However, the work performed was incomplete, inadequate, and significantly below the standards one would expect from a professional contractor. To outline the issues I encountered: Faulty Agreement and Incomplete Work: Larry Davis provided a faulty agreement outlining the scope of work to be completed in my condo. Unfortunately, the majority of the tasks were left unfinished, forcing me to hire another contractor to complete the work that had been promised and paid for. Unfulfilled Promises: In the contract, Larry Davis committed to installing a new walk-in bathtub, which I never received. Additionally, the closet doors were improperly sized, there were holes in various doors, and many other elements of the renovation were left incomplete. Subpar Craftsmanship: The quality of work that was done by L Davis Design LLC was subpar and unprofessional. There were problems with toilet functionality, including improper flushing, a leak in both bathrooms, and issues with the bathroom shower knob falling off. Failure to Complete Tasks: L Davis Design LLC failed to complete several tasks as agreed upon. Televisions were not hung, mirrors were not installed, and even the promised furniture delivery never materialized. Despite multiple attempts to contact Larry Davis, he has not taken any action to rectify these issues. Excessive Budget Overruns: The project consistently exceeded the initial budget by a significant amount. Each situation resulted in an additional expense of $25,000 to $30,000, causing undue financial strain and further dissatisfaction. Lack of Timeliness: The timeline provided by L Davis Design LLC for completion was severely disregarded. For instance, what was meant to be a 3 to 5 day delivery of chairs stretched to 31 days. Additionally, what was supposed to be a 45 day delivery of other furniture items, resulted in a 3 1/2 month delivery. As a result of the delay, I ended up having to cancel the complete order as I had already purchased furniture for my guests who arrived during the time frame of the delay. I requested to be reimbursed for the canceled order due to Larry Davis' negligence, but was met with anger and hostility. Unprofessional Behavior: Larry Davis displayed unprofessional behavior by using vulgar language, belittling comments, and derogatory remarks during interactions. Such conduct is unacceptable and added to the distressing experience. Refusal to Refund Money: Despite the numerous issues and incomplete work, Larry Davis has refused to refund the money paid for the unfulfilled services and failed promises.
