For the second time in a row we've had bad service - really bad service - from here, and we won't…read morebe going back. Based on a recommendation from a coworker I took my Subaru in because it seemed to need an alignment - pulling hard to the right. Gave them my phone number and we agreed they'd give me a call when they'd looked at it. Three days later, no call. I called them - "Uh, we haven't had a chance to look at it yet." When will you, I asked? "I think tomorrow." OK, fine, give me a call, ok? "Sure." No call, again, after two days. This is getting to be a pain now. When I called they said the car was ready. Was the alignment fixed? Yeah, I'm pretty sure, the guy said - but he wasn't the one that worked on it. This place is really small, by the way, in the middle of nowhere. So I really need my car now, after having it in the shop for over a week, and when I pick it up they hand me a bill for over $400, which included front brakes ("We were pretty sure you'd need them soon, so we put them on") ?!?!? Are you kidding? No call, no agreement to have the work done, no discussion of alternatives, nothing. My husband and I chalked it up to miscommunication, figured we needed brakes anyway, and went with it. Two months later my husband has a squeaking noise on his truck and - yup - nearly the same thing happened. No calls, no communication, and work done that was not authorized - to the tune of over $300. AND - when he got the truck back it still squeaked. He called back immediately, was told to bring it in, did so, and was told it would cost another $300. Crazy. Forget it. We've already made an appointment with another mechanic that came highly recommended on Angie's List. Fingers crossed.

Staff is friendly but that's where the positives end…read more Proper procedure is to call with the diagnosis, give a repair quote, then get authorization to do the work and order parts. None of that occurred and based on another review this apparently is still a problem 8 years later, even with a change in management. Pricing is a joke. The nearly 3x upcharged part was expected but not $125 for a 7 mile tow and $200 for what should of only been 1-2 hrs worth of work. For the cost of the part alone I could have bought a Plus membership to AAA, had it towed up to 100 miles, gotten the part myself, and had it repaired in half the time. Unless it's serious, do the work yourself. Even a dealer would be preferred at these prices. On top of that, new scratches on the side of my car. Fun stuff.
