailed it! I I couldn't be more happy. Also, they got me in immediately. It was pretty early in the morning and they did start to get busy, but I was so thankful.

It was the first time someone walked and they said it was going to be a 45 min wait. I was comfortable during my services and my nails are gorgeous

I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try this salon. I am very picky and won't stay at salon that does a poor job or has bad quality products (like dirty dip powder). I just don't like wasting my money and feel I have to correct something back at home. Lynn did an amazing job and my nails look beautiful. She added tips with a dip and then used a gel coat. The gal that did my pedicure was also very good. I am looking forward to making this my go to nail salon.

True Nail really said "main character energy only" Moon did my nails and I'm literally obsessed. The neon is POPPING, the shape is clean as hell, and she somehow made everything look playful but still super polished and pretty. My toes even look like they got a confidence boost You can always tell when someone actually cares about their work and Moon absolutely does. She took her time, paid attention to every detail, and the whole appointment felt relaxing instead of chaotic. 10/10. TRUE talent and quality manicurists! The cutest spot in Huntington Beach, CA near the 405 and major freeways in Orange County. These are the sweetest Vietnamese ladies that make sure you're comfortable while you're there and happy when you leave. They keep the salon clean, smelling fresh, and AC nice and cool. They pick up the phone every single time I call (during business hours), provide efficient service with quality products. They also have so many options & colors to choose from and can pretty much do any design you ask. My boyfriend and I are regulars and he refuses to go anywhere else because they give the best pedicures too! Had a great experience. Went in for an acrylic removal with Gel mani/pedi (Deluxe), and both ladies were very courteous and professional. The service prices were on par with the majority of other nail salons in HB. Good parking, they take all forms of payment, including Zelle. I gave 4 stars, it was my first time there. I thought I would get some sort of discount but was not offered any. I would definitely recommend it. read more

This has been my go-to nail salon for over a year now. They are consistent, friendly & they always make me feel comfortable. They have wonderful color choices and I don't really get nail designs anymore (because of time) but they do have nail techs who do a great job with them. Another thing I love is that, when it's slow and someone is available, they always offer a shoulder massage while I'm getting my nails done! The vibe is chill, although I typically go during the week since I don't usually make an appointment. I walked in here in a panic after having my wedding nails butchered at another salon. I was desperate to have them fixed and the ladies here seriously saved the day. My regular nail lady was out of town so I was desperately trying to get my nails done. I tried this place due to the great Yelp reviews. They happily took care of me with no appointment. Moon did my nails and she was very friendly and attentive. She took care to my requests and did an excellent job. The salon isn't too fancy but it is clean. I would return! read more

This was my first time coming to these Nails salon. It was clean, and they could take me without an appt. I told them that I just he'd foot surgery 9 weeks ago, and they made sure to be gentle on my foot. For me it was money well spent! I just wish I was closer to Huntington Beach so I could make this regular nail salon. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK. The dip fully came off of 2 nails within the first week and were only hanging onto my nail from the acrylic only. After 6 days one chipped from me putting my key into my door. They just keep lifting and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet. Will be contacting them for a refund. Ive got dip before from another salon and it lasts for over a month. read more

"Ask for Joe". Joe is beyond professional and skillful. I've come here for a few times now; every time Joe has always taken a great care of me. Needless for me to speak too much, the photos already show how great his work is. During Covid 19 pandemic, I applauded the staff to follow proper protocol. The salon looks squeaky clean. Gloves and masks are enforced. They can offer you a mask if you happen to forget one. Appointments are encouraged. Social distancing is enforced between the desks and spa chairs. I went here for the first time today because the high reading reviews. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with how many nails turned out and I spent over $100 on my nails and toes. Totally don't mind the prices if the results look good but I'm really bummed with how my nails turned out. I also felt very rushed and she only did one coat for the French tip so everything looks off colored. read more

I had a last-minute appointment and ended up with a different technician than planned, which I didn't think would be an issue based on the glowing reviews. Sadly, the pedicure didn't quite hit the mark. I noticed while I was still sitting there that the polish job didn't look great, but I let it go without saying anything. I really wish I had taken a closer look -- after getting home and showering, I could see that there were patches with polish completely missing and polish still sitting on my cuticles. Lesson learned! I wouldn't rule this place out for a future visit, but I'd definitely be more attentive next time and speak up in the moment if something seems off.

My cuticles were not pushed down or trimmed along with the gel itself was not taken all the way down to my cuticle therefore right when I left the salon it looked like I already needed a fill. This is my nails a wee and a half after getting them done. I also got my toes done at the same time in which I got gel and they chopped immediately... I'm no sure what happened, that's never happened to me. Last week one of them broke (5 days after getting them done it cracked randomly) and I had Annie fix it. She did a great job. Another 5 days later two more cracked in half. They weren't hard nails, I am very disappointed. Now I have to go back less than 2 weeks after getting a full set and get a fill and 2 fix's. Annie is great, I will be going back to her.

I just feel pressured to get more or they'll talk you into the next thing. I've been coming here off and on for years. (At least 5 or so). I live a block away, so loved the convenience and thought that they were overall pretty good. As a long time customer, I brought my 5 year old in a few times within the last year or so. The first time was great! They treated her so well and helped pick her colors and did a great job with her nails. But this last time I brought her in, my kid wanted to same as last time: which was 3 colors. I saw dirty looks and an overall annoyed worker immediately followed by talking back and forth to their coworkers, very obvious they were annoyed with us. (Although I couldn't understand the language or the problem). This was a weekday and it was super slow, and there were maybe 3 other people in the salon getting services, mind you. Not a stressful situation. They grabbed the colors, painted her nails quickly and walked away... they just were not friendly at all. At the end, when I went to pay, I asked for a breakdown bc it was more than I calculated in my head and they charged me an additional $10 for a third color. They said 2 colors were no up charge but the 3rd is $10. That was never communicated with me. They didn't do that the previous times I was there. And to have a 3rd color, it meant that 4 nails were painted with that (basically the middle finger/toe on each limb). Cmon guys. Also- as a 5 year old, their nails typically stay on for only 4-5 days at best- to spend $50 on that- I won't do that again. I decided in that moment that I would not be able to return here. To make an additional $10 off of me that day, but to lose years of my business- and with me bringing in friends and my daughters.... I hope that was worth it. To secretly upsell because an employee is annoyed is just wrong. Just tell me ahead of time there would be a cost- I would have clearly only done 2 colors... To do that to a long time customer was inappropriate... and to treat my child that was very well behaved in such a manner- didn't talk to her, and was overall annoyed the whole time- was just rude. Do better, guys. For the rest of the staff- you have all been friendly over the last several years. So thank you. The stars I left are for you guys.

I came to this nail spa today, did "dipping powder set", and felt wonderful coming home. My nails came out clean, look shiny and neat. Usually, only my sisters know my nails just have done from a spa. Supprisingly, my boyfriend gave me a compliment about the look of my new nails, which he had never paid attention to before. I asked him how he noticed the change. He said "I dont know, the colors just look great on yours". My thank to Annie, who gave me this great feeling. She made the set with passion and carefulness. I know I spent my money properly at a right place when she just finished my nails. Also, the spa looks clean, spacious despite of the outside look (which is soft of small). I have to be honest. I'm super disappointed. I went for a gel manicure many times. The first time was perfect and it stayed on. So I came back. The second time it chipped within a day so I called and their customer service was great and they redid my nails (I tipped her). Then I went back again and got another mani. I had 3 fingers chip and went back to get them fixed (added more tips). After I get home from 2 different times of fixing my chips, another nail chipped. I won't be going back. For the amount of money I spent in gas going back and forth, plus tips, these girls are making out. Such a bummer. read more

I'm living in the LA area, but the weekend I went visit my parents in OC. I googled for a nail salon within the area which had 5 stars rating, so I found NVY nails & spa. My first time here, I love the place. It clean, many selections of polishes, and exceptional services, and super friendly nails techs.
